Scarlett Johansson and Eva Mendes are giving their celebrity status a whole new meaning by taking part in social cause to promote cell phone recycling. The movie stars are raising awareness for people to start recycling their used cell phones in a bid to lessen CO2 emissions by limiting the energy needed to create new phones.

The Environmental Media Association (EMA) and Lionsgate studio are the two parties behind the public service announcements (PSAs) that feature both actresses. The magazine ads reportedly will start appearing on People magazine this Friday, September 19.

Lily Allen recently announces that she will launch her sophomore major studio effort next year on February 9. "My new album will be released on the 9th of Feb 2009. I know it's a while away, but there will be bits and bobs flying around before then," the singer wrote on her MySpace page.

Speaking of the materials from her next installment "Stuck on the Naughty Step", the "Smile" singer explains that she struggles to get all the things in the right place as she doesn't want to make a sub-standard record. "I am trying really hard to do this album with integrity," the singer added. "I just don't want to put out sub standard stuff . I always thought an album was a body of work in itself. you take it or leave it."

"Australia" star Nicole Kidman is moving on with a new film project, "The Eighth Wonder (2010)". The 41-year-old has been reported to be attached to star as well as produce the action adventure movie from "Mr and Mrs Smith" screenwriter Simon Kinberg. Still, what character Kidman will be portraying is yet to be shared out.

Though much details of the storyline is closely guarded, it is said that the story will resolve around an archaeological discovery that sets off a globe-spanning race. Kinberg who is also touted to direct the movie is said to pen the script in fall. On the film itself, The Hollywood Reporter (THR) described that the film produced also by Laurence Mark is aimed to be "a character-driven, treasure-hunting thriller".

Amidst his band's hectic schedule, Kevin Jonas still has time to channel his interest on posh car. The eldest of the Jonas Brothers was seen taking a white Lamborghini on a test drive in Los Angeles on Monday, September 15.

Kevin was seen wearing black t-shirt under his gray coat. He was also spotted wearing a watch, necklace and bracelet. He had what appeared to be sunglasses on his hands. No sign of the presence of his brothers Joe Jonas and Nick Jonas. A peek of Kevin's Lamborghini test drive can be seen on The Sun.

This year, the nominee list at BET Hip Hop Awards is dominated by Lil Wayne as he grabs 12 nominations, including Best Live Performer. Besides that, the rapper is also listed in Video of the Year, thanks to his Gil Green-directed "Lollipop" music video.

Another artist who dominates the awards nomination is Kanye West. This year, he scores seven nominations, one of which is to compete with Lil Wayne, Nas, Jay-Z, and T.I. in Lyricist of the Year. Other nominees include Busta Rhymes, Flo Rida, T.I., and more.

Two brand new photos from the upcoming Presidential biopic drama from Oliver Stone, "W", has been outed by The Playlist. The scanned Vanity Fair's pictures uncover the first look into the complete cabinet of the 43rd and current President of the United States George W. Bush around 2003 from former Secretary of State General Colin Powell to White House Press Secretary Ari Fleischer.

The first image posted at the news' photos displays Jeffrey Wright as former Secretary of State General Colin Powell, Toby Jones as then-Deputy Chief of Staff Karl Rove, Dennis Boutsikaris as ex-Deputy Secretary of Defense Paul Wolfowitz, Richard Dreyfuss as Vice President Dick Cheney and Josh Brolin as Bush.

The September 23 episode of "House M.D." has been given a preview. "Not Cancer" will be the second episode of the series which has just entered its fifth season with an episode called "Dying Changes Everything" where Dr. Wilson announces his departure from the Princeton-Plainsboro Teaching Hospital.

In "Not Cancer", House will hire a private investigator to spy on his team's move as well as Wilson's. The leading medical case this time is when a donor's organs cause several deaths of their recipients. In the last attempts to save the remaining organs receivers, House has to work with the team against time.

Dubbed as the world's top female tennis player, Serena Williams is penning a memoir with the intention it could help inspiring others. An editor for Grand Central Publishing announced Tuesday, September 16 that they will, in fall 2009, publish Serena's memoir of her rise to tennis glory.

Karen Kosztolnyik, a senior editor who acquired the book for Grand Central Publishing after a bidding battle, said "Serena Williams is one of the world's most remarkable athletes. We've watched her rise to No. 1 despite physical and emotional setbacks, and her hard work and determination have inspired legions of fans young and old." Karen added, "Serena will give her memoir a strong motivational slant."

"Trick 'r Treat" has been given the honor to be the opening movie for 2008 Screamfest Horror Film Festival. The Michael Dougherty's directorial feature film debut will be kicking off the U.S. largest horror film festival on October 10 with its screening at the Grauman's Chinese Theatre in Hollywood followed by a Q&A session with Dougherty.

Former Destiny's Child's member LeToya Luckett has revealed a new song called "Somebody Else" where she teams up with multi-platinum R&B singer Avant. The slow jam, which is reminiscent of the singer's hit single "Torn", is reportedly scheduled to be listed in her upcoming sophomore album.

