Sam Tyler will meet the young version of his future mentor in 2008, Fletcher Bellow in the next episode of "Life on Mars". Although Fletcher does not recognize his future life and Sam, the mentor will collaborate with Sam and other detectives to investigate a murder case.

"Things to Do in New York When You Think You're Dead", will focus on the murder of an African American girl, whose body is found thrown from a rooftop. A racial confrontation will happen between the African Americans and Puerto Ricans in a neighborhood, regarding the suspicion toward a Puerto Rican as the suspect of the murder.

Las Vegas-based rock band Panic! At the Disco have released a music video for their newest song "Northern Downpour". Directed by Behn Fannin and produced by Refused TV, the music video was filmed in Los Angeles in late September.

Traveling back to the point of being black-and-white, the video displays the band's members playing their song with old-schooled wardrobes. As it nears the end, people are shown mopping around the musicians shoveling the dirt on the field.

Another short snippet from "Quantum of Solace" has been found via Commander Bond. Said to be originally broadcast on October 28 on BBC1's special 'Film 2008: Quantum of Solace', the less-than-a-minute clip follows the chase sequence between James Bond, played by Daniel Craig, and traitorous Henry Mitchell, portrayed by Glenn Foster, in a bell tower. Though parts of this brief clip have been featured in the "Quantum" trailer as well as its behind-the-scene footage, it still presents some fresh footage from the action movie.

Picking up an hour after the end of "Casino Royale", "Quantum" is directed by "Finding Neverland" helmer Marc Forster and follows Bond in a manipulative and dangerous mission of uncovering the truth behind the mysterious organization called Quantum. This 22nd James Bond movie will also feature Olga Kurylenko as Russian-Bolivian agent Camille, Mathieu Amalric as lead villain Dominic Greene, Gemma Arterton as MI6 Agent Strawberry Fields and Judi Dench as M. It has been scheduled to hit North American theaters on November 14, 2008.

While the spin-off to "Melrose Place" is being baked in the oven by The CW, stars of the original series are coming out to give their status of involvement. Jennie Garth says no, Kelly Rutherford leaves a possibility and Lisa Rinna gives a definite yes.

Garth appeared for three episodes on the original show since 'Melrose Place' was introduced with a cross-over story from "Beverly Hills, 90210" involving Kelly Taylor. On the possibility of her, reprising the role, Garth says "No. I...no. I think they should keep it separate. And no, I don't want to do it." Garth made a return to "Beverly Hills, 90210" spin-off titled "90210" this Fall, playing Taylor.

Janet Jackson's "Rock Witchu" performance at Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut has been officially scrapped off. "Mohegan Sun regrets to announce that the concert featuring Janet Jackson has been officially canceled," the statement issued by the venue reveals.

In a further explanation, it is also announced that the show, which was originally set for October 11 but had to be canceled due to Jackson's migraine ailment, will not be re-scheduled due to alleged poor ticket sales. Thus, all Jackson's fans who purchased tickets for the gig can ask for refund at the point of purchase.

Gisele Bundchen helps American Photo Magazine celebrating its 30th anniversary by striking a number of raunchy poses for its November issue. Teaming up with her photographer friend Nino Munoz, she is snapped in a range of sultry poses that expose her curvy body.

Attempting to use Gisele's shots to convey the idea of "glamor", Nino tells the magazine, "We get very inspired around each other, and I'll talk to her about ideas, get her input, and make it happen." He then adds, "Two Giseles are better than one, don't you think?"

Good news for the fans of three hit series, "Gossip Girl", "One Tree Hill", and "90210". It has been reported exclusively by Michael Ausiello from Entertainment Weekly that The CW network has ordered more episodes for the three series.

"Gossip Girl", the successful teen drama which comes into its second season through its September 1 premiere, has been picked up for one more episode to complete the season into the total of 25 episodes. The CW has informed the decision to executive producers Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage. Previously it has been reported that the original 22 episodes were being ordered for 2 more episodes counting it up to 24.

Columbia Pictures are one step closer to secure a screenwriter for "Spider-Man 4" script. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the studio is in final negotiations with David Lindsay-Abaire to have the Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright for 2006's Broadway stage production "Rabbit Hole", penning the fourth superhero movie.

Lindsay-Abaire will not be the first "Spider-Man" scribe winning the Pulitzer, "Spider-Man 2" screenwriter, Michael Chabon, is also a winner of the prestigious award. While nothing is set in stone yet, there are no explanation on whether the "Inkheart" screenwriter will rewrite the draft written by James Vanderbilt or he will take on a different route and bring in new material.

Keyshia Cole provides her fans with a music video in accompaniment of her brand new song "Playa Cardz Right" which features Tupac Shakur. The music video is shot at the Tupac Memorial Center for The Arts in Stone Mountain to honor the rapper who died in September 1996.

On the video, Cole is captured sitting on the mixing desk and singing the song while her collaborator is shown through a quick display of his several photos. Shakur's mother Afeni Shakur is also making a cameo appearance during the video set.

