NME.com has hinted last week that Oasis will make an announcement within this week regarding their next move. The band apparently will release a new single called 'Lord Don't Slow Me Down' which is also the title of their upcoming documentary.

The single will be released digitally on October 21 and to radio outlets on October 1. Its music video will also be played for the first time on YouTube on October 1. An exclusive digital bundle containing the live version of 'The Meaning of Soul' and 'Don't Look Back in Anger' is also offered in separate package.

Bringing up a casting update on Steven Spielberg's "Lincoln", Newsweek has revealed that Sally Field is joining Liam Neeson to take starring part in the famed filmmaker's biographical take on the 16th U.S. president Abraham Lincoln.

Here the two-time Oscar winner will portray Lincoln's wife Mary Todd, whom he married on November 4, 1842 after a troubled engagement that was marked by at least one breakup. Meanwhile, Neeson has already been billed as the titular character.

Looks like three is still far from enough for both Denzel Washington and Tony Scott. Report from Daily Variety has brought in info that the two are going to work together once again in "The Taking of Pelham 1, 2, 3" for Columbia Pictures.

Project turns out to be a remake of the 1974 action thriller which was based on the novel by Morton Freedgood who wrote it under the pseudonym John Godey. The original story centers on a New York Transit cop sent to stop a group of terrorists hijacking a subway car for a million dollar ransom. The Caped Crusader will soon leave the Windy City to next cross the ocean to Hong Kong, China for the second installment of its rebooted franchise "The Dark Knight", local newspaper The Standard has confirmed on its official site.

Set to commence shooting there in November, pic will use locations that include the Central-Mid-Levels escalator plus some parts of Queen's Road Central and The Centre as the crew carries out the filming for nine days. His longtime girlfriend Sara MacDonald gave birth to a baby boy in London at 11.15 am. The 7lb 5oz boy has been named Donovan Rory MacDonald Gallagher. Both mother and child are doing well, his spokeswoman confirmed in a statement.

Dennis Rodman can never have enough of publication, unfortunately for the bad ones. The former basketball player has been accused of sexual battery for allegedly slapping a woman's ass.

According to TMZ.com, the unfortunate took place at Hennessy's Tavern in Dana Point, near Laguna Beach. Sources in the know told the entertainment Website that Rodman allegedly slapped the woman's rear so hard that it left a "major mark."

Take That has just released a new video for their new off-the-album single, 'Rule the World'. The band is featured recording the song with other musicians and since the song is utilized as the soundtrack of 'Stardust', scenes from the recently premiered movie appear now and then.

The music video was premiered on Channel 4 on Saturday, September 22. The song itself will be released as a CD single on October 22 with a reportedly, a new song as the B-side. It can first be digitally downloaded on October 19.

Richie Sambora is heading for rehab, again. The Bon Jovi guitarist checked into the famed Cirque Lodge in Utah on Monday September 17th where actress-singer Lindsay Lohan is receiving treatment for her addiction.

This is Sambora's second visit to rehab this year. He spent a week at the UCLA Medical Center back on June 6th following his break up with girlfriend Denise Richards.
