A representative for Mariah Carey has shot down reports the star is in talks to turn her life into a new stage musical. The singer/actress was said to be eyeing British star Leona Lewis to play her in the project.

An insider revealed, "Not only is she exotic, she's the only one who they reckon would be able to tackle Mariah's eight-octave vocal range." But Carey's spokesperson is adamant the report is just speculation, telling GossipCop the rumor is not true.

Aussie singer Peter Andre has dismissed reports he's dating British reality star Kerry Katona, insisting the claims are "one million per cent not true". The "Mysterious Girl" hitmaker has been single since he split from former glamor model Katie Price last year. Their divorce was finalized in September.

Reports in a British tabloid earlier this week suggested he and the former Atomic Kitten singer-turned-TV star were romantically involved after they were pictured in the U.K. edition of OK! magazine. Janet Jackson is still struggling to come to terms with the death of her brother Michael Jackson and refuses to listen to his music, nine months after the King of Pop's tragic passing. Jennifer Lopez is delighted she quit her record label - because the change signals a "new beginning" for her. The singer revealed earlier this year she was leaving Sony's Epic Records after 11 years, despite plans to release a seventh album through the label in April.

As it has been promised before, Columbia Pictures has provided a new trailer for "Salt" on early Thursday, April 1. Debuted by Apple, the video does not only share more action scene but also gives a glimpse of raunchy moments featuring the leading lady, Angelina Jolie.

But, when a Russian captive accuses her of being a Russian sleeper spy who is on a mission to kill the president in Manhattan, she is forced to go on the run. Mary J. Blige and Jay Sean share screen in a music video for their duet track "Each Tear". Directed by Marcus Raboy, the video is debuted on Yahoo! and filmed in black and white scenes. It flashes captures of children in between the two singers' scenes.

20th Century Fox has provided another sneak peek to action comedy "Knight & Day" be debuting an international trailer. Although it is quite similar to the second domestic trailer, the latest video which makes its way out via The Sun is concluded with new scene in which Cameron Diaz admits to Tom Cruise that she feels like having sex.

"Knight & Day" centers on a lonely woman named June whose seemingly harmless blind date suddenly turns her life upside-down when a super spy, Milner, takes her on a violent worldwide journey to protect a powerful battery that holds the key to an infinite power source. Diaz takes the role of June, starring opposite Cruise who plays Milner.

Michael Jackson and Aretha Franklin are to be inducted into the Apollo Theater's Hall of Fame in New York. The late King of Pop and the Queen of Soul will be named Apollo Legends at a gala on June 14.

Jackson launched his career with the Jackson Five at the Apollo's Amateur Night in the late 1960s. Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony will also be honored with Ruby Dee & Ossie Davis Arts and Humanitarian Award at the event for their humanitarian work.

Leonardo DiCaprio is preparing to follow in the footsteps of stars like Billy Crudup and Bob Hoskins by playing the director of America's Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), according to reports. The actor is in talks to star in a new biopic about J. Edgar Hoover.

The FBI boss has previously been played onscreen by Crudup - in 2009 "Public Enemies" - and Hoskins in Oliver Stone's "Nixon" in 1995. And now DiCaprio is considering tackling the role in Hoover, which Clint Eastwood is slated to direct, reports website Deadline New York.

"24" star Katee Sackhoff has beaten cancer - but the fight has put her in therapy. The 29-year-old actress, who plays Dana Walsh on the hit show, was diagnosed with thyroid cancer in 2009, and now feels sure she has won her battle for life.

The health crisis has given her a new outlook on life - but the scare put her in therapy. She says, "It was the scariest thing I've ever been through. I'm still in therapy trying to get over it." But the disease has given her new positivity, stating "I had cancer. Nothing scares me now."

Paul Greengrass is ready to move on after parting ways with Universal Pictures for an untitled Bourne 4 project. The helmer is currently in talks with 20th Century Fox to direct "Fantastic Voyage", a remake of 1966 movie of the same title, in which James Cameron is attached to produce through his Lightstorm Entertainment, so The Hollywood Reporter mentions.

Pierce Brosnan has taken aim at former British Prime Minister Tony Blair, branding him a "hollow man" who faltered politically due to his "mild stupidity". Ozzy Osbourne's new song "Let Me Hear You Scream" has been picked up as one of the theme songs for "CSI: NY". Following the announcement, a preview to the track is brought forward, attached to the sneak peek of the CBS' TV series.

