'Fast and Furious' Speeds Up World Premiere in L.A.

"Fast and Furious" won't be hitting U.S. theaters until April 3, but Universal Pictures have held a special screening event to mark the action movie's world premiere. On Thursday, March 12, the studio rolled down red carpet in front of Gibson Amphitheatre in Los Angeles to welcome cast, crew and celebrity guests.

All four of the film's stars, Paul Walker, Vin Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez and Jordana Brewster were present on the special night. On the red carpet, they were joined by co-star Gal Gadot, director Justin Lin, writer Chris Morgan, and producers Michael Fottrell and Neal H. Moritz.

Selena Gomez Looks Up to Britney Spears

A teen idol herself, Selena Gomez admits to look up to Britney Spears as one of her role models. In an interview with Latina magazine for its April issue, she explains, "In a way, Britney can be someone to look up to. She was constantly being looked at and picked on."

Comparing herself to the pop superstar, Selena says she has the similar experience with Britney. "It's starting to happen to me. At the moment, I don't have anything good they can pick on me with, but they'll find something. Maybe I can be as strong," she gushes about her personality.

Roger Federer and Miroslava Vavrinec Expecting Their First Child This Summer

Feeling excited about his girlfriend Miroslava Vavrinec's pregnancy, Roger Federer has announced in a post on his official site that he and Vavrinec will welcome the baby later this summer. The infant will be the pair's first child.

"Mirka and I are excited to let you know that we will be parents this summer! Mirka is pregnant and we are so happy to be starting a family together," so read the professional tennis player's post. "This is a dream come true for us. We love children and we are looking forward to being parents for the first time. Mirka is feeling great and everything is going well." At the end of his post, Federer wrote, "Speak soon and thanks for all your continued support!" The due date and sex of their upcoming baby are not disclosed though.

There is a chance that "Slumdog Millionaire" beauty, Freida Pinto, ends up being the new Bond girl in "Bond 23". The Sun recently broke out that executive producer Barbara Broccoli is eager to have the 24-year-old joining the cast of the next installment for the 007 agent movie series, and that Pinto has been invited to a screen test.

Giving more info on the matter, the trade quoted a source who explained that the actress has caught the producers' attention since "Quantum of Solace" casting. "Freida came to the attention of the Bond team when they were casting Quantum of Solace," the source noted. "She was too young at the time to have a part as a love interest for a secret agent. But she has blossomed into an incredibly stunning young woman and would look perfect on Daniel Craig's arm."

Musical trio Jonas Brothers have set up a new phone number which enables them to keep in touch with their fans. The new number, (818) 748-8887, is posted on their MySpace. It is operated through SayNow.com, which is described as a service where artists can connect with fans through a special phone number assigned to them.

The brothers' new phone number allows fans to call in and leave a message for either Joe Jonas, Kevin Jonas or Nick Jonas. The threesome will in response reply the call and message.

'Journey to the Center of the Earth' Gets a Sequel Treatment

It's been a long time coming, but "Journey to the Center of the Earth Sequel", a second "Journey to the Center of the Earth 3D" film, is indeed being prepared. The sequel will be developed once again by New Line Cinema, which will also co-finance the project alongside Walden Media.

Instead of going to explore Atlantis, like what has been suggested earlier, "Journey Sequel" is based on Richard Outten's script "Mysterious Travels: The Lost Map of Treasure Island". It will follow professor Trevor Anderson and his nephew as they embark on an adventurous journey to a mysterious island, which has become the subject of three classic novels, one in particular is Jules Verne's "Mysterious Island".

Katy Perry Snapped Kissing Joel David Moore for 'Waking Up in Vegas' Music Video

Pictures from the shooting location of Katy Perry's "Waking Up in Vegas" music video have been outed, giving a look at the singer locking lips with her love interest played by "Avatar" actor Joel David Moore. Several of the photos show them standing close to each other in a glass booth and being showered with money, while the others capture her dressing as a showgirl.

Katy has filmed "Waking Up in Vegas" music video in the valet at the Palms and a Sky Villa in the Fantasy Tower on Tuesday, March 10. She is reportedly arranged to have a number of local entertainers to join her during the video shot. Unfortunately, no release date has been set for the video.

It's another showdown between Castiel and Alastair and the former seeks the assistance of Dean in getting an information out of the latter. In the next "Supernatural", Angels are found dead, murdered by someone who uses a stolen Lucifer sword. Castiel and Uriel suspect that Alastair is behind all of this.

