'Watchmen' Finished Cut Is Gruesome and Brutal

Someone has watched the final cut of the highly-anticipated "Watchmen" at a screening in Los Angeles and Latino Review has got the screening reports. Listing the eleven important things seen in the action fantasy movie, Latino Review's reader Bentley Mustafa shared out spoilerific details of what he has seen during the screening.

He started off by noting that the final cut does not contain "Black Freighter". Nonetheless, he stated that glimpses of the comic can be seen in the newsstand as well as when a kid reads it. Then, he confirmed that the ending will be different from the graphic novel and admitted that the tone is dark though mentioning that "The Watchmen reality is a little more surreal in its feel, like a dream. It really has the feel of the comic in it."

Jay-Z Reportedly Mad at Chris Brown Over Alleged Attack on Rihanna

Music mogul Jay-Z reportedly is mad after hearing the mounting reports of his protege, Rihanna, allegedly becoming the target of her boyfriend Chris Brown's attack on Grammys night, February 8. "He hit the roof" when he first found out about it, Hollyscoop quotes a source close to Jay-Z as saying.

"Chris is a walking dead man. He messed with the wrong crew," the insider adds. No record if Jay-Z wants to take action on Chris due to his conduct.

'A Nightmare on Elm Street' Finds Director in Samuel Bayer

"A Nightmare on Elm Street" remake is moving forward with the pick up of its director. The Hollywood Reporter's Risky Biz Blog reported that both Platinum Dunes and New Line Cinema have appointed music video director Samuel Bayer to helm the re-imagining of the Wes Craven classic, making the project Bayer's directorial debut for feature film.

Samuel Bayer is known for his works in commercials and music videos. Having won MTV Video Music Awards' Director of the Year in 2005 and 2007, his music video credits include Nirvana's "Smells Like Teen Spirit", Blind Melon's "No Rain", Green Day's "American Idiot" and Justin Timberlake's "What Goes Around.../...Comes Around".

Britney Spears has started filming a music video for her controversial song "If U Seek Amy" and details on how the video will be shot have been unfolded. According to an eyewitness from its shooting location, the video will contain old-schooled scenes with the singer wearing a blonde '50s style wig, fitted pink top and white skirt.

Furthermore, from on-the-set photos slideshow, it is revealed that Britney will be accompanied by several extras, one of whom is a straight-laced man wearing khakis and a sweater over his shoulders. Concerning where the video is shot, rumor says that it is filmed at "a $4 million traditional home near the Palisades bluffs." No statement on when the video will make its debut though.

Balthazar Getty's Exit From 'Brothers and Sisters' Only Temporary

As the speculations surrounding Balthazar Getty's alleged exit from "Brothers & Sisters" intensify with reports that the actor will last be seen in the 19th episode, one of the series' executive producers, Alison Schapker, stands up and uncovers what is really going on. To Los Angeles Times, Schapker confirms that Getty's character will leave Los Angeles in the particular episode, but he will return before the end of the season.

"Balthazar is taking time off from the show right now because we felt that character was really on a downward spiral and you see him really go on it," the producer who has also co-written some of the episode explains. "In almost trying to be his dad, he's destroyed by it, and he has lost everything by the end of the year."

Following protests from viewers and bloggers on the inclusion of 23-year-old Joanna Pacitti into "American Idol", new report surfaces that the contestant has actually been disqualified. Right after the telecast that reveal the Top 36 where Joanna is admitted, FOX announce that the Philadelphia native is "ineligible".

It became a controversy last month when Pacitti was handed a golden ticket to Hollywood despite the fact that she has performed more than a hundred times as the titular character of "Annie" in Broadway when she was 11. She was even signed to A&M Records and her vocal has appeared in several soundtracks to big screen movies.

Beside showing Miley riding horse with Lucas Till, who plays her love interest in the movie, the video captures her swinging back and forth in a rope near a waterfall. It also includes an acoustic set where she picks up her guitar and sits on the floor, singing to the song.

