Nelly Plotting Supergroup With Akon

Nelly reveals that he wants to create a supergroup with Akon, T-Pain, and Pharrell Williams. "Me, Akon, T-Pain and Pharrell are talking about doing a project. We got a host of things we're trying to do - possibly put together this new 2009 [Bell Biv DeVoe] type of thing," he tells MTV.

When asked about their tight schedule with himself readying for "Brass Knuckles" release, Akon gearing up to drop "Freedom", and T-Pain rushing for "Thr33 Ringz" release, Nelly says that "it's more about the music than anything. It's about leaving something." He adds, "I think we're all OK as far as the money thing goes. I don't think anybody is hurting. You wanna do things you can be remembered by. Make a mark. I think that's something that's foremost on all our minds."

Sticking With 'Spider-Man' Sequels, Sam Raimi Drops 'Jack Ryan'

Reported to be attached to a Jack Ryan movie, "Untitled Jack Ryan Project", director Sam Raimi sets the record straight. To MTV News, the 49-year-old pushes aside the speculation of him serving as the helmer of the Tom Clancy's adaptation reasoning that he is committed to do "Spider-Man 4". He said, "Because I'm committed to 'Spider-Man' and making that picture, I think it's going to knock me out of the running for the Jack Ryan picture."

Though revealing that he is most likely not being involved in the project, Raimi still hopes that he is not completely cut out from any Tom Clancy movie saying, "I love Tom Clancy, and I hope they'd keep me in mind." Back in March, the producer of horror remake "The Grudge" has been reported by Variety to be in negotiations to direct the reboot as well as its possible sequels.

Video Premiere: Feist's 'Honey Honey'

Feist has premiered a music video to promote her new song "Honey Honey". Directed by Anthony Seck, the video stars finely-detailed puppets and revolves around the story of an old fisherman's wife who waits for her husband. Unfortunately, in the middle of the ocean, the fisherman is caught in trouble when a monstrous fish appears and he becomes its hapless target.

"It's a hand pulling a string at the exact right moment, or it's personifying a piece of wood. There are no computers, no buttons," Feist commented on the music video. "It's just ingenuity and timing and the humanness of the moment. The joints of wood mixed with the joints of blood and bone."

Britney Spears to Go Bald for Halloween

Already getting her life back on the right track following her much publicized public breakdown, Britney Spears reportedly is going to go bald for the forthcoming Halloween. Planning to throw a big bash for her friends and family to attend, she is said to have been planning to dress as herself with a fake shaved head.

"Britney has always loved Halloween," a source stated. "She's got a lot of friends and family coming over and they'll all be in costume. She's thinking of going as herself but back in her shaven head days."

Giving more sneak peeks into the episode 3.07 of "Heroes", NBC network have let out four clips from the episode titled "Eris Quod Sum". Compiled into one video player, the footage kicks off with the clip in which Elle talks with Claire about the help she may find at Pinehurst. It then switches to the scene when Peter wakes up, finds himself handcuffed to a bed and learns that Arthur has taken his abilities.

The third clip brings Arthur face-to-face with Mohinder. Discovering for the first time that Arthur has lied about his death, Mohinder questions how Arthur can give out such lie and talks about what he wants to achieve with Maya. In the last clip, which is the shortest of all, it is previewed that Tracey and Nathan confront Mohinder about him eliminating their abilities and using them for his experiment to save Maya.

Usher Booked for Upcoming 'Victoria's Secret Fashion Show'

CBS announces that Usher will be the only musical guest to perform at "The Victoria's Secret Fashion Show". The holiday infused lingerie runway show will be taped at Fontainebleau Miami Beach and broadcast on Wednesday, December 3 at 10:00 - 11:00 P.M ET/PT on CBS.

Heidi Klum along with top models Alessandra Ambrosio, Selita Ebanks, Doutzen Kroes, Adriana Lima, Marisa Miller, Miranda Kerr and a bunch of other Victoria's Secret Angels are also expected to attend the fashion show. On top of that, the event will also present red-carpet interviews, model profiles, and a behind-the-scenes look at the making of the world's most celebrated fashion show.

