Dakota Fanning Officially Joins 'The Twilight Saga's New Moon'

Dakota Fanning's involvement in "The Twilight Saga's New Moon" has reportedly been made official. According to Twilighters Anonymous, Summit Entertainment have announced via e-mail to Twilight the Movie subscribers that the 15-year-old has joined the "New Moon" cast ensemble as the Volturi member, Jane.

"Dakota Fanning joins New Moon," so read the headline of the Summit's announcement. It further continued to read, "Acclaimed actress Dakota Fanning has officially joined the cast. And will play fan favorite Jane in The Twilight Saga: New Moon." Whether this report is true or not is yet to be proven as the studio has yet to come up with a public statement of the matter.

'CSI' and 'Battlestar Galactica' Clash on April 16 Episode

"CSI: Crime Scene Investigation" and "Battlestar Galactica" merge has been reported by Chicago Tribune in late February, but new details confirming the sort-of-crossover have just been unearthed. The April 16 episode of "CSI" will have "a bit of 'Battlestar Galactica' vibe to it," CSI executive producer Naren Shankar confirmed.

"It's about a murder at a science fiction convention," he said further. "Hodges (Wallace Langham) and Wendy (Liz Vassey) re-enacting scenes from a campy - and entirely fictional - 1960's era sci-fi TV show."

Making no attempt to hide her admiration for Barack Obama, Julia Roberts admits not only she has a crush for the 44th and the first African-American president of United States, but also for his wife Michelle Obama and their two daughters; Malia and Sasha. "I have such the White House crush happening right now for all four of the Obamas!" she says in an interview with "The Insider" aired Friday, March 6.

Julia goes on singing her praise for Michelle, stating "She seems to be a person who is really authentic and shows who she really is." Expressing her feeling towards the first couple in America, in fact, isn't something new for Julia. She previously expressed her intention to have a dinner date with them and their young daughters.

Kristen Stewart Crosses Fingers for Fourth 'Twilight' Movie

About to join the production of "The Twilight Saga's New Moon", Kristen Stewart reveals that she is up for a fourth "Twilight" installment, "Breaking Dawn". While setting things straight about the off-screen romance speculations between her and co-star Robert Pattinson to E! Online's Marc Malkin, the 18-year-old reveals her hope of Stephenie Meyer's fourth novel being brought to big screen.

"We all really hope there is going to be a number four," the Jodie Foster's on-screen daughter in "Panic Room" said in chat in a suite at L.A.'s Sofitel hotel Thursday, March 5. She further pointed out on why she believes the fourth film should be developed, saying "I'm pretty confident that the fans aren't going to all of a sudden lose interest. The only case that a fourth one wouldn't be made is if all of a sudden people stopped caring, and I really don't think that's going to happen."

Kelly Clarkson, Kanye West to Sing at 'American Idol'

singer Kelly Clarkson and rapper Kanye West have both been confirmed to perform at "American Idol". The two musicians will perform during the result show of the FOX's reality singing competition on Wednesday, March 11.

Clarkson is scheduled to sing "My Life Would Suck Without You", a new material in her newly-released album "All I Ever Wanted". Meanwhile, West is set to deliver "Heartless", one of his singles in his latest effort "808's & Heartbreak".

Tentatively Called 'Lily', 'Gossip Girl' Spin-Off Cast Lily's Parents

The spin-off to "Gossip Girl" is shaping up fast with the casting of Lily Rhodes' parents. Cynthia Watros who played the role of Libby in "Lost" is reportedly close to signing a deal as the mother Celia 'CeCe' Rhodes, while Andrew McCarthy who plays Joe Bennett in "Lipstick Jungle" will play her husband, Rick.

CeCe's character has appeared on "Gossip Girl" played by actress Caroline Lagerfelt. In the spin-off, she will fall out with her daughters, Carol and Lily who both move out of the house to live in the Valley. Rick, meanwhile is mentioned as a music company executive.

Required to maintain a svelte figure due to her career as a supermodel, Helena Christensen surprisingly admits that she eats a lot, telling the April issue of the U.K. edition of InStyle magazine, "I eat like a pig." Detailing on her eating habit, she confesses, "I eat more than anyone I know. I'm obsessed! [Food] takes up about 75 percent of my brain."

As for how she keeps her body in shape with such eating obsession, she admits, "I'm super lucky with my metabolism." Nevertheless, "I have to be realistic - that might not always be the situation. That's why I chose really intense training," the beauty adds.

