August 26, 2009 12:08:55ALMA Awards is back for the fourth time to present honors to the Hispanic community specializing in entertainment business. National Council of La Raza's CEO Janet Murguira announced on Tuesday, August 25 with the assistance of Executive Producer Eva Longoria, the names of people crowding the honorees list.
The category in TV is divided into two according to the show's genre, comedy and drama. Showing a domination in the former category is the cast ensemble of "Ugly Betty". Meanwhile in drama, "Lost" and "Dexter" each brought in three of their actors.

August 06, 2009 10:08:26The siblings of "Wizards of Waverly Place" came to "The View" on Wednesday, August 5 morning to promote their latest venture, "Wizards of Waverly Place: The Movie". David Henrie, pitted by Selena Gomez and Jake T. Austin, talked about their world outside acting, Emmy nomination and the TV movie.
Each of the three has different level of commitment to music. While Selena is having her album coming out, David said he only plays guitar. Jake, in the meantime, is pretty occupied with acting and sports that music is not a big piece of his life.

January 02, 2009 09:01:48Disney Channel had their stars coming out to celebrate the New Year's Eve with "Totally New Year". Cast of "Wizards of Waverly Place", Selena Gomez, David Henrie, Jake T. Austin, and Jennifer Stone, served as the host of the show that aired starting 5 P.M. ET.
Beside entertaining viewers while counting down to the year 2009, "Totally New Year" presented an awards show which winners were selected through an online poll at Disney.com. Among the categories given out are Totally Best Guest, Totally Silly Siblings, Totally Hair-Raising and Totally Random Relatives.
Everyone's Hero Is Totally Changed

The 20th Century Fox's family comedy which previously known as "Yankee Irving," is being re-titled, so IDT Entertainment has announced. The film project is now titled "Everyone's Hero" and its release date is pushed back from August 25 to September 15.
The film originally version "Yankee Irving" was directed by Christopher Reeve but following the actor's death, Colin Brady and Dan St. Pierre take over the duty. As of "Everyone's Hero", the story centers on a boy travels across the country on a mission to return Babe Ruth's bat before the deciding game of the 1932 World Series. Along the way, he meets a quirky array of characters that aid him on his comic journey.
