Only few days after being said to topline Edward Zwick's "Defiance", Daniel Craig has again landed a new acting stint for his burgeoning resume.

The actor reportedly is about to star in a dramatic feature entitled "Flashbacks of a Fool", which details the story of a hedonistic British actor whose Hollywood career begins to nosedive in his 40s. His childhood friend's death causes him to journey back home for the funeral and so, prompts flashbacks to his teenage experiences, including the tragedy that forced him to flee for a new life.

It's been quite a long time since filmgoers saw Julia Roberts stunningly play a real-life character in "Erin Bronkovich", but need not weary, folks for she soon will step once again into the area in her new project.

Yes, the Oscar-winning actress is said to have reunited with Working Title Films to develop together a movie about wildlife conservationist Joan Root, who got murdered earlier this year in her Kenyan home. Here, she will take double duty as the leadstar and producer, the latter being conducted via her Red Om Films.

"Robosapien" Assembled in November

Progress in bringing a movie inspired by the best-selling intelligent robot Robosapien to life seems to go rather smoothly in the follow-up to the announcement about the project made by toy company Wowwee Ltd. back in early March.

Variety has brought in news reporting that the flick has already been set to enter production this November in the U.S. using budget between $25 million-$30 million. "Raise Your Voice" director Sean McNamara is attached to helm from script written by Max Botkin and Avi Arad, who is also on duty to produce alongside Steven Paul.

Heading for the same destination, Shannyn Sossamon, Vinnie Jones, Christopher Lee, George Harris, Gary Stretch, Stephen Rea, Geoff Bell, and Jean Marsh have all signed on to bring highlight to "The Heavy", a crime thriller set up at Parkland Pictures' pit.

Pic concerns a henchman (Stretch) who is forced to forgive a debt to his shady businessman boss (Rea) by killing his own brother, a high profile politician. The plan, however, begins to unravel when he gets involved with a student (Sossamon), whose flat he plans to use for the crime, and a corrupt detective (Jones) gets on his trail.

Pulling out "Without Remorse" from the state of being trapped in development hell, Relativity Media has announced Thursday, May 17 that the big screen project is getting set up under its banner from now on alongside period epic "Mary Queen of Scots."

An adaptation of Tom Clancy's best-selling novel of the same title, pic takes focus on former Navy SEAL and CIA operative John Kelly, code-named Mr. Clark, who first appeared in 1994's "Clear and Present Danger." It initially was developed at Paramount Pictures with John Singleton attached to helm, but sadly being put into turnaround last year by the giant company.

"Hairspray" Songs Melted into Soundtrack CD

After lining up renowned names for the cast of "Hairspray", New Line is now adding the musical film anticipation with its soundtrack release. The soundtrack that will feature the original voice of the cast will premiere 10 days before its movie.

In debt of this project is New Line Records that will release the first single from the 17-tracks-album on May 15. Zac Efron's "Ladies' Choice" is made the very first single which will be available for digital download. Apart from Efron's song, there will also be other two other original scores titled "New Girl in Town" and "Come So Far" that were created specially for the film version of the Broadway musical.

Following the two sold out shows at Wembley Stadium, Muse has arranged a unique line-up to support their act. Not only coming from rock genre, Muse selected their favorite musicians such as Mexican acoustic duo Rodrigo Y Gabriela and rapper The Streets.

Muse tapped Mike Skinner aka The Streets to be the main support for their first gig on June 16 while having Rodrigo Y Gabriela as the other supporting act.