U2 to Play 'Kiss to the Future' for Upcoming World Tour

U2's upcoming world tour to support their latest effort "No Line on the Horizon" is revealed to pick up "Kiss to the Future" as its name. Though the band claim on their official website that tour dates of their upcoming world tour will be announced on March 9, Billboard has come with info suggesting the tour will be kicked off in Barcelona on June 30.

"We're very excited about the idea to go on the road with this album," guitarist/backing vocalist David "The Edge" Howell Evans shared his thought concerning the tour. "It's an album that I think is going to translate so well to the live context. The songs we've tried in rehearsal are sounding fantastic, so that's got everyone really fired up."

Rihanna Met Domestic-Abuse Counselor Shortly After Chris Brown's Attack

A few more details in relation to Chris Brown's attack on Rihanna last month have been uncovered, one of which is the fact that Rihanna met with an L.A. County domestic-abuse counselor within 24 hours after the incident. It is not known though if the Barbadian singer is still seeking for counseling as a result of the assault.

Moreover, it has also been revealed in an exclusive report by E! News that soon after the LAPD arrived at the crime scene located on a street in Los Angeles' Tony Hancock Park neighborhood, where Chris left her alone, Rihanna borrowed a police officer's cell phone to call her manager, personal assistant and two other people to inform them of what had happened to her. Unfortunately, all her calls went to voice mail, law-enforcement sources claim. "[Rihanna's friends and colleagues] didn't pick up because no one recognized the numbers," another source adds.

'Watchmen' Off to a Decent Box Office Start

"Watchmen" has started its run to the North American box office's top slot early Friday, March 6. Opening at 1,595 theaters across the country, the Zack Snyder-directed live-action movie was off to a decent-but-not-spectacular start with an estimated $4.6 million from its Friday midnight screenings, according to Media By Numbers.

With the nearly $5 million bow, the R-rated film has doubled the midnight box office gross of another Snyder's R-rated movie, "300", which hauled in $2.5 million in 2007. Still, it was far from the $18.5 million record-breaking midnight sales of "The Dark Knight", and even came up short from "Twilight" $7 million earning.

Preview of 'Battlestar Galactica' Finale Part 1

First part of the series finale of "Battlestar Galactica" has been given a preview. In "Daybreak: Part 1", Adama announces that the mission will be launched and nobody is in any obligation to join it, but it's likely to be a one-way trip.

The first part will air March 13 and the second one which will provide as the end of the series, follows the next week. A TV movie called "The Plan" has been prepared for a two-hour telecast right after the finale. It will chronicle on what happen on board the Cylon ships before and after the attack.

'Supernatural' Clip: Sam and Dean Ripped Off Their Souls

A short clip taken from the upcoming episode of "Supernatural" is released by The CW. It takes on the Winchester boys' visit to Pamela where their souls are ripped off from the body in order to walk on the spiritual world.

Sam and Dean investigate a small town where people are cheating death. They discover the Reapers have gone missing so they turn to Pamela for help. She sends them into the spiritual world to find answers and they come face to face with Alastair, who has been kidnapping all the Reapers in order to break another seal.

'The Green Hornet' Starts Filming in Summer

A few interesting tidbits about "The Green Hornet", including the start of shooting date, have been brought forth by one of its screenwriters, Seth Rogen. Giving updates to the superhero movie while promoting "Monsters vs. Aliens" in Australia, the co-writer of "Superbad" revealed during his "The Jono & Dano Show" appearance that the movie will start filming in June.

Beside the shooting date, the 26-year-old actor also stated that while the film will be an origin story, it won't be one in the traditional sense, further promising that "it'll be unlike every other superhero film out there." Noting that the story will highlight on the relationship between Kato and Britt Reid a.k.a. Green Hornet, he also explained that the movie will see his Green Hornet as just a normal guy, whereas Stephen Chow's Kato as the one who does all the superhero stuff.

Jonas Brothers are heading up to the Bahamas in mid March for a live appearance in the Atlantis as a precursor to their upcoming 2009 world tour. Claiming that the Bahamas is "one of [their] favorite vacation spots," the trio will be returning to the country in April and May for other performances.

"We're going to one of our favorite places in the world, the Atlantis in the Bahamas. It's amazing trip you can go with your family to come to the show," Kevin Jonas announces in a video message. Joe Jonas adds, "We're gonna be there March fourteenth." Finally, Nick Jonas says, "We love you guys. Thanks for everything and we hope we're seeing you very soon."

