September 04, 2008 09:09:18Forbes.com has just unveiled its list of Primetime TV's 20 Top-Earning Women and sitting on the very top of the list is retired model Tyra Banks. Putting her modeling career on hold and in the meantime invading the silver screen with her daytime talk show, "The Tyra Banks Show", and serving as producer and judge on "America's Next Top Model," the beauty banked around $23 million from June 1, 2007 to June 1, 2008.
Fellow catwalk queen Heidi Klum comes 2nd on the list, taking in a reported $14 million earning from her role as host of "Project Runway," her renewed Victoria's Secret contract, designing deals and a number of advertising campaigns. Both supermodels best TV actress Katherine Heigl, best known for her role as Izzie Stevens on ABC's "Grey's Anatomy," who earned $13 million over the course of the year.

The series which grabbed 13 nods for a total of eight categories nabbed the awards for the categories of Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series for its star Jeanne Cooper, Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series for Kristoff St. John, and the Outstanding Achievement in Art Direction/Set Decoration/Scenic Design For A Drama Series.
