Jason Priestley who was widely known as Brandon from his old zip code "Beverly Hills, 90210", will bring his 'famous name' back to the television. Priestley will play again as Brandon on a TV series, not in "90210", in fact, the 'Brandon' will appear on the American sitcom, "My Name Is Earl".

It has reported that Priestley will be a guest star on one of the episodes of "Earl". Brandon in the series is a cousin of Earl and an ex-lover of Joy (Earl's ex-wife). He appears in a flashback scene of Earl and Joy's first anniversary.

The recently surfacing rumors around "Pirates of the Caribbean 4" apparently hold no truth in them. Slamming down many of the speculations, Terry Rossio, the co-writer of "Pirates of the Caribbean" trilogy, posted a debunking message, writing on Wordplay Forums, "For the record, none of the recent Pirates 4 rumors have any truth, including the so-called record 50 million dollar payday for [Johnny] Depp."

He then went on to crush other speculations, namely the possibility of either Sacha Baron Cohen or Russell Brand co-starring Johnny Depp as Jack Sparrow's brother, and of Tim Burton getting the director part. "Some pretty funny stuff, though. Sacha Cohen? Tim Burton? Studios are way too protective of their franchises for that sort of thing," the "Shrek" co-scribbler claimed.

In a recent statement, country musician Tim McGraw revealed that he had no involvement on the release of his "Greatest Hits, Vol. 3". He said, "I'm saddened and disappointed that my label chose to put out another hits album instead of new music. I've only had one studio album since my last hits package. It has to be just as confusing to the fans as it is to me."

Claiming that "the whole concept is an embarrassment", the singer stated, "Sure I love the songs and I don't want to take anything away from all the creative people who were part of making those records. In the spirit of the election year, I would simply say to my fans 'I'm Tim McGraw and I don't approve their message.'"

Despite denial after denial that Madonna's people had issued following the many break up rumors claiming the pop superstar and her husband Guy Ritchie were divorcing, new speculation has just emerged by the hour that the husband-and-wife indeed will announce their separation "imminently." British tabloid The Sun is the first to break the report to public's notice Wednesday, October 15 and other websites including MSNBC and Reuters are quick to report the same matter.

Per the Sun, Madonna and Guy have been preparing to release a statement confirming the end of their marriage as they "can't bear to live with the pretence any longer." The singer's desire for more adoption has been cited as one of the causes of the split. "The amount of time each devotes to their careers" has made their relationship gets worse as it often causes them to get involved in heated arguments.

Tina Fey and the running presidential candidates are "likely" to come for "Saturday Night Live", Chicago Tribune reports. The show's executive producer, Lorne Michaels, hinted that although nothing is confirmed yet, "sooner or later, everyone will come through."

Looking backward when Bush and Al Gore came by the show in 2000, Michaels is confident that president nominees Barack Obama and John McCain as well as their running mates, Joseph Biden and Sarah Palin will come by although he is not sure of the date. "We're always talking to everyone," he added.

Supporting Barack Obama to be the next U.S. president, Blake Lively and Penn Badgley show their love for the politician by starring in a new public service announcement (PSA), urging people to vote for him. Their pro-Obama PSA, which has been all over the net, is first featured on a new website called McCainFreeWhiteHouse.org.

In the 30-second PSA , titled "Partnership for a McCain-Free Whitehouse", the "Gossip Girl" stars and real-life lovers were joined by several other people of their ages. All of them jokingly warn people about the dangers of voting for Republican presidential candidate John McCain. "Talk to your parents about John McCain. For my sake? Please? Vote for Barack Obama. Before it's too late," the people featured in the PSA say.

Rap mogul Akon provides fans with an almost-two-minute video blog which gives out a closer look on his busy day of recording his second single. Called "I'm So Paid", the brand new song features Lil Wayne and appears on his upcoming effort "Freedom".

