'Watchmen' Fate Could Be Decided on January 20

January 08, 2009 10:02:13 GMT

Feess to decide whether Warner Bros. should be allowed to release the action fantasy movie as planned on March 6 or not.

This injunction stemmed from the ruling Feess issued on Christmas Eve, which favored Fox on the battle to get "Watchmen" distribution rights. Finding that producer Lawrence Gordon had failed to acquire Fox's entire interest in the Zack Snyder-directed movie, it was deemed that Fox still had the rights to the film.
