AceShowbiz - Kit Harington has been cast as a lead alongside Shailene Woodley and Lindsay Lohan in the Hulu limited series Count My Lies. This project comes from former executive producers and co-showrunners of This Is Us, Isaac Aptaker and Elizabeth Berger.
In Count My Lies, the story revolves around Sloane Caraway, played by Woodley, a compulsive liar who manages to secure a nanny position for the stunning and magnetic Violet, portrayed by Lohan, and Jay Lockhart, played by Harington. What appears to be Sloane's dream job quickly turns into a tense situation as she discovers that the household is filled with dark secrets that could lead to disastrous outcomes for everyone involved.
This limited series is based on the debut novel by Sophie Stava, with Aptaker and Berger serving as writers and executive producers through their company, The Walk-Up Company. Furthermore, Lohan, Woodley, and Scott Morgan from The Walk-Up Company are also executive producers, while Stava takes on the role of producer. The studio backing the project is 20th Television, part of Disney TV Studios, where Aptaker and Berger are currently signed to an overall deal.
Harington, known for his role in Game of Thrones, recently appeared in the Apple TV movie The Family Plan 2 and had a recurring role in Too Much, a Netflix comedy series by Lena Dunham. He will soon reprise his role as Sir Henry Muck in Season 4 of HBO's Industry, set to premiere on January 11, and will star in the BBC/MGM+ limited series A Tale of Two Cities. Harington is represented by CAA, United Agents, and attorney Karl Austen.