Due in stores on November 25, "Freedom" becomes Akon's third major studio album and latest project under his Konvict imprint to follow up his 2006 "Konvicted" LP. Led by the single "Right Now (Na Na Na)", his forthcoming record also features guest appearances from T-Pain on "Holla Holla" and Michael Jackson on "Hold My Hand".

The preview of "NCIS: Naval Criminal Investigative Service" episode 6.05 has arrived, showing Gibbs in pursue of a marine's murderer that puts him in a collision course with an old friend, FBI agent Fornell. The episode which will be called "Nine Lives" will be aired on October 21 on CBS at 8/7c.

Although many Tuesday prime time shows on TV have been pre-emptied for the second presidential debate this week, "NCIS" still gained a rather high rating with 15.7 million viewers, a number that overtook "Dancing with the Stars" result episode (13.4 million). However, CBS total viewers ranks second after ABC that covered the debate.

Catching the fever of the forthcoming U.S. presidential election, Taylor Swift shares her feeling about getting involved in the political affair, claiming her first experience to vote on the upcoming November 4 event as "cool and empowering." To Redbook magazine she admitted, "I felt this responsibility that I've never felt before - I actually had a say in the political discussions of my country."

Recalling the day she registered to vote, the country singing sensation claimed she did it on her 18th birthday. "The first thing I did this year on my 18th birthday was register to vote," Swift tells Redbook magazine. "I was still in my pajamas and I got on my computer and registered."

The chance of Shia LaBeouf's character, Mutt Williams in "Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull", to be the center of attention in future "Indiana Jones" movie is getting grimmer by the seconds. On the heels of George Lucas' rejection on the idea, Harrison Ford also dished out any possibility of Indy passing the torch to his son.

Throwing cold water to the speculation when talking to Moviefone in support of "Skull" DVD release, Ford gave out clarification on where "Indiana Jones V" won't go near. "No, that's never been [the idea]," he spoke of the possible passing of Indy's fedora. "As George has famously said, we'd have to call it 'Mutt Jones: The Search for Elvis.' [Laughs.] I think it just doesn't work that way. And there's definitely a distinction between passing the fedora and someone picking it up."

The Veronicas have launched a new web show called "UNTOUCHED" on their Yahoo! video channel "Beyond The Veronicas" presented by Yaz. Beginning Monday, October 13, the weekly series will chronicle Lisa Origliasso and Jessica Origliasso's journey to stardom in the U.S. as they tour the country in support of their current Sire Records' album, "Hook Me Up".

The first episode of the web series will delve into the band's childhood when the two sisters grew up in Brisbane, Australia. It will also give viewers an inside look on how they became superstars. The following episodes will chronicle the girls' behind-the-scenes as they arrive in America to prepare and rehearse for their recent tour with Jonas Brothers. Viewers will have a front-row seat for Lisa and Jess with the Jonas boys, their first performance on the tour, and get a glimpse at what their life on the road is like.

Previously telling the press he and model fiancee Rhea Durham have been talking about hosting an August 2009 wedding, Mark Wahlberg gives update about what kind of ceremony he would have. Sharing more details, he told US Weekly at the Hollywood premiere of his latest film "Max Payne" Monday, October 13, the upcoming nuptials will be very intimate.

"Catholic church, small, family only, no media!" the movie hunk told the publication. "And there will be no wedding pictures sold to any magazines!"

After opening up about his vision on the creatures of "The Hobbit", dragon Smaug and Wargs, director Guillermo Del Toro speaks out about what he knows of the casting. Talking to MTV, the 44-year-old fesses up that no one has definitely come on board the project though he and his crew have in mind some of the potential actors.

Asked whether Hugo Weaving will be cast as Elrond once again, Del Toro reveals that he has the intention to approach the star as well as other "Lord of the Rings" actors, like Andy Serkis and Ian McKellen. "Oh yeah. We have to approach him - of course," he says. "Hugo Weaving, Andy Serkis, Ian McKellen - they all must be approached to do the movie."