In rebooting the "Superman" franchise, Warner Bros. Pictures have been looking forward to introduce a darker Superman, but it seems that Brandon Routh has a different opinion about it. In an interview with IESB, the man who plays the titular character in "Superman Returns" said that he doesn't "think the character necessarily has to be darker".

"I think he is kind of dark in a sense, emotional dark, in Superman Returns, and the movie as a whole was slightly dark, they could have had more prowess in it I suppose, and I think that's one thing that can be done in the sequel, so I don't know how much darker you want to make it necessarily," he explained. "You make the stakes higher, you make the villain darker, I think that's a way to do it."

Ahead of the private memorial service for her late mother, brother and nephew, which is slated to be held next week, Jennifer Hudson reportedly is "still in shock" over their slayings. Devastated by the tragedy, she is said to be fearing of her own safety too that she has many security guards around her.

E! Online cites some insiders as they inform Hudson was in Florida when she received the news that her mother and brother were shot to death. She then immediately boarded a flight north. Afterwards, she checked into the Trump International Hotel & Tower, yet rarely left her room. Her fiance David Otunga has been by her side "around the clock." "David's been by her side through this whole tragedy," a family source claims. "He has totally been there for her."

A new song titled "Just Like Me" which is performed by Jamie Foxx has been available for stream. Produced by The-Dream and Tricky Stewart, the song reveals that rapper T.I. has lent his vocals to rap some lines on the hook.

"Just Like Me" is expected to come out on Foxx's third major studio effort tentatively called "Man's Intuition". While the album's concrete details are still kept under wrap, the record is scheduled to be dropped in the U.S. market in December as a follow up to his 2005 LP, "Unpredictable".

A small town advertises their commodity, a wishing well that really works, in the new "Supernatural". When a young girl's teddy bear comes to life, Sam and Dean discover that the town's wishing well really works, blurring the line between reality and fantasy.

The third and claimed-to-be final trailer of "Valkyrie" has finally been brought forward by United Artists. Providing several never-before-seen footage from the World War II movie, the video is packed with how Operation Valkyrie is carefully planned and with the action sequences to be expected from the film.

Based on the true story of a German World War II colonel and Catholic aristocrat Colonel Claus von Stauffenberg, "Valkyrie" chronicles the daring and ingenious plot to kill Hitler. In a country in the grips of evil, a loyal and proud military man, von Stauffenberg serves his country and hopes someone will find a way to stop Hitler before Europe and Germany are destroyed.

It has been reported but not confirmed yet, "Mad Men" star, Jon Hamm, will be a guest star in NBC's hit dramedy series, "30 Rock". EW's Michael Ausiello shares the news that the actor is one step closer to the series by doing some talks in advance for his multi-episode arc appearance.

Further info specifies that Hamm's role in the series is believed to have something to do with Tina Fey's character. In fact, he will become Liz Lemon's neighbor who turns to become Liz's love interest.

New rumors are swirling that Joe Jonas might be dating actress-singer-model Brenda Song. The National Ledger starts up the speculation, claiming romance rumors began to spark after the two were seen getting together at a Los Angeles Lakers vs San Antonio Spurs basketball game recently.

Getting closer to the release date of her highly-anticipated sixth studio effort, "Circus", Britney Spears comes out bringing a promotional poster for the new album. Presenting whole old-fashioned circus vibe, the poster, posted on the news photo, announces December 2 as the release date for the album and "Womanizer" as the first single off the forthcoming record.

Additionally, Spears is in the middle of filming another music video, according to BreatheHeavy. The publication reveals that the video will be shot as a circus-themed video as the singer's backup dancers are seen on the video set wearing very circus-like costumes. No statement has been made by Spears' camp concerning the proposed idea.

"Slumdog Millionaire", the Cadillac People's Choice Award recipient from the 33rd Annual Toronto International Film Festival, has previewed a glimpse into its romantic comedy drama through newly released trailer. In the spirit of "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?" quiz, the trailer compacts the essence of the whole plot in one question with four multiple choice answers.

Telling the story of an illiterate Indian streetkid getting a chance to win the ultimate prize on India's "Who Wants to be a Millionaire?", "Slumdog" follows 18-year-old Jamal Malik, an orphan from the slums of Mumbai, who is one question away from winning 20 million rupees. But before getting to the last question, he is arrested under the suspicion of cheating forcing him to tell the story of his life from the slum he and his brother grew up to the girl he loved and lost.

More on the love life of Grissom will be given a spotlight on the November 6 edition of "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation". While Sara Sidle leaves him a goodbye video stating that the relationship between him and her did not move on but instead it "withers", Grissom is seen taking advances in his relationship with Lady Heather.

"Friends" veteran actress, Courteney Cox, will make another appearance on a new single-camera comedy entitled "Cougar Town". The new comedy series is scheduled to begin filming in early January for a possible midseason premiere of the 2009-2010 schedule.