Speaking of her upcoming record, which is tentatively titled "Lady Love", Chris Brown reportedly contributes his song-writing credit in some of her new materials. Reportedly, this movie project which plot is kept under wraps is aimed to aid Miley in her transition to an older role like what "A Walk to Remember" has done to pop singer-turned-actress Mandy Moore in 2002. The preview to "Fringe" 1.03 has been given by Fox. Next week, the team, comprising of FBI agent Olivia Dunham, Dr Walter Bishop and his son Peter, will investigate as well as prevent bad happenings from the eyes of a man with special ability.

Entitled "The Ghost Network", a case is introduced to the team when a bus accident leaves the bodies all wrapped up in some kind of cocoon, frozen. They then meet a man who is able to foresee the future happening before the actual event takes place. Using unconventional method, Dr. Bishop digs out the pattern that the man has in his vision to prevent another event from occurring.

After reportedly receiving some bum reactions, saying that his latest single "Love Lockdown" is "below average" production, rapper Kanye West recently says that he will return in the mixing desk to make a new version of the tune. "Your prayers have been answered!! There's a new version of Love Lockdown coming," Kanye wrote on his personal blog.

Elaborating the written statement, Kanye explained that the new version of the song will have some additional Japanese taiko drum riffs. "We used new taiko drums and I re-sung it ... It's being mastered now ...," the rapper stated.

One of the biggest mysteries in "Beverly Hills, 90210" has been unveiled in the Tuesday, September 16 episode of its spin-off, "90210". The refurbished series of the popular '90s show reveals which of the boys, Kelly Taylor hooked up with after the series ended.

In the episode called "The Bubble", Brenda Walsh, also a character from the past, is responsible for leaking out who the father of Kelly's four-year-old son, Sammy is. It begins when Ryan starts having conversations with Kelly about her ex. Without Kelly's knowledge, Brenda spilled on her past to Ryan, reveling that she is actually still in love with another man who is also the daddy of her son.

In anticipation of their latest thriller's theatrical release on September 26, DreamWorks SKG have rolled down its red carpet to celebrate the L.A. premiere of "Eagle Eye". The special screening event was held at the Grauman's Chinese Theatre in Hollywood on Tuesday, September 16 and was made merry with the streaming in of the Tinseltown's A-listers.

The star-studded extravaganza mostly saw the movie's cast ensemble from Michelle Monaghan and Rosario Dawson to Shia LaBeouf, Billy Bob Thornton and Michael Chiklis. Pop singer Kat Deluna failed to gather praises for singing national anthem at Monday Night Football Game in Dallas on September 15. At the beginning, the 20-year-old singer had a good start but in the middle of her live performance, she forgot some of the lyrics, resulting on disappointed murmur from the Texas crowd.

The negative response also happened due to the addition of several extra lyrics that she threw into the performance to cover the missing ones. To make matters worse, she used violent body gesticulations to match her powerful voice and that got her hard booed by the audience.

With the new season of "Heroes" coming around the corner, NBC have released a number of clips from the popular TV series. Chronicling each of the characters' fate, the six clips will see what happen in the present, the past and the future of the 'ordinary people with special ability'.

The clips include scenes where future Claire holds gun against future Peter, Hiro running his father's company and complimented by Ando, Nathan taken to the hospital, Sylar breaks into Claire's home in attempt to steal her ability, Suresh feeling like giving up his research but prevented by Maya, and when Hiro meets speedster named Daphne.

Instead of having a star-studded birthday bash, Nick Jonas prefers to keep his 16th birthday low key, strolling around his neighborhood and walking his puppy. The youngest of the Jonas Brothers turned 16 on Tuesday, September 16, but there has yet sign that he will have a big celebration to mark the day.

Nick, who alongside his brothers Kevin Jonas and Joe Jonas rise to stardom as Jonas Brothers, was seen spending his day happily walking around his neighborhood in Toluca Lake, California. He took along his pet pooch with him. Being hounded by a throng of paparazzi, he even gave them a thumb up and allowed them to take his pics.

Tom Cruise won't be lending his voice to the green ogre's villain in "Shrek Goes Fourth". His representative Jeff Raymond has debunked the speculation ignited earlier through E! Online stating simply and without further explanation, "As of today, there is no truth to the Tom Cruise-Shrek 4 rumor." On the other hand, DreamWorks have declined to give any comment.

Back on September 4, Cinema Blend sparked speculation that the "War of the Worlds" star may be on the run to give voice to one of the villains in the next installment of the Ogre comedic tale. At the time, the site pointed out that director Mike Mitchell, who is attached to the project, is rumored to be "something of a Tom Cruise fan".

As a follow-up for their acclaimed Grammy nominated record "We Are Pilots", which has been dropped to the market in October 2006, Shiny Toy Guns set to release "Season of Poison" on November 4 under the courtesy of Universal Motown. "Ricochet" is their first single from the upcoming effort and has been heard on radio stations since late August.

