Police are investigating claims singer Cheryl Cole was the target of a rape threat, according to a U.K. report. British TV presenter Dermot O'Leary, who stars alongside the Girls Aloud beauty on Simon Cowell's talent show "The X Factor", alerted cops to a voice message on his phone aimed at Cole.

In the message, the caller allegedly made vile threats about the 26-year-old, reports Britain's The Sun. A source tells the publication, "The message was of a sexual, threatening and sickening nature. Dermot was horrified when he heard it. He thought at first it was a sick wind-up (practical joke), but soon realized there was something sinister going on."

Funnyman Jonah Hill is hoping he will be cast in the next "Zoolander" movie after holding lengthy discussions with Ben Stiller about a possible villainous role. Stiller, who starred in and directed the hit 2001 movie, recently announced plans to bring the film back to the big screen.

And the "Superbad" comic is reportedly in the running to play a bad guy opposite Stiller and Owen Wilson in "Zoolander 2", which is slated for release in 2012. He tells MTV News, "There is no 'officially onboard.' There is no ship. They're writing it right now. We've been talking a lot about it, and it seems really exciting and fun."

"Precious: Based on the Novel PUSH by Sapphire" star Mo'Nique has offered fellow Oscar winner Sandra Bullock her support as the actress battles to save her marriage following an alleged cheating scandal. "The Blind Side" star has walked out on husband Jesse James following a tabloid expose about his reported relationship with a tattoo model and porn star and Mo'Nique insists she's there for Bullock if she ever needs to talk to someone who has no links to her marriage.

In an appeal to Bullock, who befriended Mo'Nique on the recent awards season circuit, via U.S. news show Entertainment Tonight, the "Precious" star says, "To my sweet sister Sandra, my prayers are with you. My prayers are also with your husband, baby. That is between the two of you and I hope ya'll make it work."

American TV actress Wendie Malick is bringing the story of 1950s animal rights activist Velma Bronn Johnston to the big screen in a movie documenting the campaigner's fight to end the slaughter of wild mustangs.

Malick, best known for her role on 1990s sitcom "Just Shoot Me!", has optioned Deanne Stillman's book "Mustang: The Saga of the Wild Horse in the American West" and will use the tome to detail Johnston's crusade, which earned her the nickname Wild Horse Annie. The actress will produce the film along with writer Stillman and Helen Bartlett, while Jenny Wingfield has been appointed to adapt the script, reports the New York Post.

Universal Pictures has released a new age-restricted trailer for "Get Him to the Greek" to tease audience with more fresh scenes from the movie. Following Jonah Hill who is sent to bring Russell Brand to Los Angeles within 72 hours, the snippet gives a look at how Jonah is tempted to enjoy a wild night life during his duty. Hollywood star Ben Affleck has established a new aid foundation to help women and children affected by rape and sexual violence in the troubled region of eastern Congo. The "Daredevil, The Movie" actor spent five days in the Central African nation last week, meeting with former child sex slaves and rape survivors, as well as male prisoners convicted of sex crimes, to gain a better understanding of the issues facing locals.

Now Affleck is using his new found knowledge to benefit the Eastern Congo Initiative, a foundation he launched on Monday, March 22, that will provide support and grants to those left traumatized by the country's years of conflict to help turn their lives around. The organization also aims to improve access to health care.

Dimension Films has officially given a green light to "Scream 4". According to Variety, the studio eyes a spring release for the movie, picking April 12, 2011 as the date when this thriller will be dropped in theaters across the U.S.

As the date has been set, filmmakers are expected to kick off principal photography for this fourth "Scream" movie within spring this year. Helmer of the first three 'Scream' flicks Wes Craven has previously announced that he is on board to return to the directing duty for the upcoming project and will set the cameras to roll out in May.

Actor Michael Vartan has thrown himself into planning his upcoming wedding - he's determined to have a say in every detail from picking the bridesmaid dresses to choosing the food. The "Monster-in-Law" star proposed to Lauren Skaar in early March and they are preparing to exchange vows in 2011.

