Tarantino & Jackson Dating???

Quentin Tarantino and Shar Jackson were seen together in Las Vegas, Nevada, last weekend acting like a couple. Even more, onlookers at Nobu restaurant tell Us Weekly magazine they saw them "held hands like a couple" and were "very touchy." Though Jackson spokesperson declined those reports and insisted they are just friends celebrating her mother's birthday, still many believe both dating.

Lyme Stops Hall & Oates Shows

Pop music duo Hall & Oates have to reluctantly postpone their up to 16 tour dates this summer because Darryl Hall has been diagnosed with Lyme disease, which is a tick-borne malady that usually causes flu-like symptoms for a few weeks. Due to that fact, Hall is recovering at his home in upstate New York and is expected to make a full recovery, publicist Jonathan Wolfson said Wednesday.

Their being spotted together in New York, where Ashley Olsen is a student at New York University, provokes further rumors, showing evidences that both Olsen and Jared Leto are dating. Really?! Regardless of the speculation, a source tells magazine Us Weekly, the 19-year-old TV and movie star is "like a giddy schoolgirl who has a new man." Time will tell then.

Oprah Honored National Freedom Award

She's a smart, generous and kindhearted person. Running a media company that includes her television show, this female star is being recognized for working to improve the lives of poor children in Africa and helping create a U.S. database of convicted child abusers. Accordingly, it's needless to comment on her being listed as recipient of the National Civil Rights Museum's top honor, mainly for the National Freedom Award. And so, Oprah Winfrey is set to receive the honor by November this year.

World Goes "Fantastic"

Originally planned for a June 29 release, 20th Century Fox made up its mind and tend to postpone the "Fantastic Four" for a July 7 release in an attempt to avoid clashing with the debut of "War of the Worlds," which led the box-office with about $77 million over the long July 4 holiday weekend. As for the plot, "Fantastic Four" tells the story of four astronauts who are transformed into superheroes by cosmic rays.

Please Welcome "The Doll"

"The Lonely Doll," a project based on the life of Dare Wright, the author and photographer of the eponymous children's book and its sequels, is scheduled to begin shooting in summer 2006. The movie will tell about the close relationship between the childlike Wright and her mother, a well-known portrait artist and single mom in the 1950s.

Eastwood & Pals Hoist the "Flag"

The movie "Flags of Our Fathers," which is based on James Bradley's book "Flags of Our Fathers: Heroes of Iwo Jima," is scheduled to begin shooting next month in Iceland, Washington, Los Angeles and Chicago. Will co-produce the Paul Haggis adaptation is DreamWorks Pictures, responsible for the domestic distribution, and Warner Bros. Pictures with the international one. Clint Eastwood himself, along with Steven Spielberg will be producing the movie.

Carey Belongs to No. 1 Single Chart

For a second consecutive week Thursday and a sixth week overall, Mariah Carey's "We Belong Together" from her album "The Emancipation of Mimi," ruled Billboard's Hot 100 singles chart. Subsequent to her was Gwen Stefani, whose "Hollaback Girl" rose two places to No. 2. Also rose two places to No. 3 on the Hot 100 was the Black Eyed Peas' "Don't Phunk With My Heart," while "American Idol" winner Carrie Underwood's version of "Inside Your Heaven" slipped one place to No. 4. Meanwhile her Idol rival Bo Bice's version of the same track dropped three places to No. 5.
