August 31, 2009 10:08:28The complete winners of 36th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards are revealed as the show wrapped up on Sunday, August 30 at Los Angeles' Orpheum Theatre. There is no domination apparent in the list, but the highlight of the day was when "The Bold and the Beautiful" finally nabbed the Outstanding Drama Series after years of being nominated under the category.
In its 22 years of running, "Bold and Beautiful" was denied the trophy while others like "General Hospital" and "The Young and the Restless" kept getting multiple wins. This year, "Bold and Beautiful" beat "All My Children" and "Days of Our Lives". Unfortunately, as the crew and cast were about to ascend the stage for acceptance speech, the show went off air from The CW due to over timing.

Plump with two nominations under their belts are "Rachael Ray", "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" and "Live with Regis and Kelly". All three of them compete against each other under the category of Talk Show/Entertainment and their hosts are in the run for Talk Show Host along with "The View" ladies Joy Behar, Whoopi Goldberg, Elisabeth Hasselbeck, Sherri Shepherd, and Barbara Walters.

The pictures, unveiled Thursday, January 24, were created for the "Disney Dream Portrait Series" to celebrate Disney Parks' "Year of a Million Dreams" which Disneyland Resort in California and Walt Disney World Resort in Florida have decided to extend through 2008.

There it is, after days of chatter and speculation, it is confirmed on Wednesday August 1st that Whoopi Goldberg is joining ABC's daytime television talk show "The View," filling in Rosie O'Donnell's seat following her abrupt departure in May.
The show's creator and co-host Barbara Walters announced at the end of Wednesday's broadcast that Oscar-winning actress Goldberg will join the daytime program on September 4th when the show returns from summer hiatus for its 11th season.

Whoopi Goldberg and Sherri Shepherd are two strong candidates to be added to "The View". The two stars are in final negotiations to join the ABC daytime show as regular cast members following the departure of Rosie O'Donnell and former co-host Star Jones Reynolds.
Details on the negotiation are being kept under wrap and will not be made public until next week.

Starting from July 31, Whoopi Goldberg will host a live, syndicated program, "Wake Up With Whoopi," joining the growing ranks of radio voices. It's a live weekday program aimed at women, to air on mostly adult contemporary stations nationwide.
"I'm going to talk to people. People are going to talk to me. I'm going to be singing and dancing in my chair. I'm going to wake people up," Goldberg said while adding "I want to have a good time in the morning and I want everyone who wakes up with me to have a good time."

Let's hope "Farce of the Penguins", the forthcoming spoof of the Oscar-winning documentary "March of the Penguins", will score the same success in movie industry. One thing for sure the comedy adventure, which veteran actor Samuel L. Jackson has agreed to narrate, is loaded with an all-star supporting voice cast.
The film director Bob Saget also is set to supply the voice of several characters in the flick aimed for a late-summer theatrical release. "Farce of the Penguins" is said as the story of "one penguin's search for love while on a 70-mile (112-km) trek with his libidinous buddies on their way to a hedonistic mating ritual."

The 20th Century Fox's family comedy which previously known as "Yankee Irving," is being re-titled, so IDT Entertainment has announced. The film project is now titled "Everyone's Hero" and its release date is pushed back from August 25 to September 15.
The film originally version "Yankee Irving" was directed by Christopher Reeve but following the actor's death, Colin Brady and Dan St. Pierre take over the duty. As of "Everyone's Hero", the story centers on a boy travels across the country on a mission to return Babe Ruth's bat before the deciding game of the 1932 World Series. Along the way, he meets a quirky array of characters that aid him on his comic journey.
