The Black Crowes' Chris Robinson Welcomes Baby Girl

The Black Crowes rocker Chris Robinson is celebrating after the birth of a baby daughter on Saturday, December 26. The frontman and his wife Allison Bridges, who he married in earlier 2009, welcomed their first child together the day after Christmas at their Los Angeles home.

The musician and his wife named the newborn Cheyenne Genevieve. A spokesperson for Robinson tells People.com, "Chris Robinson and his new wife, Allison, have a healthy and beautiful baby girl."

Jimmy Page: Led Zeppelin's Future Depends on Robert Plant

Jimmy Page is insisting the future of Led Zeppelin depends on his former bandmate Robert Plant - because they can't continue the group without the lead singer. The legendary rockers sparked rumors of a reunion tour after Plant, Page and John Paul Jones reteamed for a benefit concert in London in December, 2007, but the singer has since rejected all offers to hit the road with his old pals.

Plant recently sparked speculation he may reform the band once more for iconic U.K. music festival Glastonbury next summer 2010, after admitting he'd been in talks with organizer Michael Eavis, but he has continually dismissed reports they will regroup.

James McAvoy has been tipped to play "James Bond" creator Ian Fleming in a new movie. The "Atonement" actor has reportedly been approached to star as the writer in a biopic about his colorful life, including his role in "World War II", his playboy lifestyle and his work as a journalist.

Although a source has denied McAvoy is "attached" to the movie, based on Andrew Lycett's biography of Fleming, Britain's The Independent newspaper reports a formal approach is thought to have been made to secure the Scottish star's involvement.

Jake Gyllenhaal Impressed by Prison's Writing Program

Jake Gyllenhaal visited a string of prisons while researching his role in "Brothers", and he was so impressive with the way young offenders are rehabilitated he keeps returning to help out with writing programs. The "Brokeback Mountain" star, who plays a former juvenile delinquent in the film, spent time with convicted drug smugglers and murderers in an effort to determine what life behind bars is like for a teenager.

And he was so impressed with one writing program used to educate wayward teens, he now frequents a number of prisons on a regular basis in a bid to boost interest. He tells Fox News, "My character (in Brothers) starts off in jail so I did a lot of research at LA County Jail, Lancaster State Prison and some juvenile state halls."

Cringing over his last stint on the show, he remembers, "They obviously hated me as I had to do it over and over again. I could actually feel the rolling of eyeballs. It was like, 'After take 57 Simon could we have a little more reality'. It was painful."

Rapper Plies left one young student stunned at a show in Atlanta, Georgia on Saturday, December 26 when he offered to pay her college tuition. The star was performing at Hot 107.9 Atlanta's Jingle Bash concert when he invited a young fan up onstage and told her he'd pay for her to attend the University of Miami.

According to Bossip.com, Plies was criticized for throwing $50,000 to fans during the radio station's Birthday Bash concert earlier this year.

Gaining a benefit from post-holiday online shoppers, Ke$ha has broken a record on Billboard chart. Her debut single "Tik Tok", which is currently sitting at No. 1 on Hot 100, has sold over 610,000 copies in digital purchase, becoming the most downloaded single in a one-week period for a female artist.

The record was previously held by Lady GaGa. Exactly one year ago, the dance queen set a new record with her single "Just Dance" which pulled in 419,000 copies in the digital sale.

Sam Worthington and Nicole Kidman have been confirmed to show up on the stage of the 67th Annual Golden Globe Awards. The sneak peek to the forthcoming episode of "Cougar Town" has come out, featuring Lisa Kudrow as a dermatologist. The clip previews a scene where Courteney Cox's Jules Cobb gets a suggestion from her. The episode is titled "Rhino Skin" and will be aired on January 6.

On the character that will be played by Lisa, executive Producer Bill Lawrence previously said, "She plays a dermatologist who is a horrible, horrible person, but [Cox] goes to her because she's the best. The [sight] of them playing people who dislike each other intensely was very funny for me to watch." In addition to Lisa, the show will also have Scott Foley coming in as another guest.

Just few days before "Chuck" is back on the small screen, Zachary Levi has dished on third season of the NBC's series. Being interviewed by Zap2it during the break of the shooting in early December, the actor said the new Intersect will be "a little fritzy and glitchy, which lends itself to both the action and the comedy."

Walt Disney Pictures has released a fresh trailer for "Toy Story 3", giving another preview to the new adventure of Woody, Buzz and other members of the toy gang when they are left by their owner Andy. Though shorter than the previously released trailer, the new video has managed to share many never-before-seen scenes during the last twenty seconds.

