Reeves' Wedding Rumors are "Completely False"

Recently several British newspapers claimed actor Keanu Reeves has had a secret wedding ceremony last month at a small restaurant in Los Angeles which was only attended by family and friends. His bride was reportedly his ex-girlfriend, actress Autumn Macintosh. Untrue those rumors, Reeves has, through his spokeswoman, branded the allegations "completely false."

Blues Icon's $10 Million Museum

There in a Mississippi Delta town, where the Blues icon B.B. King used to live, is built a $10 million museum honoring him. Marking the museum Friday groundbreaking, the star joined local and state grandees attending the festivities, who among others were Lt. Gov. Amy Tuck, House speaker Billy McCoy and former Govs. William Winter and Ray Mabus.

During his two minutes at the podium, King said he was "happy and nervous" about the celebration and hopes that the museum will later on inspire a new generation of musicians and artists.

The $996,000 Babe Ruth Sale Contract

"I was prepared to pay almost whatever it took. I'm not saying a billion dollars, but whatever price I needed to secure it." That's what Pete Siegel, head of Manhattan-based Gotta Have It Collectibles, said during a Friday auction for the December 26, 1919, contract that shipped Babe Ruth from Boston to the Bronx.

And there it goes the contract, signed by owners Harry Frazee of the Red Sox and Jacob Ruppert of Yankees, to Pete for a staggering $996,000. The amount undoubtedly nearly double the presale estimate for the contract and nearly 10 times the $100,000 cost of purchasing Ruth. Above all, the amazing bidding has gratified a hunger-relief group who is designated to receive a financial windfall from the sale.

Watts Induces IFC Center Opening

The grand opening of the Independent Film Channel's new independent cinema hub, held Thursday night, has been celebrated by many movie-lovers, including Naomi Watts, Harvey Weinstein, John Sayles, Alfonso Cuaron and many others.

The IFC Center is located in the former Waverly Theater and an adjacent building in Greenwich Village, and houses three theaters, two editing suites and a restaurant and bar. Marking the grand opening, IFC hopes the center will serve as a focal point for the indie film community.

Duo "Brooks & Dunn" to Reprise Hosting Duties

Jiggeri + Atlantic = Jiggeri/Atlantic Records

The 32-year-old Puerto Rican rapper Tego Calderon takes one step forward in music industry, creating the label Jiggeri/Atlantic. The new label comes about as a result of his, along with his company Jiggiri Records, teaming up with Atlantic Records.

Personally, Calderon admits that the establishment of the new label is, indeed, a huge step for him and for Latin American music, under which he could reach worldwide distribution deal. Speaking about their joint action, co-chairman of Atlantic Records, Craig Kallman, said "Tego has been the heart and soul of the reggeaton movement."

Timberlake & Diaz's Settlement with Photographers

Photographers Saul Lazo and Jose Gonzalez have both alleged pop singer Justin Timberlake and his girlfriend Cameron Diaz to have taunted and threatened them before the actress finally beat Lazo and took his camera. Though later Diaz handed the camera over to police, the incident was unfortunately caught on camera by another snapper who later sold his pictures to American magazine Us Weekly.

According to her confession to police, Diaz said that she took the camera merely because she wanted to know who the snapper was. In contrast, she and Justin alleged both photographers harassed and jumped out of bushes on them in an attempt to provoke an angry reaction. On their side, Saul and Jose blasted the couple allegations, insisting they stood more than 10 feet away from them on public property the whole time.

Coldplay "X & Y" Album to Enter the Record Books

The hard work the British band Coldplay has done in completing their much anticipated album "X & Y" finally is paid off. According to the data released on Sunday evening, the album has been sold as many as 450,000 copies in its first week since its Monday release, verifying it to certainly top this week's album charts.

On top of that album success to reach the top chart, with such achievement of selling, "X & Y" is set to enter the record books. HMV spokesman Gennaro Castaldo, furthermore, predicted the album would probably "sell somewhere in the region of 15 million copies, confirming Coldplay's level of superstardom." Congrats bro.
