Eve Moving on with Sean Paul Duet

While fans are still jiggling to her "Tambourines", rapper Eve adds a new released single from the album "Here I Am". The second single she chose from the new record is "Give It to You" featuring Sean Paul.

"That's my favorite song on the album," she said in an interview. "It's definitely upbeat like 'Tambourine.' It's reggae, the beat is Spanish, it's a nice collaboration of sound. Another summer joint. It's a club song. Working with Sean, I've known him for years, but for some reason we never got to do a song together. It looked like we weren't going to get to do this song either 'cause he's so busy, but we talk on the phone and e-mail."

William Wisher Jr. Hatches an "Escape" Scheme

Busily penning "Pilgrim" apparently does not make William Wisher Jr. throw out chance to work on another stint. Variety has brought in report informing that the "Terminator 2: Judgment Day" scribe is set to both write and produce "Escape of the Pacific Clipper" for 20th Century Fox.

A fact-based adventure about a race to get a Boeing B-314 back from New Zealand after the attack on Pearl Harbor in WWII, the movie revolves around a ragtag crew of 11 who gets ordered to take the aircraft to Hong Kong. Upon finding out that the region has been overrun by the Japanese, the crew is assigned by Pan Am chief Juan Trippe to fly a secret mission around the world yet the task soon becomes public, leading the crew to race against the Japanese and Nazis to make it home.

Bob Dylan Beats Alanis for Angriest Song

A poll by Rolling Stone magazine to determine which makes the angriest love song surprisingly points to an old tune by Bob Dylan. "Don't Think Twice, It's All Right" tops the list of songs with fuming content.

The classic was written by Dylan back in 1962 for the album "The Freewheelin' Bob Dylan". The 66-year-old singer once defined the song as "a statement that maybe you can say to make yourself feel better...as if you were talking to yourself."

Djimon Hounsou Able to "Get Some"

No doubt will bring highlight to the picture, Djimon Hounsou has signed on to have a starring role in dramatic feature "Get Some", the first movie greenlit by the revamped Summit Entertainment.

Also featuring Sean Faris and Cam Gigandet in the cast, the project focuses on a rebellious teen, played by Faris, who gets coerced into an underground fight club amid difficulties in adapting to his new high school.

"The Alchemist" Under Laurence Fishburne's Command

Taking full control on the flick, Laurence Fishburne has teamed up with indie studio A-Mark Entertainment to secure feature rights to "The Alchemist" from Warner Brothers Entertainment, Inc..

Fishburne initially was confirmed to take starring part in the project in late December 2005 as well as to pen the script and direct. Not only that, he will also produce alongside "The Lord of the Rings" trilogy producer Barrie Osborne and Helen Sugland, whom he previously joined forces with in producing "Akeelah and the Bee."

Pharrell Williams Shaping Up Brazil's Live Earth

It's Brazil's turn to know its Live Earth lineup. On the headlining bill are Pharrell Williams, Lenny Kravitz and Macy Gray.

The three acts will be joined by lesser-known outfits such as Xuxa, O Rappa, Marcelo D2, Jorge Ben Jor, Jota Quest, Vanessa Da Matta and Mv Bill. These musicians are expected to please a huge crowd that gathered in capital city Rio de Janeiro, as this leg is the only one with free admission.

Stephen St. Leger and James Mather Stumble Upon the "Lost Squad"

Finally can put a push on its project of "Lost Squad", Rogue Pictures has hired both Stephen St. Leger and James Mather to carry out the writing and helming duties for the movie.

Pic is a big screen adaptation of the Devil's Due Publishing comic book miniseries of the same name written by Chris Kirby and drawn by Alan Robinson. The original presents a story about the supernatural action-adventures of a squad of U.S. soldiers who fight Hitler's occult agents and other supernatural threats during World War II.

Rage Confirmed as 2007 Vegoose Act

After erupting only as a rumor, Rage Against the Machine is confirmed as the headliner of 2007 Vegoose Music Festival. The event will be one of few Rage's reunited live acts this year.

"We're very excited about the lineup and thrilled to be bringing Vegoose back to Vegas for a third year," said Jonathan Mayers, president of Superfly that produces this year's event. The organizers went on that full line-up will be announced in mid-July.

Paramount Forms "The Foundation"

Finding a good property to flourish, Paramount Pictures is going to make a new film feature titled "The Foundation" which will be an adaptation of the upcoming comic book to be published by Boom! Studios, The Hollywood Reporter has learned.

Created by John Rozum and Kody Chamberlain, the original, a five-issue miniseries, uses the prophesies of Nostradamus as its backdrop to present a story centering on a secret team in the present day who utilizes the prophet's published and unpublished works to predict threats to the world.

Weezer Coming Out of Closed Door with New Set

Weezer is jolted back to life with recent posting by Rivers Cuomo. The band's frontman wrote in the official website that a number of songs are being cooked in the studio.

