Aiming for what is best for the upcoming record, she is said enlisting helps from music greats The-Dream and Pharrell Williams.
As for The-Dream, the music producer reportedly will pen some songs for her. Pharrell, meanwhile, will hit the studio together with the songstress once she gets back from her on-going tour in the U.K.
Brandy, Jazmine Sullivan to Ring in New Year's Eve at BET's '106 and Party'

"Getting in touch with how I felt made me want to sing about it," Brandy commented on the forthcoming LP. "This entire album is about life and what we all experience - that we're not alone and sometimes need to be uplifted."

"Long Distance" is a ballad song from Brandy's fifth studio album "Human", which will hit the U.S. stores on December 9. "Whether it's a significant other or your daughter, a lot of people are away from the people they love," she explained. "I met some lady, and she was telling me her husband is away in Iraq right now. I was like, 'I have the perfect song for you.' ... "

She also opens up how she hides the fact about the fatal crash accident she was involved in two years ago that left a 38-year-old woman dead, from her little daughter Sy'rai Iman Smith.
In February 2002, Brandy announced she and Robert had married the year before. At almost the same time, she also publicly revealed that she was expecting her first child. In June the same year, she gave birth to daughter Sy'rai and had the event being documented in MTV reality series, called "Brandy: A Special Delivery". However, Brandy then reportedly divorced Robert. In a radio interview in 2003, she claimed her marriage to Robert actually never happened.

Brandy Cleared From Vehicular Manslaughter Charges
December 29, 2007 09:12:30Brandy can finally breathe free as the City Attorney's Office announced that they won't file misdemeanor vehicular manslaughter charges against her from a fatal traffic collision case after reviewing the case for nearly a year. The clearance announcement was made by the authorities on Friday, December 28, 2007.
In a released statement, the office's spokesman Frank Mateljan said, "The City Attorney's Office has decided not to file misdemeanor vehicular manslaughter charges against Brandy Norwood in the case stemming from a Dec. 30, 2006, traffic collision." Further, he explained, "After conducting a thorough investigation, which included consulting with some of the top accident reconstruction experts in the country, City prosecutors concluded that there was insufficient evidence from which a jury could find Ms. Norwood guilty of such a charge beyond a reasonable doubt."
