A rumor goes around that three top celebrities, Britney Spears, Paris Hilton, and Lindsay Lohan, will play in the same sitcom series together. It is reported that HBO, the official network of some hit series like "Sex and the City" and "The Sopranos", has planned to pick the trio to star on the sitcom that is untitled.

Furthermore, a source also states that the show's chief has asked a favor from Ricky Gervais ("Extras" star) and Mark Cherry ("Desperate Housewives" creator) to write on the script. The story has been described as a cross between "Friends" and "Ugly Betty".

An official cover art for Akon's fourth major studio effort "Freedom" has been uncovered. As seen on the news photo, Akon is captured standing tall in his luxurious black suit and glasses with the blue sea on the background.

Previously, official tracklisting for "Freedom" has also come out. Despite reports claiming that Michael Jackson will be featured on the set, the album only named Lil Wayne, Young Jeezy, T-Pain, Ray Lavender, and Wyclef Jean as his collaborators and missed out Jackson on the list.

"XXX: The Return of Xander Cage" is most likely to begin filming sometime in early 2009. Of it, Collider reported that director Rob Cohen has revealed the matter through a recent interview saying, "We met the writers yesterday and we're trying to get into production by late spring, to have it out for the summer of 2010."

On the occasion, he also made time to confirm that this new "XXX" project will team him up once again with action man Vin Diesel who will reprise his role as Xander Cage, a law-breaking extreme sports enthusiast-turned-government agent. "Yes, they're doing it with me and producer Joe Roth. We made the deal recently, it's named xXx: The Return of Xander Cage," he exclaimed.

Selena Gomez stopped by Rachael Ray's TV show "Rachael Ray" for a scheduled interview, aired on Tuesday, October 28, talking about several issues, from the birthday gifts she got for her 16th birthday to the things that keep her down to earth despite her worldwide fame. Good news for "Melrose Place" fans. The speculation around the series' spin-off now has been confirmed by The CW network spokesman, Paul Hewitt himself. The former hit soap opera will have its upcoming spin-off soon in 2009.

Christian Bale could be trading his Batman gears with another superhero costume. Australia's LiveNews has sparked rumors that the 34-year-old star is most likely to portray Dr. Stephen Vincent Strange, a former surgeon turned powerful sorcerer, in the earlier proposed comic book adaptation film, "Dr. Strange".

Suggesting that Bale is the studio's first choice for the part, the publication went on by quoting a source, "Christian is hot property right now, courtesy of Batman. Doctor Strange is a very different kind of hero to Batman and it's felt Christian is the sort of actor who can make the part work on screen." Still, LiveNews noted that no deal has been signed yet on this casting possibility.

The most heavily guarded marine base in the world gets robbed in the new episode of "NCIS: Naval Criminal Investigative Service". Gibbs second guesses his own judgment when Vance assigns him a rookie to aid his team's investigation into the deadly bank robbery.

In the episode called "Collateral Damage", the NCIS are assigned for the case because they are considered the only ones who could solve the case, but Vance decides to include a newly-assigned agent named Dwayne Wilson as their assistant. Agent Michelle Lee (Liza Lapira) will also make a return to aid the team and according to writer Shane Brennan "Gibbs' gut instinct will kick in" concerning her past deceit.

The nominees for the eleventh annual British Independent Film Awards (BIFAs) have been announced. On Tuesday, October 28, at Soho House in London, it is unveiled that IRA prison drama "Hunger" and crime comedy "In Bruges" have dominated the list by collecting seven nominations each.

Both of them will battle it out for the title of Best British Independent Film, contending also with "Slumdog Millionaire", "Man on Wire" and "Somers Town". They will also go head-to-head for Best Screenplay and Best Debut Director. The latter is also known as The Douglas Hickox Award.

Miley Cyrus has hinted she doesn't mind being compared to her predecessors Britney Spears and Lindsay Lohan despite their much publicized public breakdown. Speaking on how she is feeling with the comparison, she told reporters in Germany amidst tour for her new album, "Breakout", "I just think that they are super successful, and hopefully when I am compared to them, it's them [...] career-wise because they have all been super successful and had amazing careers."

Asked to utter her opinion about Britney and Lindsay, Miley openly praised them as "really talented." Specifically referring to Britney, she said, "I don't know about around here, but at the Video Music Awards and everything, Britney Spears has been taking all the awards home and has really had quite a comeback."

A less-than-30-second snippet of Paramore's "Decode" music video has been unveiled. All wearing black costumes, the band's members are set playing the song in a dense forest with big trees imprisoning them from the outside world.

"Decode" is a new song that is specially penned for the soundtrack of the upcoming movie "Twilight". Other musicians, who will be involved in the work of the film's soundtracks, include Muse, Linkin Park, Jane's Addiction's Perry Farrell and composer Carter Burwell. The theme song LP will be available for purchase in the U.S. stores on November 4.

Veteran actress, Cloris Leachman, has done her final dance on Monday, October 27 on "Dancing with the Stars". Her cha cha cha and group hip-hop dances could not make her to get another shake in the competition.

