Slated to provoke good laughs from moviegoers, Ricky Gervais and Greg Kinnear have both agreed to team up in highlighting a romantic comedy feature entitled "Ghost Town (2009)", The Hollywood Reporter has revealed.

A DreamWorks Pictures production, the picture concerns a dentist who dies briefly during routine dental surgery and gains the ability to see dead people who ask him for help in contacting the living.

Rush Announces 2007 Itinerary

After announcing the release date of "Snakes & Arrows", Rush finally brings it together with tour dates.

The trek will begin June 13 at HiFi Buys Amphitheatre, Atlanta, stop at other venues such as Tampa, San Diego and Seattle before wrapping up on September 21 at ScotiaBank Place, Ottawa. Then the tour will continue with European dates that start in Glagow, Scotland on October 3 until Oct 29 in Helsinki, Findland.

Bee Gees is not only invited to the private awards dinner of Broadcast Music Incorporated, but will also be honored with Icon Award. The lifetime achievement award will be handed to the surviving members, Barry and Robin Gibb on May 15.

Held at Regent Beverly Wilshire Hotel, it is not certain whether the brothers will perform as a duo. After all, the only sang twice since the death of Maurice. If they are not to play, then other artists will take the place by singing their hits.

Supporting this event are metalcore band Atreyu, alternative rock band Flyleaf, trash metal band Trivium and the newly formed rock band Hellyeah. "It's gonna rock," he typed on the computer. One of Korn's members, David Silveria meanwhile, will not be present because he is in hiatus.

Four Becoming "Hitman" Targets

Begin to line up names following the inclusions of Timothy Olyphant and Dougray Scott, the filmmakers of "Hitman" have successfully enticed the likes of Olga Kurylenko, Robert Knepper, Ulrich Thomsen, and Michael Offei to gather together in the film's cast, Variety has learned.

Adapted from the Eidos popular video game, the thriller finds Olyphant assuming the role of Agent 47 who is hired by a group dubbed "The Agency" to kill targets for cash. Things, however, go awry for him as he later ends up being chased by Interpol and the Russian military as well as Scott's character.

Indie band Spoon has confirmed two things that have been waited by their fans. The sixth album will hit the stores by July 10th and the title is "Ga Ga Ga Ga Ga". Yes, that is 5 GAs.

There will be 10 tracks in the album that follows 2005 "Gimme Fiction". Unknowingly, whether intended or not, some of tracks are strangely spelled such as "Rhthm and Soul", "You Got Yr Cherry Bomb" and "Don't You Evah". Others raise questions just by the titles like "Black Like Me" and "Eddie's Ragga".

CL Communications as the festival's organizer has been persistent that the show scheduled in late April would go on despite the boycott threat. Reilly, the flick sees the actor play a fictional musician with shades of Roy Orbison and Johnny Cash named Dewey Cox whose professional and personal ups and downs become the center of the story. Also starring are funnyman David Koechner, SNL member Kristen Wiig, and "The Office" star Jenna Fischer who is said to portray a June Carter Cash-like love interest for Cox.

A remake of the 1980 slasher classic directed by Paul Lynch, the project revolves around a group of youth who are stalked by a masked killer at their high school dance. Here Elba will portray a police detective with names like Brianne Davis, Jana Kramer, and Hugh Scott also taking roles.

No Wolves in Evanescence's New Video

Evanescence recently completed the shooting of their new video "Sweet Sacrifice". Unlike the previous videos, vocalist Amy Lee said, it's a non-crazy one where wolves, tricks and stuffs will not be present.

Directed by Paul Brown who has worked with Audioslave, this video suits the band's favor. "It's mostly live performance," she said in a statement "It's more really just about the song, and that is unique for us." Going a bit metaphoric, the video took the set of a four-wall room which is inspired by Jennifer Lopez's movie "The Cell" (2000). "Like we're in the walls of our minds, sort of," she continued.

Sinead O'Connor Goes 'Clear' in "Theology"

Departing from her independent label That's Why There's Chocolate and Vanilla, Sinead O'Connor signed deal with Koch Records for new album. Her twelfth album will be released in a double CD format under the title "Theology" on June 22.

The two CDs will consist of the same songs but with different versions. One CD employs the acoustic and voice sound only while the other is presented in a full musical rendition. Two of the tracks "If You Had a Vineyard" and "Jeremiah (Something Beautiful)" have been issued for free download in her official website.

Seems to have no shortage of offers for this year, Vera Farmiga has given her agreement to take starring part in Holocaust-prestige feature "The Boy in the Striped Pajamas" for Miramax Films.

An adaptation of the best-selling novel by Irish writer John Boyne, the dramatic flick focuses on a boy from a German family moving into Auschwitz who befriends a kid from the town's concentration camp. It is said that Farmiga will be billed as the German boy's mother, who grows horrified as she begins to know the truth about the camp.

Anna Nicole Smith's Death Is an Accidental Overdose

The big question finally is answered as it was revealed Monday March 26th that Anna Nicole Smith's death is an accidental overdose of prescription drugs.

Officials said there are at least nine prescription drugs, including methadone and anti-anxiety drugs, among others that killed Smith. In a detailed autopsy report released that day, a medical examiner noted Smith refused to go to a hospital three days before her Feb. 8 death. She chose to ride out her illness in a hotel suite littered with pill bottles, soda cans, SlimFast, nicotine gum and an open box of Tamiflu tablets.
