Kennedy Center to Award Billy Crystal Its Mark Twain Humor Prize

He is a comedian whose job is entertaining people. And it seems Billy Crystal does it very well that the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts will award him its Mark Twain Humor Prize.
Crystal is slated to receive the honor October 11th later this year at a tribute performance that will be televised by PBS. He is the 10th recipient of the award.
Robin Williams Will Return to the New "Comic Relief"

People, get ready for the new "Comic Relief". The live stand-up comedy benefit, which ran on HBO from 1986-1998, will return to the premium cable network Nov. 18 later this year after a seven-year absence.
Besides, it will also be simulcast on TBS as well. On top of that, comedian Robin Williams will return as host of the three-hour event, bringing also his companion Billy Crystal and Whoopi Goldberg.
Crystal & Cumming Awarded GLAAD Awards
March 30, 2005 11:03:26Comedian Billy Crystal got one at the 16th Annual Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD) Media Awards held on March 28, 2005 for his 1977 gay history playing Jodie Dallas of the ABC satire "Soap."
Meanwhile, actor Alan Cumming won the Vito Russo Award, an honor reserved for openly out artists, for his roles in "X2: X-Men United," "Spy Kids," and most of all for his Tony for "Cabaret" that created the most buzz at the event.