Another pair was being eliminated this week on the Tuesday, October 14 episode of "Dancing with the Stars". The couple of professional dancer, Karina Smirnoff, and celebrity chef, Rocco DiSpirito, got the lowest total score from both the judges and audience voters, which is 18 out of 30. They both were practicing Samba dance during their competition in the show.

After the score announcement, DiSpirito asked one of the jugdes, Bruno Tonioli, to show a better Samba dance to him. He said, "For my final request, I would love it if Bruno could show me how to make my hips move properly." They finally had a duel Samba together.

Planning to kick off her world tour next spring, Britney Spears has signed Australian choreographer Wade Robson to create moves for her upcoming roadshow, according to The Daily Telegraph. "She reached out to me and said she wanted to get the old team back together," Robson says.

Elaborating his statement, Robson explains further that he and Spears will "go into rehearsals in January for a March start." Robson first worked with Spears on her first world tour in 1999 to promote her debut album "...Baby One More Time". Also, he choreographed suggestive dance moves for her "I'm a Slave 4 U" music video.

Thirteen is taking the downside fall of her name in the new episode of "House M.D." In "Lucky Thirteen", the young doctor is fired by House due to her negligence and personal life that invades with her professionalism.

Thirteen takes a woman with whom she had a one-night stand with to Princeton-Plainsboro after she collapsed and had a seizure in Thirteen's apartment. House and the team take on her case, with House using the case as an opportunity to explore Thirteen's personal life.

Lionsgate Film has had its share in holding the New York premiere of "W", the movie highlighting on the life and presidency of the 43rd President of the United States George W. Bush. On Tuesday, October 14, Lionsgate Films rolled down red carpet in front of Ziegfeld Theater in New York City to welcome the star-studded cast, film's crew as well as celebrity guests.

"Mulan" is going to meet its audiences again. This new film will be different from Disney's 1998 animated version in the sense of it will not be made as an animation movie, but rather as a live-action movie. Furthermore, it will introduce Mulan as a teenager and will add romance to Mulan's life.

Christopher Brough, head of MoviePlus Canada, clarified about the matter to The Hollywood Reporter on Monday, October 13. He said, "The Disney toon version takes a 4-foot-high viewpoint, from a child's perspective. We will introduce Mulan at an older age and blend her story with a romance. Mulan is China's Joan of Arc story."

DJ AM is confirmed to make his first live performance after September plane crash on Jay-Z's tour. "He's the greatest rapper in the world," AM says. "This is the biggest thing that's happened in my career."

According to AM's publicist, Jenni Weinman, the disc jokey celebrity will join the rap mogul on Wednesday, October 15 at Hollywood's Palladium. When vampire enters the territory of human, the air becomes tense. In the new episode of "True Blood", the two worlds collide in a bar, leading to a brawl that can turn out really dangerous for both.

A trio of rednecks decide to exact vigilante justice on a pack of vampires who crashed Merlotte's in search of their wayward mate Bill. Meanwhile, in search of V juice, Jason travels to Fangtasia, where he bonds with an adventurous young woman named Amy.

ABC show their interest move on the new season of "Eli Stone" though it only premiered Tuesday night, October 14. The dramedy TV series is ordered to have four more additional scripts to be produced. The network reportedly were satisfied with the rating it made for the first season and how the new season will well turn out.

"It's an incredible vote of confidence," says the series executive producer, Marc Guggenheim. "I had told that in order to keep production rolling , I would need to know by Wednesday [if they wanted more]. I figured at the very least that would give them a day's worth of ratings to analyze. And they were like, 'Nope, we'll just order them now.'"

On the announcement of 2008 American Music Awards, Alicia Keys has been revealed as an artist who leads the pack with five nods, including "Artist of the Year" competing with Lil Wayne, Chris Brown, Eagles, and Coldplay. Meanwhile, on "Favorite Female artist" category, Keys will face a stiff competition with Mariah Carey, and Rihanna.

People magazine has some details of Jennifer Aniston and John Mayer's public date over the weekend which prompted the mounting speculation of a rekindled romance following their much reported break up, occurred in early August this year. The former lovers were first seen reuniting in Boston on Friday, October 10 to attend a Ray LaMontagne concert before then having dinner with friends at Mantra restaurant.