Contrary to a report by Latina.com which claims she names her newborn son Ickitt, M.I.A. denies she picks the name for her baby boy. Taking to her MySpace blog on Friday, March 2 to deny the claim, the British singer-songwriter insisted, "My baby is not called Ickitt, Pickit or Lickit thank you very much to all the Hollywood press."

"He's a baby, he don't need press!", she continued. "I didn't release the baby name because I didn't think it was news!!!! But I will be back with something newsworthy soon, till then go pick on Apple, Satchel and Moon Unit. Lots of love stickit!!" added M.I.A. when referring to the long list of unusual celebrity baby names in recent years.

Villain roles keep pouring in for Mickey Rourke following his brilliant performance in "The Wrestler" with the speculation that he has been offered a baddie role in "Rambo V: The Savage Hunt". The report of the 56-year-old being linked to the part came after he was rumored to portray either Crimson Dynamo or Whiplash in "Iron Man 2".

Of it, The Sun reported that the Marv of "Sin City" have met up with "Rambo" star Sylvester Stallone at the Four Seasons Hotel in Los Angeles for the part. "It was weird seeing two movie tough guys sipping tea on the veranda," a source told the trade. "They chatted about the Oscars then Sly begged Mickey to sign for Rambo V. Mickey said he was up for it."

'Twilight' DVD Unleashes Two Deleted Scenes

Access Hollywood has got a hold on two exclusive "Twilight" deleted scenes. Both of the deleted scenes, one is entitled "Danger in the Woods" and the other is called "Forbidden Love Bite", run less than a minute long and unveil scenes where two of its main characters, Robert Pattinson's Edward Cullen and Kristen Stewart's Bella, are having a conversation while walking in the woods.

The "Danger in the Woods" footage displays the time Edward warns Bella that there are far more dangerous things in the woods than him. The "Forbidden Love Bite" scene, in the meantime, shows Bella saying to Edward that maybe her number was up before allowing Edward to get a taste of her blood. These two deleted scenes will be included in the vampire drama's DVD.

Chris Brown Agrees to Pay Rihanna 10 Million Dollars for Possible Future Assault

Having his singing career in jeopardy ever since he was accused to have assaulted Rihanna during a heated argument on February 8, Chris Brown reportedly has scored a deal with the female R 'n' B singer, in which it is stated that he agrees to pay her "as much as $10 million" and possibly more "if he as much as squeezes her arm the wrong way." Report on the deal that the twosome has scored was made public by Chicago Sun-Times on Friday, March 6.

Beside the cash, part of the deal also includes Chris and Rihanna's plan to co-author a book about abuse. The pair, moreover, agrees to appear together at a number of talk shows to speak directly to their fans and the general public about abusive behavior.

A music video aimed to support a song called "Here Comes Goodbye" from Rascal Flatts has been available to watch. It captures a girl mourning over her father's death. When she cries miserably near his grave, flashback scenes showing the time she spent her days through the winter with him are shared.

"Here Comes Goodbye" is a ballad song written by Clint Lagerberg along with Chris Sligh, the finalist of 2007 "American Idol". The track appears as the first single from Rascal Flatts' upcoming sixth major studio album "Unstoppable", due for U.S. release on April 7.

New 'Up' Trailer Introduces Talking Dog and Villain

Disney/Pixar have released a full-length trailer for their forthcoming animation "Up". Premiered at Yahoo! Movies, the new promo video for this CG-adventure puts out many fresh footage from the scene in which Carl and Russell first meet Dug the talking dog to the first shot of villain Charles Muntz.

The trailer opens with a clip displaying the time Russell is offering Carl his assistance. Though Carl consistently rejects any of Russell's offer, Russell is not about to give up that easily. As the trailer continues, real glimpses of the adventures both Carl and Russell experience are finally shared, including scenes where their house gets caught in a lighting storm and they encounter a gigantic rainbow colored bird in a jungle.

Rumors have been swirling on the net, claiming Robert Pattinson and Natalie Portman are hot new items. The dating speculation emerges only days after the "Twilight" leading actor publicly pronounced his admiration for the movie beauty, admitting to reporters he is really fascinated by her grace and beauty.

No evidence has been made public on the twosome's togetherness, but according to Now Magazine Robert and Natalie have been keeping in touch following their first meeting at a pre-Oscars party last month. During the bash, Robert "seemed to be enjoying every minute of it", a source claimed, adding that Natalie "dominated his attention for most of the evening."