Leachman's total score announcement on Tuesday, October 28, gives her and the partner, Corky Ballas, the lowest score among the other pairs. Leachman who usually gets standing ovation after dancing and always receives compliments for her ability to dance in her age, now only received 15 out of 30 score from the judges.

Alternative rock band Anberlin support their track, "Feel Good Drag", by releasing a music video for the song. The music video is directed by Endeavor Media and produced by Red Van Pictures. It shows the capture of the band singing their song in a tightly-shut room with a woman trying to get out.

"Feel Good Drag" is a song that previously appeared on the band's second studio album "Never Take Friendship Personal". The single has been re-recorded and later listed as the first single on their fourth LP, "New Surrender", which has been outed since August.

Rumor has it, there will be a fourth 'American Pie' movie. According to Moviehole, Universal Pictures have scrapped their plan on the direct-to-DVD American Pie movies due to the fact that they are planning to develop "American Pie 4".

Reportedly, this fourth film will bring back some of the leading actors from the previous "American Pie" movies. However, clues on the matter remain sketchy. There are yet confirmation or denial about the proposed movie itself from Universal.

Halloween celebration came early for Kate Hudson, who on Saturday, October 25, hosted a costume party for her celebrity friends to attend. The party was held at her Pacific Palisades home and there were about 200 people in attendance.

A photograph was obtained by People magazine, showing Kate's home being decorated with pumpkins, spider webs, witches and even severed heads hanging from the trees. A guest who happened to be at the star-studded party told People, the pool, located in the backyard, was covered and made into a dance floor.

In the next episode of "House M.D.", an agoraphobic man falls ill and refuses to leave his home to be treated at the hospital. Therefore, House and the team go to his home to figure out what might be wrong.

Cameron takes charge of the case as she had treated the patient in the past and she and the team figure out ways to treat him at his home. However, the patient's condition worsens and it becomes difficult to treat him at his home, therefore House and the team plan to get the man into the hospital for surgery without causing any problems.

The so-called burlesque queen, Dita Von Teese, has revealed her plans for the upcoming Halloween, telling Britain's Channel 4 she is planning to dress in jeans and t-shirt for the yearly annual festivity. "For Halloween, I'm going to look like a normal girl, put some bronzer on, some spray tan on and wear some jeans," so she says.

Dita, in her everyday life, opts for the vamp look and spends most of her time wearing corsets, stockings, and high heels. She also beautifies her look by applying flame-red lipstick on her lips. Those have become her trademarks and are highly associated to her career as exotic dancer.

Following Amazon's previous claim saying that Eminem's sixth studio album "Relapse" would be dropped on December 23, the retailer's site pulls off their announcement. The site changes listing for the album's release date to "TBD (To Be Determined)".

A spokesperson for Eminem's label, Interscope Records, tells MTV that indeed "there's been no date scheduled" for the effort. Back to few weeks before, without a fixed date 50 Cent hinted on a radio interview that the Detroit rapper's album will be dropped by the end of 2008 alongside his own project "Before I Self Destruct", which will come out on December 9 in the U.S.

After Entertainment Weekly brought forward a slew of images from "Star Trek" few weeks back, Empire Online is now sharing a fresh series of pictures from the sci-fi film. The brand new images are taken from Empire Magazine's newest issue and they present some of the new crew from the U.S.S. Enterprise.

The first pic which is posted at the news photo shows off Spock standing on the bridge of Enterprise in front of the starship's viewscreen. The second one put below displays Captain Kirk and Hikaru Sulu in armored EVA suits in what seems to be a space shuttle. Giving further information on the particular photo, TrekMovie hints that the man on the left can be Greg Ellis's Chief Engineer Olsen. Last of all, the third image takes a closer look at Uhura.

Condolences and messages of support haven't stopped coming in for Jennifer Hudson and the rest of her family following the tragic deaths of her mother, brother, and nephew, with the latest offering their prayers are Nelly and Ashanti. In addition to both music stars, Hudson's "Sex and the City" co-star Mario Cantone also offers his words of wisdom related to the case.

"It's insane," actress-singer Ashanti told MTV News on Monday night, October 27, when referring to the tragedy that Hudson has experienced. "I can't even express it, the pain that she must be going through. I can't imagine going through that. I just pray that she's strong and she takes the time to heal herself. My prayers go out to her and her family. God bless."

Four-piece band Papa Roach have premiered a music video for their single "Hollywood Whore". The video opens up with a scene where a woman lies on the floor, seemingly to be drunk. Then, the whole band take over with their out-loud performance as if they want to wake her up and make her sober.

"Hollywood Whore" is a song telling a story of Hollywood socialite who worships cash, fame, and fans. The new single will be among new tracks on the band's fifth studio album "Metamorphosis". Slated to come out in March 2009, the album, originally titled "Days of War, Nights of Love", is produced by Jay Baumgardner.

In the next episode of "My Own Worst Enemy", Mary Grady will find out the fact about Tom Grady. The identity of the boy who she used to believe as her true son, will be revealed on "That Is Not My Son".