Director Christopher Nolan's Next Project Won't Be 'Batman 3'

Sequel to 2008 blockbuster film "The Dark Knight" won't be director Christopher Nolan's next project, it has been unraveled. The two-time Batman movie helmer will instead move on to direct another feature film project he has written entitled "Inception" after his original screenplay is being picked up by Warner Bros. in a whopping seven-figure buy, according to Variety.

Nolan's involvement with this film allegedly pushes back any potential filming for the next Batman film. Nonetheless, Nolan will co-produce the movie which has been described as "a contemporary sci-fi actioner set within the architecture of the mind" with partner Emma Thomas, who is also "The Dark Knight" producer. The 38-year-old filmmaker is reported planning to shoot the sci-fi action film in summer 2009 for a summer 2010 release.

Several U.S. radio stations decide to pull out Chris Brown's songs from their playlists after the R&B singer is accused of attacking a woman, who is strongly believed to be Rihanna. One of the radios which has publicly dropped his music is pop-radio station 100.9 WNOU-FM, which is located in Indianapolis, Indiana.

"The audience of RadioNOW 100.9 has requested that temporarily suspend the airplay of songs by Chris Brown," so the WNOU site announced. "We do not take domestic violence allegations lightly. Domestic violence, battery and assault are serious issues on our society."

According to a source at Ain't It Cool News, the writing/directing duo known for their work in "The Matrix" trilogy have been approached to reboot "Superman" franchise as a trilogy and they are "currently reviewing their options".

The tipster noted that James McTeigue, the director of the brothers' "V for Vendetta" film has broken the news during a television interview in Berlin. Allegedly, the helmer claimed that a shakeup at Warner Bros. has delayed the Wachowskis' live-action "Plastic Man" and opened a discussion for the two to possibly direct the reboot.

E! Online has claimed in an exclusive report on its site, dated Wednesday, February 11, that Chris Brown has been spotted at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas. "He's staying in a suite on an upper floor of the hotel," the site wrote.

This season of "American Idol" has opened a bigger door for the hopefuls, by taking in 36 instead of the usual 24. During the February 11 episode, these 36 people are announced one by one, through a deliberation where contestants must go through a long narrow passage leading to their fate.

The judges then have a showdown between Cody and Alexander Wagner-Trugman, asking them to perform any song and the latter does it better, consequently included in the next round while the former goes home. In a new full-length trailer of "Angels & Demons", courtesy of MSN, it can be seen how Vatican's nemesis, the Illuminati, uses the Papal Conclave to terrorize the Catholic Church.

While some of the footage shown in the trailer have been previewed previously from either the teaser or the clips, many of the scenes displayed in the trailer are new. The more than two minutes promotional video teases on the thrill and the mystery the movie will present as well as the explosive sequences and the race-against-time scenes.

In addition to the leaked cover, one picture of Aubrey which is set to be featured as part of an eight-page nude pictorial in the magazine's next month issue, dubbed The Sex and Music Issue, has also been leaked. It sees her wearing a skimpy black swimsuit. Both pictures are an addition to another one which was leaked last month.

'Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince' Clip Possibly Aired During Oscars

A clip from "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince" is likely to be aired during the 81st Annual Academy Awards telecast. Suggesting the possibility was New York Times' The Carpetbagger as it reported that the clip from the sixth "Harry Potter" film could end up as a part of the planned montage shown at the end of the Oscars ceremony.

The picking up of the clip reportedly has been done by Warner Bros. earlier in a staff meeting in which the studio allegedly chose three films to get their clip featured. In companion to "Half-Blood Prince", the two other films to be getting the same treatment are Guy Ritchie's "Sherlock Holmes" and McG's "Terminator Salvation". Nonetheless, these rumors have yet to be confirmed by the studio.

Jennifer Hudson has brought out a music video to promote her song "If This Isn't Love". In the Diane Martel-directed music video, she is captured performing the song while two people, who land the part as a couple, are dancing to the beat.