In this ABC's series, Cox will appear for three episodes starting from the pilot, playing as a 40 years old attractive single mother with a 17 years old son. Furthermore, Cox will not only have a contribution as the player, but she will also make a collaboration with "Scrubs" creator, Billy Lawrence, to become "Cougar Town" executive producer.

As an effort to promote her brand new song "Don't Believe in Love", Dido premieres a music video for the single. Shot in a ranch near Los Angeles and produced by AlexandLiane, the video views Dido sitting in a silence with a man on a dining room with none of them trying to be courteous.

As the video progresses, it displays more about Dido's loneliness. She is captured lying on the grass outside her house, wandering around the house alone, and then spending her day with nothing to do just standing by the window and staring at the street in front of the house while her man is watching her in the same silence.

Miley Cyrus will turn 16 years old next month and just like most other teenagers at her age, she wants to get her own car. Joining Mario Lopez as a guest co-host of "Extra", she confesses, "I am begging [to get my first car]" adding, "I got to go take my test first - I don't really want to go get my picture taken. Prior to her early star-studded birthday bash, held at California's Disneyland back on October 5, Miley had made public her wish list, telling Radio Disney among the thing she wanted most for her presents is a car. Contrary to the earlier reports about "Wizards of Waverly Place", this Disney Channel's original series won't be heading to the theaters anywhere. Clearing out misunderstanding on the matter, MTV News reported that the mouse house will indeed develop "Waverly Place" into a movie as what has been suggested by star Selena Gomez, but only for the small screen material.

The clarification of the movie project has been shared by Gomez's representative on Thursday, October 30, insisting that the project will be a Disney Channel original movie, rather than a feature film. Adding to the clarification, Disney's rep explained, "It will be part of the blockbuster Disney Channel Original Movie franchise, the same franchise that launched 'High School Musical' and 'Camp Rock'. While it's only in development, the plan is to have the movie ready for the 2009 calendar year."

The past comes back to haunt Izzie in the new "Grey's Anatomy". The 5.07 episode of the show will see Izzie being tormented when a new patient has similar sickness to her late fiance, Denny Duquette who died on the operation table after a failed heart transplant, and the fact that she is in charge of the case, affects her emotional state.

A new song from Christina Aguilera called "Dynamite" has been unveiled through an almost-50-second snippet. The newly-leaked single still carries up-beat electropop sounds like her previously-released song, "Keeps Gettin' Better".

Both "Dynamite" and "Keeps Gettin' Better" are new materials from Aguilera's upcoming compilation album, "Keeps Gettin' Better - A Decade of Hits". The record is expected to come out on November 11 in the U.S. exclusively through giant retailer Target.

Niki Taylor is pregnant, it has been announced. Her representative informed People magazine Thursday, October 30 that the supermodel and her husband Burney Lamar are expecting their first child together.

"Burney and I are very excited with this stage of our lives," Niki said in a statement, adding she and Burney are "thrilled." The sex of the forthcoming baby hasn't been disclosed, but it is confirmed that Niki is due to give birth early March next year.

In the wake of the four "Angels & Demons" photos outing, Sony Pictures have released the first teaser trailer of the drama mystery thriller. Presenting another mystery to be solved before time runs out, the promotional video tells about a Papal Conclave that is taking place with thousands of people gathering at Saint Peter Square.

As the reporter goes on describing further on the occurrences, a voice of a man takes over. He explains that in that particular night in Vatican City an ancient ritual is taking place and that the entire world is watching the ritual. Then, slowly but surely, he reveals that it is the perfect night for him and his colleagues to have their revenge. The footage quickly moves to display a slew of snippets where Robert Langdon is on a trail to save the Vatican.

A private memorial service has been set to be held on Monday morning, November 3 for Jennifer Hudson's mother, brother, and nephew. The service, set to take place at Apostolic Church of God at Chicago's South Side, will be closed to the public and only invited guests are welcomed.

At press time, no public memorial service is planned. However, an announcement is expected to be made by Hudson Funeral Home, which is owned by the Oscar winner's aunt and is handling the funeral and memorial arrangements, regarding a potential open memorial. In the meantime, shrines have already been erected and vigils are held outside the Englewood home where Hudson's mother Darnell Hudson Donerson, 57, and older brother Jason Hudson, 29, were found dead of multiple gunshot wounds last Friday, October 24.

A music video in support of Akon's Lil Wayne-featuring song "I'm So Paid" has been debuted. Directed by Gil Green and shot on a big cruise ship, the music video has DJ Khaled, Tami Chynn, and Lil Chuckee as cameos.

On the video, Akon is seen making a grand arrival on a helicopter and dressing in a black tuxedo while his hand is clutching a white suitcase, seemingly to be loaded with something valuable. After his mission on selling a fake diamond to the owner of the ship is complete, he and a girl from the cruise ship run off using a speedboat with a lot of money in his case.
