"Native Soil" Confronts Swank & Costner

The September 11 attack seemingly captivates many sympathies that number of moviegoers willing to make a document of it. Just like her many other celebrity pals, Hollywood actress Hilary Swank and actor Kevin Costner also willing to do something in relation with that, in which both will narrate the upcoming film "On Native Soil: The Documentary of the 9/11 Commission Report."

As it's been reported both of them are set to share voice-over duties for the feature-length film on the September 11, 2001, terror attacks, which is directed by former NBC News producer Linda Ellman. "On Native Soil" will tell five stories of survival and examine the 9/11 Commission's final recommendations. Also it will feature interviews with people such as the victims' families, Sen. John McCain, a former FBI counter-terrorism official and the former head of the CIA's Osama bin-Laden desk.

"Walk the Line" Premieres

Walk the Line picture
"Walk the Line" of Johnny Cash will have its world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival in September, while will be released domestically on November 18. Starring in the James Mangold direction is Joaquin Phoenix and Reese Witherspoon. As for the festival itself, it will run September 8-17.

Em Hanging Up The Microphone

Can you believe it? There won't be any more encores from Detroit-based rapper Eminem. At least that's what the Detroit Free Press reported Friday.

Citing sources close to the star, the Free Press says the real Slim Shady will play his last concert in Dublin, Ireland on September 17. Moreover, it's also claimed that his current album "Encore" will probably become his last release as he's been planning on retiring to concentrate on production and other ventures.
