Bill Hader and Wife Welcome First Child, a Baby Girl
October 13, 2009 09:10:56Actor-comedian Bill Hader has become a first-time father. His wife Maggie Carey gave birth to a baby girl, whom they name Hannah Kathryn Hader, last Tuesday, October 6. Weekly magazine People which is the first to report the news doesn't provide further detail about the newborn baby.
Bill Hader has been married to Maggie Carey since 2006. The Vincent Price of variety show "Saturday Night Live" announced Maggie's pregnancy in August. At that time he gushed about becoming a father, stating "I'm really excited. I think it's going to be awesome."
L.A. Premiere of Kristen Stewart-Starrer 'Adventureland'
March 17, 2009 02:03:46A couple of weeks away from its theatrical release in April, "Adventureland" has rolled down red carpet for a Los Angeles premiere. For the special event, Miramax Films have picked up Mann Chinese 6 Theater in Hollywood, California as the place to screen the comedy film on Monday, March 16, evening.
While Jesse Eisenberg, the star of "Adventureland", was not seen at the red carpet, his co-stars Kristen Stewart and Ryan Reynolds were present at the premiere. In addition to Stewart and Reynolds, other cast members attending included Bill Hader, Kristen Wiig, Matt Bush, Martin Starr and Dan Bittner. Director Greg Mottola was also spotted joining the celebration.
Judd Apatow Could Be Shifting Gear to Slasher Movie
January 21, 2009 04:01:18During an interview at the 2009 Sundance Film Festival, Bill Hader has pointed out one interesting tidbit. To CHUD, the "Saturday Night Live" actor who is in Sundance for Greg Mottola's "Adventureland" reveals that he and SNL writer Simon Rich have written a slasher movie for Judd Apatow.
On making the script for the man behind "Knocked Up" and "Superbad", Hader recalled, "Judd met with us and said 'I want to do a horror movie with you. I want to see you in a slasher movie.'" The 30-year-old further described the project's concept, explaining "It's partially Straw Dogs meets Halloween meets Home Alone meets Monster Squad."
Judd Apatow & Seth Rogen Reuniting for "Super Bad"

Judd Apatow and Seth Rogen are working together again. Thanks to the forthcoming film project of "Super Bad" that makes it possible for the twosome, previously teamed in the box office hit "The 40 Year-Old Virgin", to reunite once again.
While Apatow will produce the comedy flick, Rogen will co-star and also is co-writing the screenplay with Evan Goldberg. Elsewhere, Saturday Night Live's Bill Hader is in talks to co-star and Greg Mottola is giving hand at directing.
