July 07, 2009 01:07:41All Time Low snatched Pete Wentz of Fall Out Boy and Mark Hoppus of Blink-182 to make cameos in their latest music video, "Weightless". The band also invited fans to participate in the video by being the crowd at the live show scene.
The video is wrapped in an interesting concept of showing someone's true intention written on the back of the head. Pete, in black hood, tweeted to Mark saying that ATL are a rip-off to FOB, but Mark answered "Both ATL and FOB rip-off Blink-182". There's also another reference to FOB in the middle of the video where a guy wearing a "Fall Out Boy" shirt is saying "I'd rather be watching FOB" in the back of his mind.

Pete Wentz to Terminate Ashlee Simpson's SNL Scandal
November 27, 2007 02:11:14When Ashlee Simpson was caught in technical fault at a Saturday Night Live performance in 2004, she has since become a target of constant jokes including that by a rock band named Neurosonic. Simpsons's rocker boyfriend, Pete Wentz, is handling this matter legally.
Wentz has issued a written request to the Canadian band to stop mocking Simpson with their song 'So Many People'. The Fall Out Boy bassist has asked them to stop performing the song live, New York Daily News gossip column PageSix reported.

The 30 seconds clip, dubbed "The Pete Wentz Sex Tape," surfaced on gossip blog PerezHilton.com and has subsequently made it's way across the internet.

Fall Out Boy reveals the new dates of their postponed Honda Civic Tour. As previously reported, the band will keep the dates starting from May 11 onwards.
Written on the web journal, Pete Wentz said "Everyone knows (our) tour has been pushed back- no I am not dead (unless this is the replaced robot me writing this), no no one is in rehab." He then continued, "Hopefully you know how much we love to tour and want to keep going. After some things coming up it is in the best interest of the health of the band and its members to take just a couple weeks to catch up."

The first few weeks of Fall Out Boy's Honda Civic Tour have been cancelled, leading many fans to disappointment. Pointing the reason to 'personal issues', the band will not kick off on April 18 in Charlotte, North Carolina.
In a press release, bassist Pete Wentz stated, "Unfortunately, because of some personal issues we had to delay the tour a few weeks. We want to put on the best possible show we can and know that this extra couple of weeks will give us the time to put ourselves in the right place to put on the best show we can." Upon what personal issues are talked about here, a representation from the band's label simply said, "No one's dead and no one's in rehab."

An unlikely pair has teamed up for collaboration in an album. English rock band The Cure agreed to help pop singer Ashlee Simpson working on her third album after the band attended her show as Roxie Hart in musical "Chicago".
Pete Wentz of Fall Out Boy stands in the middle of the two but denied any participation on the alliance. "I doubt I had anything to do with it, 'cause they were friends since she was performing in Chicago. But I definitely only have good things to say about Ash--I think the collaboration could be great," he said.

It appears that American rock band Kiss has inspired Fall Out Boy to make merchandise containing their blood. The band will give out 'special' edition posters that are printed with ink mixed with the members' blood to lucky winners.
Seemingly gross, it is not easy to get these posters. For each city visited during the band's Honda Civic Tour, there will only be one person to receive the poster and still, through a contest. "We're going to be running a series of contests. One is an ode to Kiss," said bassist Pete Wentz "My brother is going to make 45 prints based on images from our record. Each will be hand-numbered and individually made. In addition, all prints will have a mixture of each member of the band's blood in it."