And Vartan, who previously dated his "Alias" co-star Jennifer Garner, admits he's heavily involved in making sure the big day runs smoothly. He tells America's OK! magazine, "I feel wonderful! I feel very blessed. I feel like it's about God damned time I met someone special. MTV, which will air it on Sunday, March 28 at 7.30 P.M. ET has shared a sneak peek of the documentary which was filmed last month while the teen sensation was in France to promote his new album "My World 2.0".

From his hotel room, he spoke to a reporter about his first love. "It's weird when people say, 'You're only 15,' because I know I am only 15, but at the same time I think at any age you can experience love," Bieber said. "Whether you're 80 or 5, you're always gonna ...I don't know. There's a difference between love and being in love because you can love someone but not necessarily be in love. So I think I've loved girls, but I don't know - I haven't been in love before."

Tina Fey hopes Lindsay Lohan will make a triumphant return to the big screen following a string of box-office flops - because she showed such potential as a teenager filming "Mean Girls". Fey wrote and starred in the 2004 movie, in which Lohan played a naive school girl who becomes part of a ruthless girl gang.

The "30 Rock" star was convinced the 23-year-old actress was destined for a stellar movie career and was devastated to watch the actress' personal problems overshadow her professional life. Lohan, who has endured a string of legal problems and stints in rehab, went on to appear in a string of critically-panned films, including 2007 "Georgia Rule" and thriller "I Know Who Killed Me".

After wrapping "The Switch" which is planned to be released on August 20, Jennifer Aniston is already back acting in front of cameras to shoot her new movie "Just Go with It" on Monday, March 22. Pictured on Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills, California, the actress was shooting her part with Adam Sandler.

Donning a blue cardigan matched with jeans and pink scarf, Aniston talked to Sandler while walking side by side on a crowded street. At one point, the two looked very serious but the actor still showed funny face sometimes. During the break of the shooting, the comedian was seen playing with his daughter.

Rachel Weisz was so pleased with her recent return to the London stage she's vowed to "do a play every year" from now on. The British actress returned to her theater roots with a starring role in a recent production of "A Streetcar Named Desire", which won her a coveted Laurence Olivier Award for Best Actress on Sunday night, March 21.

And Weisz, who kick started her career in a student theater group during her time at England's Cambridge University, is adamant she will now try to leave time between movie roles to indulge her love of the stage. She says, "I'm greedy - I'd like to do film and theater. It was eight years since I'd last been on stage and it was just too long a gap."

Mariah Carey indeed has scrapped "Angels Advocate" which features remixed songs from her latest album "Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel". Instead, the singer is now looking forward to returning to studio and making new music for her next effort.

"We are looking to go possibly to another studio album or Christmas album," so her team confirmed to MariahDaily. "The decision hasn't been totally made yet. It's a creative process that cannot be rushed," the announcement continued.

"Chuck" says it blunt and honest that he loves Sarah but she ends up kissing Shaw. In "Chuck Vs. American Hero", Chuck has his pick of the best CIA agents for an undercover operation, but he has only one girl in mind for the job, Sarah. Casey, Morgan and Awesome team up to help Chuck win her back.

Speaking of the dynamic between Sarah and Shaw, exec producer Chris Fedak said, "I think as she's watched Chuck change this season - and that he seems to be changing from the guy that she fell in love with - [she realizes] Shaw is the guy that she should've been with in the first place." He added, "He's a guy who shares much of her professional experience. She's not a normal girl and Shaw's not a normal guy. They know that world and are obviously attracted to each other. Gearing up to release his new album on April 27, B.o.B has debuted an artwork to be featured on the front page of the upcoming record. The Atlanta rapper is featured in bended knees in front of an explosion, wearing a black and red jacket on top of white T-shirt combined with a pair of denims and sneakers.

"Dancing with the Stars" season 10 officially kicked off with the debut of Brooke Burke as the new co-host and the stars stepping out to the dance floor. The dance themes this week are Cha Cha Cha and Viennese Waltz.

Chad Ochocinco and Cheryl Burke were the first couple to take the floor, dancing the Cha Cha Cha. Len Goodman said the sportsman is a diamond in the rough, Bruno Tonioli said he has a huge talent but needs to practice more. Carrie Ann Inaba said he has a raw talent which should be sharpened. Former boxing champ Mike Tyson is facing a challenge from animal rights campaigners over his upcoming bird racing reality show after they branded the program "cruel". The retired sportsman has harbored a passion for pigeon racing for years and recently landed a TV deal to bring his hobby to the small screen in U.S. series "Taking on Tyson".

