Scott Stapp, Creed former frontman, was arrested Sunday May 20th at his home in Boca Raton, Florida, and charged with assault related to domestic violence, stemmed from an apparent confrontation with his wife, former Miss New York Jaclyn Nesheiwat.
Speaking on the unfortunate, a sheriff spokesman explained, Stapp returned to his residence at about 8 a.m. after a long night of partying and was confronted by wife Jaclyn who began quizzing him on where he'd been. At that point, he became defensive and the couple started arguing.

Scott Stapp and his wife, Jaclyn Nesheiwat, joyously welcomed the arrival of their first child Thursday January 4th. The newlyborn, a baby girl, is named Milan Hayat Stapp.
A statement from his record company claimed the baby's name reflects her parents' roots: Milan was chosen from Stapp's Cherokee heritage and means "to have the creativity of God," while Hayat draws from her mother's Jordanian upbringing and means "to give life."

A tentative agreement to extend a judge's order blocking the release of an explicit sex video featuring Kid Rock and pal Scott Stapp has been reached between Rock's lawyers and World Wide Red Light District.
And so as the agreement has been reached there won't be another court hearing, so said William Horton, a lawyer for Rock who spoke to The Detroit News. Further the newspaper writes that paperwork to permanently block the release of the tape is expected to be filed early next week.

The sex video incident has consequences. Tuesday March 14th, 2006 Scott Stapp filed a federal lawsuit in Los Angeles against World Wide Red Light District, the California company responsible for distributing a sex video featuring himself, Kid Rock and four women.
In his lawsuit the former Creed singer alleges that two tapes, described as a "video diary" of his 1999 concert tour, were stolen from a safe at his house. More on the suit Stapp claims that Red Light District has violated his trademark and privacy rights, causing him embarrassment, pain, suffering and emotional distress.

Former Creed frontman Scott Stapp is free. Frank Mateljan, a spokesman for the singer, confirmed Wednesday evening March 8th, 2006 that the Los Angeles City Attorney's office will not be filing charges against Stapp for allegedly being publicly intoxicated hours after his Feb. 10 marriage to Jaclyn Nesheiwat.
As of Stapp, he received the good news that he wouldn't be charged on Tuesday March 7th, 2006 at an informal hearing he attended at the city attorney's office.

The prosecutor is simply indentified as "Jane Doe." She's the woman who claimed to be involved in the sex tape showing Scott Stapp and Kid Rock with several strippers. She has on Thursday March 2nd filed lawsuit in Miami, seeking to prevent sale of the video and asking for unspecified damages, alleging she's suffered emotional distress.
"For all purposes, she is the star of the females in the video," the lawsuit said. Further, the woman also said that she believed the video would remain in Stapp's private possession, while he deliberately made a clip from the video turned up on the Internet to lift up the sales of his solo album. Just for everybody to know, Kid Rock and former Creed singer Scott Stapp have recently been caught in a videotape having sex with four women after a Miami concert. The tape was made around the time that the twosome played a concert together at the Orange Bowl in December 1999. A hearing is set for Friday in Detroit to hear arguments in the case.

Explaining on the incident, an Airport Police representative confirmed Stapp was taken into custody for being under the influence, but was unable to elaborate on the charges.
A blood-alcohol test at the station, furthermore showed the singer registered a 0.18, which is twice the legal limit. Was booked and released on $250 bail a few hours later, Stapp was ordered to return to Los Angeles for an arraignment hearing March 8.

The couple, which first met last January at a gala for the Muscular Dystrophy Association in New York, became engaged late last year. So Dvora Vener Englefield, Stapp's publicist told The Associated Press on Thursday. Other details concerning the matter remain undisclosed.