One of the restaurant's staff testified the former lovers acted very "friendly but regular". "We wouldn't have noticed them if someone hadn't called ahead. ... They just came in with their group and sat in the hookah bar and drank and ate," the staff testified.

With "High School Musical 3: Senior Year" counting down to its theatrical premiere in about ten days, sequel talks of "High School Musical 4" have been brought up once again. On Sunday, October 12 in "Senior Year" press conference, producer Bill Borden stressed that the fourth installment of the highly successful "High School Musical" is to follow saying, "Yes, there will be a fourth movie."

Hollyscoop reported that Borden further explained, "We haven't actually really even talked about 4 that much together. But we've been working so hard on 3. As a producer, I haven't talked to Disney about 4. We have a ways to go." Though insisting that "HSM 4" will be made, he rejected the idea that it will follow one of the stars to the college. "Personally, I don't think it will be College Musical," so he claimed as quoted by E! Online.

Proving to have what it takes when it comes to curvy figure, the girls of Danity Kane go naked for a new anti-fur ad campaign for People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA). Aubrey O' Day, Shannon Bex, D. Woods, and Aundrea Fimbres take their clothes off for the ad and have their breasts and modesties covered with a "We'd Rather Go Naked Than Wear Fur" banner.

Mel Gibson will not take a run at "Lethal Weapon 5". The conviction of Gibson's reluctance to sign on with the new flick comes from Richard Donner, the director and producer of "Lethal Weapon" franchise, in an exclusive interview with Los Angeles Times on October 13.

"Mel turned it down," Donner said. "I would like to think that Mel turned it down because I wasn't involved. Knowing Mel, I would like to think that. Would that be the kind of thing he does? It sure would be." However, up to date, there is no official statement related to Donner's statement from Gibson's camp.

A slightly longer promo of "Gossip Girl" 2.07 has been outed by The CW, showing more on the scenes where Chuck seduces Vanessa to help Blair's evil scheme. After Vanessa threatens to use a picture of Catherine and Marcus to blackmail Blair into being nicer, Blair decides to get a revenge through the help of Chuck.

Blair's order is simple, "seduce and destroy" and Vanessa appears to really fall for Chuck, considering that she "was wrong about him", but Chuck wants to "raise the stakes" with Blair. Jessica Szohr who portrays Vanessa commented on the episode, saying "There's some flirtation with Chuck Bass coming up - but I think she still misses someone else."

On October 21, fans will be treated with exclusive never-before-seen footage of "Watchmen" and "Friday the 13th" at the Third Annual Scream Awards, "Scream 2008". The exciting news was revealed by Spike TV on Tuesday, October 14, through the press release on the honoring of Anthony Hopkins as the recipient of the first-ever Legend Award.

Rapper Yung Berg has debuted a music video in support of his new single "Put It on Me". Directed by Kevin Shulman, the video begins with a capture of a young lady driving on her car. The scene then switches on to another scene which displays Berg rapping his verses to the camera.

"Put It on Me" is an iTunes bonus track which features S. A. G. & StLou.Hitz. The 4-minute song appears on his debut album "Look What You Made Me". Featuring guest appearances from Eve, Trey Songz, Lloyd, Amerie, Twista, and Collie Buddz, the album is co-produced by himself teaming up with Rob Holiday and it has been dropped since August.

Gerard Butler and Shanna Moakler spark romance rumors after they were caught on camera cuddling and kissing at the grand opening of his new Korean BBQ eatery Shin in Hollywood on Monday night, October 13. E! Online broke the report, claiming the two stars were spotted getting intimate at a table late in the evening. They, nevertheless, avoided on being photographed together as they reportedly left the hot spot separately.

Butler was one of the celebrity investors in the eatery venture. During the opening, he also served guests drinks behind the bar. Music producer Mark Ronson and The Strokes frontman Julian Casablancas are just some of the other celebrity names involved in Shin.