The episode also focuses on the effort of Edward Albright to get Raymond Carter free out of captivity. At the same time, Henry Spivey suddenly wakes up to find himself in the middle of gunfire. Henry tries to call Mavis Heller for help by giving away his whereabouts and his identity as well. The worse is, Paula, additional character played by Michelle Krusiec, is a fellow operative who accidentally heard the true fact of Henry's identity from the conversation between Henry and Mavis on the phone. The situation leads Henry aka Edward's fate to rely on Paula's hands.

A very short footage of "Dragonball Evolution" has been discovered by Dragonball the Movie. Said to be aired by a Japanese TV station, NHK, the snippet teases the footage where Goku is taking out a dragonball from a box and pulls out his traditional uniform. The footage begins at the 16 seconds mark.

Based on the popular Japanese manga from Akira Toriyama, "Dragonball" tells the story of Goku, a humanoid alien and powerful warrior who becomes the Earth protector from the invading alien rogues who are trying to gain powers by collecting the mystical objects the movie takes its name. It focuses on Goku's journey in finding Master Roshi and preparing himself to protect the seven mystical dragonballs from evil's hands.

Hilary Duff releases a Phillip Andelman-directed music video aimed to promote her new single "Reach Out". On the The Prophet-featuring video, Duff is seen flirting with a man, hugging him in a tight grip, and sucking his thumb.

"Reach Out" is a dance-pop song which is produced by Ryan Tedder of OneRepublic and co-written by Tedder, Evan Bogart and Mika Guillory. The song, which samples Depeche Mode's "Personal Jesus", will appear on her compilation album, "Best of Hilary Duff".

Keeping his interview with "The Tyra Banks Show" real and honest, T.I. came clean about his personal life and most of all, sex life, claiming he lost his virginity when he was merely 11 years old. He, moreover, also opened up about his arrest for gun-possession charges and upcoming years-long jail sentence for pleading guilty to the case.

About losing his virginity at such a very young age, the rapper told talk show host Tyra Banks, "I'm embarrassed." He went on saying, "I'm sorry ... If it makes it any better we had two kids together later on."

The CW have provided a webclip from the 6.09 episode of "One Tree Hill". It takes on the conversation between Lucas and Haley about the direction of the screen play that is made out of Lucas' novel. Also provided below is the extended promo of the episode.

It is official, Robert Downey Jr. and Don Cheadle will team up in both "Iron Man 2" and "The Avengers". Marvel Studios have just given out confirmation that they have signed both actors for the two superhero movies.

Downey Jr. will live up his crime-fighting role as Iron Man once again, while Cheadle will step into the shoes of Colonel James 'Rhodey' Rhodes, once played by Terrence Howard. Despite this great news, it is still unclear though whether Cheadle's character will be transformed into War Machine in "Iron Man" sequel.

Kellie Pickler has turned her back on meat and becomes a vegetarian. Opening up about her new eating habit, she tells People magazine she's been seeking advice from fellow "American Idol" alum, Carrie Underwood, who's also a vegetarian.

"Most country girls do like their meat!" the country music singer said when recalling her root. "I used to eat steak rare all the time. I'd just throw it on the grill for two seconds, flip it over and it was done and everyone was like, 'That's so gross - that thing is still moving!'"

A brand new song from Taylor Swift called "You're Not Sorry" has been available for stream. Carrying slow-jammed sounds, the song revolves around the story of a woman turning devastated after breaking up with her boyfriend.

"You're Not Sorry" will be listed on Swift's sophomore studio album "Fearless". Slated for release on November 11 in the United States via Big Machine Records, the effort also contains a new song titled "Breathe" where Swift teams up with Colbie Caillat.

Months after the release of "Bedtime Stories" trailer, an extended version of the trailer has been put out. Around half-a-minute longer than the original trailer, this new promotional video for the family comedy adventure provides never-before-seen footage that are focused on the storytelling sequences.

The Cook County Medical Examiner's office confirmed Tuesday, October 28 that the death of Jennifer Hudson's nephew, 7-year-old Julian King, was ruled a homicide. Citing an ongoing investigation, the authorities didn't provide details about on which body part the child suffered wounds or how long he had been dead.

Julian, the son of Hudson's sister Julia Hudson, was declared missing soon following the killing of Hudson's mother Darnell Hudson Donerson, 57, and older brother Jason Hudson, 29, last Friday, October 24. An Amber Alert had been issued for him and a $100,000 reward had also been offered by his family for his safe return.

T.I. debuts a music video for his new song "Live Your Life" where Rihanna lends her vocal on the hook. Aided by director Anthony Mandler, the music video captures T.I. as a troubled man getting involved with mafia and Rihanna as a nightclub singer.

At some point, T.I. wears a neat expensive suit and drives a luxurious car but life is not that easy with all the feud in the group. For some reasons, he is beaten mercilessly by the other gang members and wanders aimlessly with a swollen face and ragged clothes. The video then ends with T.I. exiting the mafia group saying, "I get myself in, I get myself out."