But the concept of the show has infuriated activists from the People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) and they are calling on the show to be halted before filming starts in Brooklyn, New York in April. PETA general counsel Jeffrey Kerr says, "It is inherently cruel. The birds often end up lost in storms, being injured, or just becoming so exhausted that they're unable to fly."

Lionsgate Films had a busy Monday as they held premieres for two of their movies on the same day. Beside "Kick-Ass" which had it's U.K. premiere, "Why Did I Get Married Too?" also had its red carpet event held on March 22. Not going overseas, the special screening for the comedy movie took place at the School of Visual Arts Theater in New York City.

Cheering up the night with her smile was Janet Jackson. The singer/actress, who reprises her role as Patrica in this "Why Did I Get Married?" sequel, looked beautiful in a dark blue satin blouse, matched with a black skirt. She came to the venue with the companion of her sister Rebbie Jackson.

Beside welcoming Justin Bieber as a guest, "The View" also had Miley Cyrus sitting down with the ladies on March 22. Coming to the talk show to do an interview, the Disney songstress said, "I have a record coming out in June."

"And that's going to be the last thing I do in music for a while," she continued before opening up about what she is going to do during the hiatus. "I just want to do films 'cause I like being someone else. My music is kind of like my diary. I'll always do that ... I just feel like the music industry isn't as positive as I'd like it to be."

Iggy Pop has vowed to quit crowd surfing following an unfortunate incident in New York which left him battered and bruised. The veteran rocker is well known for leaping into the audience at his gigs, but his signature stage dive went awry during a recent concert at Carnegie Hall.

The crowd parted and he landed flat on the floor - and The Stooges' star is adamant he won't be jumping off the stage again any time soon. He says, "When I landed it hurt and I made a mental note that Carnegie Hall would be a good place for my last stage dive. The audience were just like, 'What are you doing?' "

Karen Elson has debuted a music video in support of her new single "Stolen Roses". The model-turned-singer is seen sitting alone in a dimmed room in front of a fireplace, strumming her guitar and delivering "the haunted stories of traditional folk balladry."

"This is a song from my album 'The Ghost Who Walks'. I recorded this video version in Laurel Canyon in Los Angeles last month," Karen told Rolling Stone. "It's directed by Maximilla Lukacs and Sarah Sophie Flicker, two film makers who go by the name the Belles of the Black Diamond Field."

Reese Witherspoon has gone public with her new romance - the 34-year-old actress has been snapped holding hands with her talent agent boyfriend during a romantic weekend away to celebrate her birthday. The cheating scandal surrounding Sandra Bullock and her husband Jesse James could cost the couple custody of the reality TV star's young daughter - the girl's mother is taking the case back to court. The Hollywood couple was granted full custody of six-year-old Sunny in January after her mother, James' ex-wife Janine Lindemulder, was jailed for tax evasion.

Porn star Lindemulder has been released from prison and is currently living in a halfway house, and the recent scandal involving her ex-husband and his Oscar-winning wife has allegedly prompted her to refile court papers in a bid to win back custody of her daughter. Lindemulder will reportedly argue that the cheating scandal, which has seen James accused of having an affair behind Bullock's back, will create an unhealthy atmosphere for Sunny, according to TMZ. A court date has been set for June 14.

The search is finally over. After a long casting process, Marvel Studios has dropped their choice to Chris Evans and now the actor has just accepted the offer to play the lead role in "The First Avenger: Captain America". The news was first reported by The Hollywood Reporter (THR) who got the scoop from their sources, but both Evans' representatives and the studio would not comment on the report.

Soon after, however, Variety affirmed THR's claim, indicating that the deal is official. Variety additionally mentioned that the contract includes a point in which the "Fantastic Four" hunk will appear in at least three "Captain America" movies.

Dr. Conrad Murray stopped trying to revive Michael Jackson so he could hide drug vials, according to the bodyguard who called 911 on the day of the late superstar's death. The King of Pop suffered a fatal cardiac arrest in June 2009 and his personal physician is accused of administering the powerful anesthetic Propofol, which led to the singer's death.