The angels have captured Alastair and ask Dean to use the torturing skills he learned in Hell to extract information from him so they can stop the murders. Sam is concerned Dean can't handle the job but Dean agrees to do it. However, when Alastair reveals some shocking information, Dean's world is shattered.

Seen sporting a ring on her engagement finger, Helen Hunt has fueled rumors claiming she has been engaged to longtime partner Matthew Carnahan. The couple was holding hands during a romantic walk in Santa Monica, California, on Wednesday, March 11, when Hunt was snapped flaunting the reported diamond sparkler.

Neither Hunt nor Carnahan has denied or verified the engagement speculation. Her publicist also hasn't returned requests for comment regarding the issue.

Gwyneth Paltrow Starts 'Iron Man 2' Shooting Late March

While Marvel Studios have announced that the principal photography of "Iron Man 2" will start in April, Gwyneth Paltrow teases that the filming may begin ahead of schedule. In the March edition of GOOP Newsletter released on March 12, the 36-year-old revealed that she is two weeks away from joining director Jon Favreau to film the sequel.

"I can't wait to start Iron Man 2 in two weeks and hang out with him every day," so Paltrow shared when discussing about Favreau's pick for his five favorite DVD rentals. In addition to the time she joins the sequel, the Oscar-winning actress also wrote about how she came to know the director, recalling "Jon Favreau and I met when we both had bit parts in Dorothy Parker and the Vicious Circle about 15 years ago."

47-year-old movie star George Clooney has a crush on young rising actress Freida Pinto, who has become a household name after starring in "Slumdog Millionaire." "George hasn't met her, but he asked his people to get her number," a source tells Star Magazine's March 23 issue. "He wants to invite her to L.A. for a date."

It is not yet known if Clooney has obtained Pinto's number. On the thing that makes him admiring the Indian movie beauty also hasn't been disclosed.

Months of speculation and several denials after, "Grey's Anatomy" finally brings the story of Izzie's unfortunate fate. George notices something is wrong with Izzie while the she herself, does her best to keep her medical record a secret.

This has been speculated as an exit story for Katherine Heigl, who in February was rumored leaving the show to move on. Words have been circulating now that Izzie actually suffers from cancer. Co-star Justin Chambers aka Alex also confirmed this to TV Guide, saying "Izzie has cancer, so I'm there to support her. I would expect Alex to shut down a little bit if something awful happens to Izzie, but these are opportunities to see his chivalrous side and his true love for her, so there should be some interesting stuff coming up."

Juan Antonio Bayona Is Not Official 'Eclipse' Director

Contrary to earlier report, Summit Entertainment have not yet signed director Juan Antonio Bayona to helm "The Twilight Saga's Eclipse". Erik Feig, the studio's president of production, has clarified the issue to Patrick Goldstein of Los Angeles Times, saying "The 'Eclipse' directing job hasn't been offered to Juan Antonio or anyone else."

"We've met with three or four talented filmmakers and we'll be meeting with three or four more other candidates before we make any decision. No one has been offered the job," the studio's topper further insisted. On the Bayona report ran by Dave McNary of Variety and Nikki Finke of Deadline Hollywood Daily, Feig commented, "Nikki never called Summit or any of the producers, and Variety ran it off her blog without calling us either, which I find doubly irresponsible."

Cassie's New Song 'Must Be Love' Feat. P. Diddy

A brand new song called "Must Be Love" performed by Cassie featuring P. Diddy has been revealed. Songwriting and production credits for the track are yet to be disclosed. Words are, it may end up being listed in her upcoming second studio album.

Along with audio stream of "Must Be Love", a video footage showing Diddy mixing the track in studio with Cassie has also arrived. At the end of the video, Cassie says, "I just want to say thank you to everybody. I hope you like our record. Definitely an honor to be on, what Puff is calling 'Bad Boy Classic'."

British pop singer Lily Allen, who is no stranger to controversy, has been photographed kicking and punching a paparazzo during an outing in London on Thursday, March 12. Lily apparently got mad at the male paparazzo after he accidentally drove into the back of her ride while he was chasing her down a London road in a bid to get her snaps.

Repeatedly kicking, punching, and screaming at the photographer, Lily soon thereafter was pulled away by her bodyguard. Eventually getting back to her car, Lily and her entourage then headed to a recording studio. Upon arriving at the scene, the songstress got mad at several other photographers and managed to throw a water bottle at one of them.