Ozzy's live performance in a massive live concert is mashed up with scenes, including a prison riot, from an upcoming episode of the crime drama. "We were looking for something high energy and irreverent to sell the madness of a prison riot. We immediately responded to the new Osbourne tune. The song exceeded our expectations and brought exactly the right tone to the episode," executive producer Peter Lenkov said.

Paramount Pictures keeps teasing fans by sharing more footage from "Iron Man 2", this time by premiering the IMAX experience trailer for the movie. Though it mostly contains scenes included in the previously released sneak peek videos, fresh footage still can be found in the middle toward the end of this IMAX trailer.

"Lost" star Daniel Dae Kim has been suffering for his art on the final season of the desert island drama - he had to have his hand glued together after cutting it open on a screw. The actor was shooting an underwater scene when he had to take a trip to the emergency room after slicing open his hand.

He tells Entertainment Weekly magazine doctors were advised not to stitch up the wound for fear of infection - and so they decided to glue over the deep cut. Kim tells the publication, "I actually ripped open my hand on a stray drywall screw that was underwater. I had to run to the hospital to get my hand glued up."

Comedian George Lopez wants to turn his war of words with Lindsay Lohan into TV ratings for his late-night chat show - he's invited the actress to be his guest. Lopez upset the "Mean Girls" star by poking fun at her during his Monday night, March 29 show, prompting Lohan to lash out at him in a Twitter post.

The actress was hurt by the comic's remarks about photos taken of her which clearly showed white powder billowing out of her heeled shoes as she walked. Lopez made a cocaine reference in his joke about the troubled star, and she responded by tweeting, "Thanks for the childish comment regarding baby powder in my shoes to loosen up the leather don't you have kids? (sic)"

With two episodes left before the series ends, "Ugly Betty" makes a room for the return of Betty's old flame. Christopher Gorham reprises his role as Henry who left New York and comes back in town with a kid in his arm.

This will also be the episode where Bryan Batt from "Mad Men" guest stars as a soap opera star. Batt's Spencer Cannon is a client of Amanda who is determined to set him up with Marc. According to TV Guide, there is a chance that Batt will recur the role up until the April 14 finale.

Adapted from a comic book series by Mark Millar and John Romita Jr., "Kick-Ass" promises to offer a twisted, funny, high-octane adventure from director Matthew Vaughn. It follows the story of average teenager Dave Lizewski who decides to take his comic-book obsession as inspiration to become a real-life superhero.

Paul McCartney was forced to delay the start of his highly - anticipated concert at Los Angeles' Hollywood Bowl on Tuesday, March 30 after thousands of fans were held up trying to enter the venue. Seats in the arena were still half-empty at 7.30 P.M., when The Beatles' legend was set to kick off the sold-out gig, as concert-goers were kept waiting to have their tickets scanned at the entrance by just a few members of venue staff.

The show began 45 minutes late, but McCartney made sure he was worth the wait - he opened the outdoor concert with the fitting "Venus and Mars Rock Show", a track which makes reference to "rock 'n' roll at the Hollywood Bowl". He kept the 18,000-strong audience rocking for almost three hours with powerful renditions of Beatles, Wings and solo classics, such as "Yesterday", "Eleanor Rigby" and "Lady Madonna".

Surviving from the lost in Oscars and the harsh criticism from Howard Stern, Gabourey Sidibe takes a step forward in her career by taking the hosting job on "Saturday Night Live". E! Online heard from a source that the deal is done to have the "Precious: Based on the Novel PUSH by Sapphire" star on the variety show.

As "Transformers 3" is getting close to its start date, the film crew have contacted a city to be ready to welcome them for shooting. According to Post-Tribune, a member of the crew was expected to ask Gary's Board of Public Works and Safety for permission on Wednesday, March 31 to film scenes in Gary, Indiana on April 13.

It was further informed that the principal photography will take place at property owned by Majestic Star Casino at Buffington Harbor. Ben Clement, who volunteers as the director of Gary's office of Film and Television, claimed industrial property to the east of Majestic Star will be used for a scene which is supposed to be set in Russia. "It's a very, very quick scene," Clement dished on the said scene, adding that more footage could be shot in Gary in the future.