'Terminator Salvation' Wrapped Filming, McG Shares Update

As "Terminator Salvation" falls into its post-production phase, director McG comes out with an update about the development of the action thriller. Posting a new message in the film's official blog, the filmmaker whose real name is Joseph McGinty Nichol announced that the taking of the film's principal photography has been completed and now the crew is moving on with the post production.

McG also revealed that both Christian Bale and Sam Worthington have seen the film's early cuts and "seem pleased with where the film is headed". On the visual effect work, he shared, "There's one sequence in particular where we're trying to achieve something that's never been done before. I don't want to talk about it because we haven't been successful yet..."

A music video for will.i.am's cover of "I Like to Move It" which serves as a soundtrack for the big screen "Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa" has been debuted. Being bumped to a new slot in 2009 apparently brings a massive effect to "The Soloist" as the DreamWorks movie has been pulled out from its participation as the opening night film of AFI FEST 2008. The fact was revealed on Wednesday, October 22, in an announcement made by the American Film Institute through the film's producers.

In a joint statement from Paramount, DreamWorks and Participant Media, the producers explained about the reason for the withdrawal. "Due to the change in 'The Soloist' release date, we unfortunately had to withdraw from the AFI FEST Film Festival," the statement read. "It was an honor to be invited as the Opening Night film and we are very grateful to the festival for their support and understanding."

From on-the-set photos posted on Just Jared, it can be seen that Rihanna and Timberlake will apparently land the part as a couple. Full 'High School Musical 3: Senior Year' Soundtrack Streamed

Right after its U.S. release, the tracks from "High School Musical 3: Senior Year" soundtrack album have been streamed through a widget posted below. Using the widget, fans can listen to the highly-anticipated teenage drama musical's songs from "The Boys Are Back" to "High School Musical". Aside from providing the tracks, the widget also gives a chance to watch the videos of the musical numbers, "Now Or Never" and "I Want It All".

Hitting the U.S. stores on Tuesday, October 21, the LP contains twelve original tracks sung by the film's cast ensemble that include Vanessa Hudgens, Zac Efron, Ashley Tisdale, Lucas Grabeel and Corbin Bleu. The soundtrack has been released simultaneously in two versions, the standard version and the 2-Disc Premiere Edition version. ABC Official Promo of 'Lost' Season 5

The countdown to the fifth season of "Lost" is officially on with the release of its promo trailer by ABC. The footage explains among others, what happen to the people that have been rescued off the island and how they are determined to come back to the island to save the remaining people, but find it difficult since the island has gone out of sight.

The fifth season which will come in early 2009, begins 108 days after the fateful plane crash. Many have died and new characters have been introduced, and since the the first four seasons of the series were interjected with flashbacks, some actors are brought back to the series although they have either died or gone missing. The fifth season, according to executive producer Damon Lindelof, will be more like on and off the island stories in different points in time.

Guns N' Roses' new single called "Chinese Democracy" has been revealed. Hitting radio station for airplays on October 22 in the U.S., the song is a title track from the rockers' forthcoming sixth major studio album "Chinese Democracy" which has been in the work since 1994.

The band's effort, which has become the most expensive album ever produced, will be dropped on November 25, according to Best Buy. However, recent reports indicated that the rockers will release the album on November 23. No statement has been made by the band's label, Interscope Records, as well as the band's manager, Andy Gould, or Axl Rose concerning the official release date for the record.

Lil Wayne Welcomes Son

Lil Wayne has welcomed his baby boy, whose imminent arrival he made public on-stage at the BET Hip-Hop Awards on Saturday, October 18. The infant, named Dwayne Carter III, was born Wednesday afternoon, October 22, at Christ Hospital in Cincinnati.

Wayne's representative confirms Dwayne's arrival to MTV News, yet provides no further details about the newborn baby. The identity of Dwayne's mother also isn't disclosed.