Clark and Tess are going for a little flight in the next episode of "Smallville". Apt to its title, "Turbulence", the episode will reveal a bumpy flight which is deliberately orchestrated by Tess in an effort to force Clark to reveal his powers.

"It's me and Clark," Cassidy Freeman who plays Tess dished out on the episode to E! Online. "I approach him in a very different way than Lex did. I see Clark as an opportunity for security in a way that I've never felt before. I, like everybody else, need a hero, and I'm looking to Clark for that."

Three Fresh 'Fast and Furious' Clips Available

In addition to the two TV spots released earlier, "Fast and Furious" has got three brand new clips for viewing pleasure. One of the clips comes from MTV, another one is posted at Trailer Addict, and the other is uncovered by IGN. The Trailer Addict clip serves as a continuation to the one from MTV, while the IGN's gives out snippet at a car chase sequence.

Both of the MTV's and Trailer Addict's exhibit the scene in which Vin Diesel's Dom Toretto and Paul Walker's Brian O'Conner are racing against each other and against several other street car racers. While the MTV's displays the race from the start line, the Trailer Addict's shows the footage where Brian almost crashes into a car that Dom tricks into driving off the side of a bridge.

Live-Action 'Wonder Woman' Ready to Move Ahead

"Wonder Woman" could be back on track following a regime change at Silver Pictures. Reporting on the matter was IESB, which claimed sources in the Burbank studios confirmed that "there is quite a bit of movement" on the live-action film front with Rogue Pictures co-president Andrew Roma is in charge of production.

IESB also reported that Warner Bros. and Silver Pictures are in the early stages, but are eager to get started on the movie. The trade further noted that sources mentioned Warner Bros. are looking for new writers to take on the script for the projects and have been taking pitches in the last few weeks. So far, none of the reports has been confirmed or denied.

Video: George Clooney Returns to 'ER' as Dr. Ross

NBC may have purposely left out George Clooney's return as Dr. Doug Ross in its last week's preview of "ER", but the actor has indeed popped his head in the March 12 episode as expected. The doctor who quit from the Chicago hospital in 1999, now works in a new ER in Seattle with his wife, Nurse Carol Hathaway (Julianna Margulies).

While in Seattle, Ross heard the news of someone who needs a kidney transplantation in Chicago. Together with Carol, he persuades a grandmother, played by Susan Sarandon, to donate the kidney of her ailing grandson.

Carlos Santana, Daddy Yankee to Be Honored at 2009 Billboard Latin Music Awards

Mexican rock musician/guitarist Carlos Santana and Puerto Rican reggaeton recording artist Daddy Yankee are among those to be honored at this year's Billboard Latin Music Awards. The two musicians are confirmed to be handed with special discretionary awards by Billboard.

Carlos, who is the founder of band Santana, will be given Lifetime Achievement Award for his contributions in expanding the reach of Latin music worldwide. And, Daddy will receive Spirit of Hope Award for his humanitarian work of rehabilitating youthful offenders and providing basic services to underprivileged youth through his Corazon Guerrero Foundation.

Jonas Brothers Announcing Clothing Line for Tween Girls

Popular teen band Jonas Brothers apparently are not willing to slow down as they have just announced plan to launch a clothing line aimed for tween girls. The line is called "Jonas" and its fashion collections are made based on the outfits worn by Kevin Jonas, Joe Jonas, and Nick Jonas on their upcoming Disney Channel series "J.O.N.A.S!", which is slated for May airing.

"Jonas" clothing line will be launched through Disney Consumer Products. It will be made available for purchase at retailers such as Wal-Mart, Kmart, Sears and J.C. Penney in time for back-to-school shopping and will retail from $9.99 to $24.99.

Clips From the Premiere of NBC's New Drama 'Kings'

An exploration to the struggle of David Vs. Goliath, "Kings" invade the NBC schedule this Sunday, March 15 in a two-hour premiere. Critics have been giving mixed reviews for the new series, with San Francisco Chronicle calling it "compelling and odd" and USA Today deeming it "doesn't quite work and probably won't last". The clips from the pilot, "Goliath", are available for judgement.

The show is set in a modern metropolis under siege, where the fighting has gone on for too long and cost far too many lives. King Silas Benjamin (played by Ian McShane) is the well-entrenched king of Gilboa, whose flag bears a divine butterfly symbol. Gilboa has its capital in Shiloh, a clean new city that is unspoiled by time or litter. Silas must deal with the tensions rising between Gilboa and neighboring nation Gath.