Cuomo announced, "Hey Party-People, Weezer is just polishing up a batch of songs for a recording session that is going to start at the beginning of July. This will be the final recording session for our sixth album which we aim to put out in the first half of 2008. We hope you are all having good times. Love, R-Dawg."

Isaiah Washington in Talks with NBC, to Appear on "Larry King Live"

There it is, after numbers of bad report Isaiah Washington is moving on. The actor, who's been fired from ABC's hit show "Grey's Anatomy" in early June, reportedly is in preliminary discussions with NBC about a deal on an undisclosed project.

Isaiah told Entertainment Weekly recently that he and his agent "are sorting through a ton of offers in both film and TV ... There is one network in particular that's very interested, but I don't want to say anything specific until it's a done deal."

In his first post-"Spider-Man 3" interview, the franchise director Sam Raimi eagerly told MTV News what he has in mind about "Spider-Man 4" which Sony Pictures has officially confirmed to be made along with two other installments.

Confessing he does not know what his future holds yet regarding the franchise, the noted filmmaker, however, did admit that he would love to get back for the fourth part if there is a great story to tell to yet leaves it up to Sony Pictures for the decision.

Seemingly following the main trend in music industry lately, pop crooner Vanessa Carlton stepped up with R&B producer Irving "Gotti" Lorenzo for her next album. Gotti admits to play the role as "co-pilot" in Carlton's third album "Heroes and Thieves".

In late 2006, Carlton was signed by Gotti's recording house "The Inc." to do a record under the label. Those asked to come on board for this project are 7 Aurelius, Rick Rubin and Third Eye Blind lead singer Stephan Jenkins, who also did his part in Carlton's second album "Harmonium".

Two Hear the "Pretty Bird" Chirp

Both going for a smaller scale in their next move, Paul Giamatti and Emily Mortimer are poised to topline an indie comedy entitled "Pretty Bird" which actor Paul Schneider is set to direct, JoBlo has reported.

In the project, Giamatti is said to play a lovable loser who intends to invent a rocket belt in hopes that it will make him famous. Keen to reach his goal, he then enlists help from some of his friends -- only they succeed, and subsequently begin to turn on one another. Meanwhile, Mortimer will be billed to portray a young woman named Mandy who serves as the Director of Marketing for their rocket belt operation.

More than 110,000 votes on the People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA)'s annual contest on the "World's Sexiest Vegetarians" have been counted and the organization made public the results Tuesday June 26th, ending a month-long poll on PETA.org.

Among the winners mentioned is Carrie Underwood who's named PETA's World's Sexiest Vegetarian Woman for 2007, thus marking her second win as "World's Sexiest Vegetarian" as she previously also won the title in the 2005 poll. Meanwhile, leader of NBC's "Tonight Show" band Kevin Eubanks voted PETA's World's Sexiest Vegetarian Man.

Oscar Duo Deemed the 2007 BET Awards' Best Actress/Actor

Honoring the dedication shown by the African Americans and other minorities in the entertainment industry, the Black Entertainment Television network proudly named winners for its BET Awards as it celebrated the event for the seventh time Tuesday, June 26 at Los Angeles' Shrine Auditorium.

For the acting categories, the network finally selected Jennifer Hudson as the Best Actress and Forest Whitaker the Best Actor. Both previously took home the same titles at this year's Academy Awards, held February 25, Hudson being honored for her role in "Dreamgirls" while Whitaker for "The Last King of Scotland."

While the music and movie figures celebrated their winning at this year BET Awards, held Tuesday night June 26th, some of the athletes also cheered on their award winning.

Among the athletes honored during the award event was professional basketball player LeBron James who currently plays for the Cleveland Cavaliers of the National Basketball Association (NBA). The so-called King James won the award for Best Male Athlete. As of the Best Female Athlete, the award was given to American former World No. 1 ranked female tennis player Serena Williams.

Though the story of The Bride aka Beatrix Kiddo in "Kill Bill" is perceived to be concluded at the end of the flick, matters of revenge apparently have not been settled yet, and it seems that's what filmmakers of the movie have in mind.

According to CriEnglish.com via Hangzhou's City Express, the film's executive producer E. Bennett Walsh has revealed at the Shanghai International Film Festival that plots have been shaped for two sequels to the kung fu action picture and there is a chance director Quentin Tarantino will return to China to shoot them.

Second and final wave of 2007 BET Awards winners have taken course as Ne-Yo named the Best Male R&B Artist. Within the acceptance speech, the singer dedicated the winning to the late Gerald Levert, who became the recipient of this year's BETJ Cool Like Dat.

Levert who died in November 2006 became the main subject of the emotional moment of the night. His father Eddie sang his most performed song "Wind Beneath My Wings" and was joined by divas Gladys Knight, Patti LaBelle and Yolanda Adams. Labelle continued by saying that Gerald has "one of the best voices around" and that "his life was embodied with soul music".
