The 60th Academy of Country Music Awards is just around the corner, with rising star Ella Langley leading the nominations list while Beyonce is still shut out of the list.
- March 28, 2025
AceShowbiz - The nominations for the 2025 ACM Awards have been announced, and it's clear that Ella Langley is making waves with a leading eight nominations.
Close behind her are Morgan Wallen, Lainey Wilson, and Cody Johnson, each with seven nods. Chris Stapleton follows with six while Riley Green and Post Malone have five nominations each.
Langley's breakout hit "You Look Like You Love Me," a duet with Riley Green, has catapulted her to the top of the nominations list. The song earned her nominations in several categories, including Female Artist of the Year, New Female Artist of the Year, and Song of the Year, where she'll compete as both an artist and songwriter.
Lainey Wilson, last year's Entertainer of the Year, is back to defend her title. With seven nominations, including Album of the Year for "Whirlwind," Wilson continues to be a dominant force in the country music industry. She is also up for Artist-Songwriter of the Year, highlighting her multifaceted talent.
Morgan Wallen, despite controversies, remains a strong contender, marking his third consecutive year as a nominee for Entertainer of the Year.
One snub that stood out was Beyonce Knowles, who was left off the list despite winning Grammy Awards and dominating multiple charts for her country-leaning album "Cowboy Carter."
Reba McEntire, a 16-time ACM Award winner, will host the ceremony, which will be live-streamed on Prime Video from Ford Center at The Star in Frisco, Texas, on May 8.
Blake Shelton, Eric Church, and Lainey Wilson are set to light up the stage with their performances, making the 60th ACM Awards a must-watch event for country music fans.