Guitarist/lead vocalist of The White Stripes, Jack White, has formed a new band called The Dead Weather. "This band is the first project to come out of this new system, which is our new studio in town and this building," he said.

Jack debuted his new band at a private party in Nashville, Tennessee taking place on Wednesday, March 11 at the headquarters of the Third Man Records. Musicians seen attending the party included fellow singers Sheryl Crow and Martina McBride as well as The White Stripes' member Meg White.

Radiohead's Thom Yorke Tells Miley Cyrus to 'Grow Up'

Thom Yorke, the lead singer of band Radiohead, breaks his silence on Miley Cyrus' disappointment for being dissed by the music act during the 51st annual Grammy Awards back on February 8, suggesting the teen sensation to "grow up". "When Miley grows up, she'll learn not to have such a sense of entitlement," the male musician tells US Weekly.

Earlier this month, Miley told the Johnjay & Rich morning radio show that she requested a meeting with Radiohead, which is her favourite band, when she discovered their dressing room was four rooms away from hers during the awards gala. Unfortunately for her, Yorke politely declined because he and his band mates were preparing themselves their performance at the event.

'Orphan' Welcomes First Trailer

What if you adopted a child who seems to be perfect addition to your family but then turns to be your worst nightmare? In the newly-released trailer of "Orphan", Kate and John are seen adopting a seemingly angelic nine-year-old girl named Esther from an orphanage. But, as the trailer which is first posted at MySpace moves forth, it is unraveled that there is something really off about her.

Marking the return of director Jaume Collet-Sera to the horror thriller genre, "Orphan" follows Kate and John who upon tragic loss of their unborn child decided to adopt another child. Drawn to a young girl named Esther at the local orphanage, they decide to welcome her into their home. However, almost as soon as she joins the family strange things begin to take place, leading Kate to believe the 9-year-old is not nearly as innocent as she claims to be.

'Bones' 4.17 Preview: High School Pregnancy Is a Trend

In the next "Bones", Brennan and Booth are visiting the place where secrets, deception and scandal occur, high school. When a petrified human body is found buried in a mound of salt in a city de-icing truck, Booth and Brennan are on the case.

They discover the victim, Ashley, was a 16-year-old high school volleyball player who had been missing for three weeks. When the team discovers Ashley was pregnant at the time of her death, they are shocked to find that nearly half of her volleyball team is either pregnant or already has a baby, and the press reports an alleged "pregnancy pact."

She paired them up with a cream-colored, lacy tea-length dress.

As for Adams, the singer-songwriter wore tight skinny jeans, a t-shirt with sport coat and sneakers. He and Moore exchanged silver rings purchased from a local jeweler. 'Spider-Man 4' Gets Release Date

It is official, "Spider-Man 4" will be blasting into theaters in 2011. Though busy shifting the release date of their three upcoming movies, "Thor", "The First Avenger: Captain America" and "The Avengers", Marvel Studios confirmed on March 12 that Sony Pictures have set the release date for this fourth installment of the web-slinging superhero movie.

Taking the vacant slot left by "Captain America", "Spider-Man 4" is to see U.S. theaters on May 6, 2011. With the 2011 slate placing, this Sam Raimi-directed movie has been put on the same year "Captain America" and "Thor" hit the U.S. theaters.

The show, which has not yet had a release date target, will revolve around a group of young models living the upbeat life of New York City together. Mischa herself is not a stranger to high fashion for she had modeled for several brands such as BeBe, Calvin Klein and JC.

'Thor', 'Captain America' and 'The Avengers' Delayed

Apparently, movie lovers have to wait longer for "Thor", "The First Avenger: Captain America" and "The Avengers". In an official announcement made on Thursday, March 12, Marvel Entertainment and Marvel Studios revealed that they have adjusted release pipeline for "Captain America", "Thor" and "Avengers".

"Captain America", which has been set earlier to hit the U.S. big screen on May 6, 2011, is now scheduled for July 22, 2011 release. While the patriotic hero film is pushed back few weeks, "Thor" and "Avengers" will be released nearly a year later than their original schedules. "Thor" has been moved from July 16, 2010 to June 17, 2011, whereas "Avengers" is set for May 4, 2012 instead of July 15, 2011 release.

Near the end, the video shows her in a 50s style wig, fitted pink top and white skirt, playing a sweet housewife. Walking out of the house, she is joined by two "Barbie" type kids and a "Ken Doll" husband, greeting paparazzi with a pie on her right hand.