Thomas Haden Church has given up his dream of learning to ride a bull like a pro after breaking his pelvis while training for the rodeo sport. The "Sideways" star finally got the guts to pursue his lifelong dream after he finding fame.

But after weeks of training, Church was thrown off his bull in a painful accident that left him nursing a broken pelvic bone. The 49-year-old actor says, "When I was a kid I was like, 'Bull rider guys are the most courageous humans on earth!' So then I went to a bull riding school and I broke my pelvis the last day of the school."

More details about Lady GaGa-centric episode of "Glee" are shared by the cast as well as creator Ryan Murphy. Two songs which are confirmed being performed are "Bad Romance" and "Poker Face". While the former will be sung by the whole club, the latter is a solo for Lea Michele's Rachel. "Lea does a very stripped-down version of 'Poker Face'," Murphy said.

"Romance" will be one of the big pieces in the episode which hasn't got an air date yet. Luke Wilson and Tracy Morgan got off to an awkward start on new movie "Death at a Funeral (2010)" after signing on to play best pals - because the "30 Rock" funnyman struggled to remember his co-star's name. The film, a remake of a 2007 British movie of the same name, revolves around a dysfunctional family which comes together for the patriarch's funeral, only to be rocked by gay revelations from the deceased's alleged former lover.

The pair pretended to be best friends for the film, which began shooting in Spring 2009, but Wilson admits he's still baffled that Morgan failed to recognize him when he stepped off the set - and continued to call him by the wrong name. Wilson explains, "We were together all day long... We'd been working together for two weeks at one point and it was the end of the day on Friday and I said, 'Tracy, I'll see you later. Have a good weekend'."

Janet Jackson's music video in support of her new song "Nothing" has been teased through a short snippet which sees the R&B singer displayed on the wall of mirrors. The video is directed by Tim Pallen and is expected to be debuted later this week.

Beside the snippet, the clip is also previewed through a behind-the-scene footage. Janet said, "It's green screen now, but when you see it, you'll see the glass sheets, the walls of glass, and there will be different images on them as I walk between them."

Cult British rock band The Libertines' reunion was sealed after frontman Pete Doherty got into a brawl in Denmark. The controversial singer/guitarist was strolling through a street in the country in 2009 when a group of tourists hurled abuse at him - which escalated into a group fight. Doherty was so shaken up, he called up former Libertines' bass player John Hassall, who now lives in Denmark - and the conversation set the wheels in motion for the band's surprise reunion.

The Libertines split in 2004 after Doherty's drug addiction caused a huge rift with fellow frontman Carl Barat. Although they eventually made up, a full reunion of the band looked unlikely until Doherty contacted Hassall.

Selena Gomez launched her clothing line "Dream Out Loud" on Wednesday, March 31 when she attended a signing session in Paris, France. She visited one of the C&A stores to greet fans and introduce her first collection from the label.

"Dream Out Loud" is a budget-friendly line created for juniors and inspired by Selena's very own casual look. It will officially go in Kmart stores and at Kmart.com in July. Matt and Kim recently talked to MTV about Erykah Badu's "Window Seat" music video which is inspired by their "Lessons Learned" clip. Matt Johnson said Erykah reached out to them to discuss about her plan before filming the controversial video and he praised her for doing that and even crediting them at the end of the clip.

R&B star Faith Evans has been ordered to pay more than $360,000 in unpaid taxes, according to a U.S. report. The "I'll Be Missing You" hitmaker, who is attempting a career comeback after a five-year absence, has been hit with both federal and state demands from tax officials over missing payments.

America's Internal Revenue Service (IRS) bosses filed a $36,360 lien in New York on March 4, and another was submitted in Los Angeles for $119,821 in February. Evans is also said to owe the state of New Jersey $204,000, according to the Detroit News.

Fans of Michael Jackson have teamed up to pay for a plane to fly over Los Angeles next week, April 5 to "demand justice" for the King of Pop at his former doctor's court hearing. The group of loyal devotees have raised $1,250 to hire an airplane with a banner stating "We demand justice for Michael Jackson".

It will fly over L.A. County Superior Court as Dr. Conrad Murray arrives on April 5 for a hearing into allegations he administered Propofol to the King of Pop minutes before the star went into cardiac arrest and died in June 2009. Murray has pleaded not guilty to one count of involuntary manslaughter.

