Michael Jackson's Doctor Agrees to Be Banned From Prescribing Heavy Sedatives

Michael Jackson's former physician has agreed not to administer the drug that killed the King of Pop. Dr. Conrad Murray and Texas Medical Board officials have mutually agreed that the medic will be prohibited from using or prescribing Propofol or other heavy sedatives.

The license restrictions will remain in effect until ongoing criminal allegations against Murray are resolved. The doctor has pleaded not guilty to an involuntary manslaughter charge in the death of Jackson.

Guns N' Roses scrapped a Friday night, April 9 show in Costa Rica following a reported stage collapse. Local reports suggest the weight of the band's big screen, suspended above the stage, and water damage combined to cause the problem at San Jose's Estadio Ricardo Saprissa.

The band hopes to reschedule the show over the weekend before jetting off to their next American concert in Guatemala, which is scheduled for Tuesday, April 13.

Swanson tells People, "Had Corey wished to be anywhere, he would have loved to be with us last night, to be with all his old friends." Guests also included actresses Nicole Eggert and Robyn Lively. "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" star Swanson adds, "It was like a reunion. Robyn brought tons of old pictures - lots of people with crazy hair and funny clothes, and people gave Judy gifts."

Recalling how "sweet" Torv was to him on the set, Valley said in an interview with EW last month, "She'd always come up to me and say 'Do you need coffee or tea or something?' We did get to know each other a little bit on the show. But she was working quite a bit, and I was like lying quietly on the slab. Hip-hop legend Dr. Dre has been turning to 1970s electronica pioneers Kraftwerk for inspiration as he completes work on his long-awaited album "Detox". But Dre admits he's been listening to a completely different genre of music to help fuel his creativity during the lengthy process. 30 Seconds to Mars are the United States soldiers in the video shoot of their single "This Is War". In three pictures taken during the filming, the band are seen donning army combat uniform and body armor. They have M4 rifles in their hands and ride an armored Humvee.

In order to accurately capture the conflict in the war field, the band hire director Edouard Salier who has been in Iraq for several times. "The song is really about conflict, and the album ['This Is War'] really is about it too: the inevitability of conflict, the blessing of conflict and what we can all learn from it. We've certainly had our fair share of it," frontman Jared Leto told MTV. "So for the 'This Is War' video, we wanted to explore another side of it. So we decided to portray soldiers in conflict."

Nicki Minaj Fires Waka Flocka Flame's Mother as Her Manager

Hot on the heels of her withdrawal from Rihanna's Last Girl on Earth Tour, Nicki Minaj decided to end her professional relationship with her manager Debbie Antney who is also the mother of rapper Waka Flocka Flame. Confirming the news is Debbie herself.

"I received a letter, which was (a) suspension," the woman who has managed Nicki for three years confessed to Hip-Hop Weekly magazine. "The next letter that came in was a cease and desist in doing all business with Nicki Minaj from Nicki's attorney."
