She is named Best International Artist, beating The Veronicas, Taylor Swift, Ashley Tisdale and McFly. She also gets Song of the Year title, thanks to her hit single "Poker Face". In this category, she pushes aside Shakira, Nelly Furtado, Kings of Leon and Wisin & Yandel.
Though losing Song of the Year to Lady GaGa, Wisin & Yandel still manage to walk home with double victories, taking home Artist of the Year and Video of the Year prizes. This is the first time the Puerto Rican reggaeton win at the event. "I want to thank Mexico, Puerto Rico and all the Latinos who support our music," Wisin says. He also thanks rapper 50 Cent who is the announcer for Artist of the Year, "Also, someone who always believed in the revolution: 50 Cent."

"Cause y Efecto" is a pop song scheduled to appear in Paulina's forthcoming ninth studio album "Gran City Pop". Produced by Latin Grammy Award winner Cachorro Lopez and mixed by Monica Velez, the song was performed for the first time by Paulina during 2009 Latin Billboard Music Awards on April 23.

This just in, Paulina Rubio is pregnant. The Grammy and Latin Grammy-nominated Mexican singer and actress reportedly pregnant with her first child with husband Nicolas Vallejo Najera.
"She's been pregnant for a few months. I don't know exactly how many... She is very happy," the singer's best friend, socialite Liliana Sada Melo, was quoted by Website Lossip.com as saying.

Paulina Rubio is off the market. The Mexican pop star tied the knot with Spanish businessman boyfriend Nicolas Vallejo on Monday April 30th.
The couple's wedding took place at Xcaret, an ecotourism park on Mexico's Caribbean coast. There were at least 150 security guards placed on the location, making sure the ceremony won't get spoiled by journalists.

Mexican pop group RBD led the number of winning in 2007 Billboard Latin Music Awards with 3 counts. They took home most of the top nominations such as Tour of the Year, Latin Pop Album of the Year for "Celestial" and also Top Latin Album Artist of the Year.
Shakira who appeared this year with her best hit "Hips Don't Lie" featuring Wyclef Jean was named Hot Latin Song of the Year, Vocal Duet after defeating Ricky Martin's duet with La Mari and other two contenders. Hot Latin Song Artist of the Year went to Puerto Rican reggaeton duo Wisin & Yandel that beat other strong reggaeton Daddy Yankee.

Speaking on their reason to choose Paulina, the magazine simply explained "The truth is that `The Golden Girl' is someone who combines talent, charisma and success, and nobody can deny that. Everybody wants to know what Pau is doing and where she is."
