November 11, 2009 10:11:27The nominations for the 36th People's Choice Awards have been announced on Tuesday, November 10. Based on the announcement, it is revealed that vampire drama film "Twilight" and drama comedy "The Proposal" lead the pack of the nominees in movie categories with six nods each.
The two movies are among the contenders in Favorite Movie and Franchise categories. Moreover, "Twilight" and "The Proposal" lead actors, Robert Pattinson and Ryan Reynolds, share Favorite Actor nod. Kristen Stewart and Sandra Bullock, meanwhile, are up against for Favorite Actress gong. Both movie stars are also among the contenders in On-Screen Team category.

October 26, 2009 01:10:26Stepping her feet for the first time in entertainment business as an actress, Emily Osment is now trying her hands at singing. She is going to drop a mini studio album called "All the Right Wrongs" across United States on October 27.
As a pre-cursor to the album, the Lily Truscott of "Hannah Montana" series has dropped its first single "All the Way Up" in August and given fans a listening party to the EP on JSYK.com. From alternative rock sounds in track "You Are the Only One", Emily goes pop with "Average Girl" which tells about getting dumped on Valentine's Day.

Dominating the EP's cover is the Lilly Truscott's depicter in "Hannah Montana" series herself. She is captured laying down on the grass, while the EP's title hangs above her back.
Last Friday, September 18, Osment has taken it to her Twitter account in back-to-back tweets to announce "All The Way Up", "You Are The Only One", "I Hate The Homecoming Queen", "Found Out About You", "Average Girl", and "What About Me" will be listed in the EP. In another tweet following those, the 17-year-old wrote, "Those last six tweets are the songs featured on my EP 'All The Right Wrongs' out October 27th!!!!!"
Emily Osment's 'All the Way Up' Music Video Debuted
August 24, 2009 02:08:45"All the Way Up" music video from Emily Osment has just made its way out, showing the teen songstress rocking with Push Play in an apartment. A grandma living downstairs looks annoyed with the noise Emily and the band create, while the younger residents of the apartment seem enjoying the beat.
"The video was so fun, Push Play (the band) plays my band ... We're buddies," Emily explained about the concept of the video in a recent interview. "It was really fun we shot it in a mock apartment where you could see what's going on in every room ... I'm playing music upstairs and you can see how it's effecting all the rooms below."

The video is directed by Roman White, the same man who worked on Push Play's "Midnight Romeo" video where Emily makes a cameo appearance. The video is confirmed to be debuted on Yahoo! on August 24.

In this video, the four-piece band share screen with Disney star, Emily Osment, who plays the leading lady. It starts with the band's live performance and ends with them taking lonely Emily out of a narrow, messy room.
"Midnight Romeo" is confirmed to be listed among new materials in Push Play's upcoming studio album "Found". The track has been made available for digital download for quite some time, but the set will not arrive in U.S. stores until September 29.

August 10, 2009 03:08:27Which TV shows taking home the surfboards from the 11th Annual Teen Choice Awards have been unveiled with the coming out of the complete winner list. "Gossip Girl" and "Hannah Montana" picked up the most awards on the event, each grabbing four kudos in total.
"Gossip Girl" was voted Choice TV Show: Drama, beating "90210" and "Grey's Anatomy" among others. The CW series, in addition, collected three performers kudos, one Choice TV Actor: Drama for Chace Crawford, one Choice TV Actress: Drama for Leighton Meester and one Choice TV: Villain for Ed Westwick.
Emily Osment's Debut Album May Arrive in March 2010
July 11, 2009 02:07:13Emily Osment's debut album will be released across United States on March 9, 2010, according to USA Today. The effort, which is yet to be titled, reportedly will be produced by Matt Squire (Taking Back Sunday, Boys Like Girls, Panic! At the Disco).
Explaining about the materials she is currently recording for the project, Emily confirms the songs are "definitely pop, but with an alternative-rock edge." She adds, "It's music you'll want to play in the car with the windows rolled down."

May 27, 2009 11:05:52Disney Channel has released five brand new photos that support the summer TV programs. Dubbed "Summer of Stars", the pictures individually promote the summer movie and series marathons that start this Friday, May 29.
The unearthed pics are released for "J.O.N.A.S.!", "Hannah Montana", "Wizards of Waverly Place" and "Sonny with a Chance". But those series won't be the only line-up, for TV movies "Princess Protection Program" and "Wizards of Waverly Place: The Movie" are also premiering on June 26 and August 1 respectively.

In one scene, she and George Newbern, who plays her father in the film, are captured being ushered by two police officers out of their house. While in another, she and her friends are shown in a rescuing mission to save her kidnapped father.

Among those on the list were her singer father Billy Ray Cyrus, best friend Emily Osment, and fellow Disney star Demi Lovato.
Cody Linley, who has boasted on getting her support for his upcoming appearance on the "Dancing with the Stars," was also invited. Jennifer Love Hewitt, Kobe Bryant, and Steve Carell were among the 25 years and over guests. Besides them all, Miley also invited fellow "High School Musical" cast Kaycee Stroh and Matt Prokop, the Los Angeles Times reports.