Legendary beauty Raquel Welch struggled to land jobs as a model when she first arrived in Hollywood - because agents "hated" her celebrated curves. The 69-year-old first showed off her impressive body in "One Million Years B.C." and soon became a pin-up for the 1960s.

But the sultry star admits industry bosses weren't immediately taken with her figure - and regularly turned her down for jobs. Welch tells U.S. talk show host Oprah Winfrey, "When I tried to do some modeling after I first came to L.A. - just to get a job - they hated my body. Everything was wrong."

Didi Benami did not survive both the third week of big stage and the last chance to impress the judges. The 23-year-old from Knoxville, Tennessee was sent packing in R 'n' B week after Simon Cowell and co. refused to use the judges' save to keep her in the competition although the studio audience wanted them to.

Mentored by Usher, Didi sang a rendition of Jimmy Ruffin's "What Becomes of the Brokenhearted" on Tuesday, March 30 night. "It was like swimming in jelly," Cowell said, adding it was over-the-top, old-fashioned and off melody.

"Massive Attack" music video is debuted on BET. Nicki Minaj drives a pink Lamborghini on the desert with her BFF Amber Rose sitting on the passenger seat and a chopper flying over their head. Beside invading the dry area, the Young Money female rapper also wanders in a jungle.

The video is directed by Hype Williams and was filmed in Lancaster, California on March 15. Sean Garrett who is featured on the song also makes cameo in this clip. "We're having fun in the car, and we see a freakin' helicopter chase us," Nicki told MTV about the desert shoot before explaining the jungle scene. "We did a crawling forest scene that was dope. That was shot at night. It's just beautiful. The clothes, the ambience, it's really, really pretty."

Fox TV executives have cut LL Cool J's appearance in a new ad for former Alaska Governor and U.S. vice-presidential candidate Sarah Palin's new TV special after complaints from the rapper. The hitmaker was upset when he heard an old interview with him was being used to promote Palin's "Real American Stories".

Palin has signed up as a correspondent for U.S. network Fox, and she'll also front her own show, which tells the life story of well-known Americans like LL Cool J and country singer Toby Keith. Promos for the show previewed clips of an interview the rapper purportedly gave to Palin, in which he describes how his family "is very pro-American".

The long awaited "Resident Evil: Afterlife" has got its preview through several new stills. Three of the photos capture Milla Jovovich's Alice pointing her gun. One of them features her with Ali Larter's Claire in the pouring rain.

Another picture offers a glimpse at evil Albert Wesker who is played by Shawn Roberts. The other still, meanwhile, sees a bloody man whose face hidden under what looks like a sack. The pictures from "Resident Evil: Afterlife" can be seen at Trailer Park Movies's MySpace.

One of the original cast of "High School Musical" will get more screen time with a new spin-off which will be premiered in summer 2011. Ashley Tisdale will reprise her diva role as Sharpay Evans in a new original movie called "Sharpay's Fabulous Adventure". Tisdale who owns production company Blondie Girl will also serve as the executive producer.

In the TV movie, Sharpay realizes her dream and moves to New York with her pet dog Boi after being discovered by a talent scout. Once there however, Sharpay quickly finds out that making it big in the Big Apple is not as easy as she thought and she has to temper her expectations somewhat if she's going to thrive.

Sore loser Shannen Doherty declined an offer to appear on late-night U.S. TV on Tuesday, March 30 after becoming the first celebrity to be voted off "Dancing with the Stars". As is tradition on the show, the rejected stars and their dance partners hot foot it over to "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" once the contest ends for them - but the former "Beverly Hills, 90210" star was too upset to make an appearance.

In making the announcement on his show, comedian Jimmy Kimmel said, "Never in the history of our show has a dancer declined our invitation to participate."

As previously predicted, Justin Bieber indeed takes the No. 1 position on Billboard Hot 200 with his new album "My World 2.0". It has sold around 283,000 copies in its opening week, topping another newcomer, Monica's "Still Standing".

This becomes Justin's first chart-topper and best sales week. When he dropped his first album "My World" in November last year, this Canadian singer could only debut at No. 6 with 137,000 copies. But in anticipation of the follow-up, the 2009 record rises to No. 5 this week with 50,000.