As Andy is preparing to depart for college, his toys are going to be put in the attic. However, they are accidentally thrown away and are picked up by the garbage men. The toy crew then find themselves at a local day-care center, where they must try to survive the playful but careless pre-school children. There, they begin their new adventure to find a new home.

Paris Hilton Sued for Stealing Shoe Design

Paris Hilton's shoe collection will lead her to enter into a court. The hotel heiress is being sued by a shoe company named Gwyneth Shoes, which accuses her of stealing their design, a heart-shaped pad on the insole, for her own fashion line. The company claims they filed to patent the heart cushion idea in 2007, few months before Paris launched her own brand of shoes in February 2008.

According to TMZ, Gwyneth Shoes has filed the lawsuit documents last week in the United States District Court for the Western District of Washington, which is located in Seattle. The company is suing for trademark and patent infringement and demands Paris to hand over every pair of the allegedly "infringing" shoes.

'24' Star Carly Pope Released From Hospital With Broken Bones After Carjacking

Carly Pope and her actor brother Kris Pope were taken to the hospital for injuries and have been released from the facility. "We're recovering, but we're pretty banged up," Kris told The Canadian Press. "Carly's got a couple of broken vertebrae, and I've got a broken wrist, possibly a broken ankle and a smashed up face."

Carly was rushed to hospital after her car was smashed into a building. Before the accident happened, a man jumped onto the hood of the "24" star's BMW which was driven by Kris who immediately got out of the vehicle to check out the situation. But, when he was out of the car, the stranger jumped into the driver's seat and tried to drive away. The carjacker crashed into five other cars before hitting the CBC building.

Michael Jackson's 'Thriller' Becomes National Treasure in U.S. History

Michael Jackson's classic "Thriller" video will go down in U.S. history as a national treasure - the 1983 promo is set to be inducted into the National Film Registry of the Library of Congress. The work of the late King of Pop is the first music video to make it into the archives, which preserves original copies of classic film, TV and other recordings at the Packard Campus of the National Audio-Visual Conservation Center near Culpeper, Virginia.

However, Library officials will have to battle to obtain a copy of the horror video for preservation because it's currently the subject of a lawsuit between music video director John Landis and the tragic star's estate. Landis, who directed and co-wrote the "Thriller" script, filed suit against Jackson in January 2009, claiming he's owed royalties for his work on the video.

New Images From 'The Last Airbender' and 'Rapunzel' Unveiled

New pictures from Paramount Pictures' "The Last Airbender" have been found online. Two of the images that were scanned from Empire magazine give a look at Noah Ringer's Aang in his action, while the other photo shows director M. Night Shyamalan on the set of the movie.

"The Last Airbender" is a live-action film version of Nickelodeon's animated series of the same name. The film follows Aang and is set in a world where human civilization is divided into four nations: Water, Earth, Air and Fire. Teaming up with Waterbender named Katara and her brother Sokka, Aang proceeds on a perilous journey to restore balance to their war-torn world. The movie is set to hit U.S. theaters on July 2, 2010.

Marion Cotillard and Quentin Tarantino to Be Awarded Palm Springs Top Honors

French actress Marion Cotillard and director Quentin Tarantino are to receive the top honors at the upcoming Palm Springs Film Festival in California. Cotillard, who was previously feted at the event in 2008 for her role in "La Vie En Rose", will take home the best actress prize for her performance in movie-musical "Nine". Tarantino will be handed the Sonny Bono Visionary Award, named after the festival's founder, for his contribution to film.

A statement from festival chairman Harold Matzner reads, "Following a distinguished career in French cinema, Marion Cotillard has firmly established herself as a major actress in American films. Her performance in Rob Marshall's Nine is nothing short of breathtaking. Quentin Tarantino is one of the most gifted, iconoclastic film-makers of his generation, and with "Inglourious Basterds", he's created a hugely entertaining, revisionist take on history as it might have been."

Comedienne-turned-talk show host Ellen DeGeneres and U.S. style guru Tim Gunn have been named PETA's Woman and Man of the Year. The two celebrities scored the honors for their "exceptional efforts to place animal rights issues before a large audience".

"Vegan" DeGeneres used every opportunity on her show and online to promote a meat-free diet in 2009 and she also used her fame to highlight a cruelty-free lifestyle. "Project Runway" host Gunn, the creative director at fur-free Liz Claiborne Inc., narrated PETA's video Fashion Victims, which exposes the cruelty of the fur trade and details how snakes used for clothing are sometimes nailed to trees and have their bodies cut open with knives before they are skinned.