Furthermore, the upcoming "Season of Poison" will mark the band's evolution after their vocalist Carah Faye Charnow left the band to pursue other interests. With their new singer, Sisely Treasure, the rockers are said to bring a new complimentary perspective to the band.

Following the next week sneak peek attached to the third episode, another preview for "One Tree Hill" 6.04 has been given along with a clip. The episode will be called "Bridge Over Troubled Water", and the preview is focused on the affair between Deb, Nathan's mother, and Skills.

In the preview, Deb is caught in the act while kissing Skills and the secret relationship was almost discovered by Nathan while Deb was naked in a swimming pool with Skills. The clip meanwhile, takes the scene where Carrie meets Deb in the park and Deb sharing her personal turmoil to Carrie.

A slight hint to the possible new form of Megatron in "Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen" has been let out through a leaked image. Shared out by 2005 Boards Member S250, the new robot mode of the Decepticon's once fallen leader sports what looks like to be an advance canon on his right arm and tank treads for his boots.

Though it is still unclear whether this concept art is a fan-made or the original one, it seems to enforce the previous rumor that Megatron may be taking a tank alternate mode observing from the tank treads. Painted in silver, the pic also exposes that the baddie's left arm is badly damaged. The image of possible new Megatron can be seen via TFW2005.

Megan Fox insisted not to be called lesbian though she openly admitted to have ever dated a female stripper during her high school years. In contrast of a statement issued by Jive/Zomba Records saying that "Womanizer" is the lead single for Britney Spears' forthcoming album, a just-leaked song called "Candy From Strangers" is recently assumed to be the singer's first single in her highly-anticipated album. Entitled "Circus", her upcoming sixth major studio effort is announced to come out on her birthday, December 2.

Speaking of Britney's project, her manager named Larry Rudolph says that her new materials are handled in the professional hands of powerhouse producers. "She's working with a team of top-notch producers and songwriters and we're very excited about what she's accomplished so far," Larry explains as saying.

Universal Pictures have presented movie lovers with a brand new red band trailer of "Role Models". Unlike its trailer which focuses on introducing the two main characters as individuals, this restricted video previews Danny and Wheeler as friends stuck in the same situation and must rely on each other to get past the mentorship program given to them as punishment for their ill behavior.

Danny and Wheeler are energy drink company representatives. While sarcastic Danny works as the company spokesman, charming Wheeler takes the inspirational mascot part. Having a bad day with their job, they top it off by crashing a company truck on an energy drink-fueled bender causing them to choose either to go to jail or do 150 service hours of a mentorship program. Taking on what they believe to be the easiest way out from jail, they choose the latter and take on the 'Sturdy Wings' program to much of their surprise.

Much contrary to the mounting speculation, a representative and friend of Miley Cyrus deny she's dating underwear model Justin Gaston, whom she's been spotted with during the weekend. Both her representative and friend insist she and Justin are just friends and nothing more.

Miley and Justin sparked dating rumors after they were seen walking hand-in-hand, heading for Sunday service at a church in Pasadena, California on September 14. The male model even was spotted later that day watching her performance at Disney's Concert for Hope.

Tonight (September 17), The CW will air the transformation segment of "America's Next Top Model" and a bunch of new clips from the episode has been given out. Focusing on one contestant named Clark, one of the clips shows the 19-year-old going through extreme makeover from a blond to a brunette.

Clark is given more volume with extensions and her hair is dyed dark brown. Another model, Isis is given straight weave, and she is featured on the second clip where the photo shoot takes place in Malibu. The third clip shows the models in the judging room, particularly when Elina is called forward.

The month of horror is literally weeks away and with that in mind, a rare first look into forthcoming horror thriller "The Wolfman" is going to be debuted. Taking part in Universal Studios Hollywood's 2008 "Halloween Horror Night", the sneak peek will be presented as part of the theme park's unique "Terror Tram".

Set for the attendees riding along the "Terror Tram: The Nightmare Tour", the footage from Joe Johnston's classic 1941 horror reboot is said to be screened on the tram's LED screens towards the end of the ride. On the ride itself, it is noted that "Terror Tram" will take the attendees on an unforgettable experience that brings them from the studio's infamous landmarks, such as the Bates Motel and Psycho House, to the tortured landscape of "War of the Worlds".

Shortly after stating that they have no problems having fans as their girlfriends, Jonas Brothers reveal their confidence that one day they would have their biggest fans as life partners. Reaching out to their fans through a post, titled "Ask Us Anything" on their their MySpace blog, the band answer questions about dating and touring that are asked more than others.

Responding to the question of "Would you ever date a fan? OR Have you ever dated someone who is not famous?", the brothers wrote "The answer is YES." They continued revealing, "We have already dated fans or girls that are not celebrities. In fact, we really like to believe that the girl we will spend our lives with will be our biggest 'fan.'"