He has pleaded not guilty to one count of involuntary manslaughter but security guard Alberto Alvarez alleges Murray stopped administering CPR on Jackson and told him to place drug vials into plastic bags, before putting them into another canvas bag, according to documents obtained by the Associated Press. Alvarez also claims Murray ordered the bodyguard to remove an IV tube from Jackson's leg, which allegedly contained a white milky substance.

Next week on "Gossip Girl", Chuck finds himself once again at odds with his uncle, Jack Bass (guest star Desmond Harrington). Eleanor puts Blair in charge of making sure her latest fashion show is a huge success with an important client.

Meanwhile, Rufus attempts to get Jenny back on track by volunteering to have her help with Eleanor's fashion show, but the opportunity takes a big turn for the worse when Jenny learns that Agnes (guest star Willa Holland) will be one of the models. Sandra Bullock has scrapped another "The Blind Side" premiere as she battles with her husband's alleged cheating scandal. The actress pulled out of this week's, March 23, London premiere of the film which earned her a Best Actress Oscar - and now she'll miss the screening in Berlin, Germany.

Bullock's life has been turned upside down by a tabloid expose suggesting her husband of almost five years had an affair with a tattooed model and porn star while the actress was on location shooting "The Blind Side". Last week, the Leigh Anne Touhy of the big screen project reportedly moved out of the Huntington Beach, California home she and her husband shared.

Avril Lavigne and Sum 41 rocker Deryck Whibley show it to the world that friendship goes beyond divorce. The former married couple was spotted hanging out together with two of their friends on Sunday, March 21 in West Hollywood.

The group had dinner first at Italian restaurant Madeo where they ordered burrata with tomato and mozzarella and penne. Hopping on the same car, they hit Tattoo Mania next on Sunset Boulevard at around 2 A.M. They left with bandages on. Avril, according to Radar Online, has the outline of a musical note tattooed but it is unclear what art Deryck chose.

"Kick-Ass" has brightened up the night in London, England on Monday, March 22 by holding a glamorous premiere. Taking place at the Empire Leicester Square, not only giant posters of the film were put in front of the building but also a red car which looks like the one ridden by Red Mist in the movie was parked there.

Playing superhero characters in the film, Aaron Johnson, Chloe Moretz as well as Christopher Mintz-Plasse all appeared to support the special screening. While Nicolas Cage was not pictured on the red carpet, the depicter of antagonist Frank D'Amico, Mark Strong, was not absent from the event.

Usher's music video for his new single "Lil Freak" has been clipped for sneak peek. It features the R&B singer and Nicki Minaj in a nightclub with Ciara also making a cameo. Filmed in Los Angeles, the video is directed by TAJ and sees the Young Money female rapper wearing two-tone wig.

On what to offer in the upcoming video, Nicki previously told MTV, "The video is freaky. And it's a great concept, a great story line." Doing the interview when she filmed her "Massive Attack" video in Lancaster, California, she added, "It felt just like one of the sequels to 'Saw'. It was dope."

"American Idol" producers are trying to lure younger audience by welcoming Disney stars Miley Cyrus, Joe Jonas and Demi Lovato to the show. Miley for one, is going to be the guest mentor for the Top 11 finalists this week and appear again on the result show to perform her hit "When I Look at You".

Miley was supposed to mentor in "teen idols" week before the theme was changed to "Billboard No. 1". This theme has been used previously with the contestants consulting Billboard magazine chart guru Fred Bronson. This season, Fred is back. The addition of Miley is also a good platform to promote her latest movie "The Last Song" which will hit U.S. theaters on March 31.

Following the arrival of her unreleased song "Styrofoam" which disses Britney Spears, Ke$ha apparently learned that she has made the "Circus" singer's fans mad and so she did an interview with "So You Think You Can Dance" Australia team to clarify that matter. "I didn't write that bit," the singer/songwriter said.

"That was when I was 15, and that's the reason why it's not on my record," she continued. "So I have to admit, now, I do regret ever even singing that, because I have mad respect for her but at the time I was 15 and I didn't have the balls to not sing it, so I mean that is why it's not on my record, cuz I really can't stand by it."
