AceShowbiz - The world of entertainment isn't always glitz and glamor; sometimes, it's about protecting your loved ones and standing your ground. Recently, Sharna Burgess entered the fray to support her fiancé Brian Austin Green amidst a heated exchange with musician Machine Gun Kelly (MGK).
The drama unfolded when MGK sent a fiery direct message to the "Beverly Hills, 90210" star, Brian Austin Green, shortly before announcing the birth of his and Megan Fox's new baby.
In a since-deleted screenshot shared on Brian's Instagram Story on March 27, MGK wrote, "Stop asking when our child is gonna be born. You the FEDS. Quit calling TMZ and focus on that apology you owe me for speaking my name in public."
This direct and confrontational message did not go unnoticed by Sharna, the "Dancing with the Stars" member who's engaged to Brian.
Sharna, who shares a 2-year-old son named Zane with Brian, did not hesitate to respond. She took to her Instagram Story, comparing MGK's message to a territorial dog marking its area. "That was about the equivalent of a dog pissing on its territory making it known it's back in the area," she wrote. "So eloquently put too. Bravo."
In a continuation of her post, Sharna shared insights into why Brian were asking about the baby, emphasizing the delicate situation in their blended family, especially considering their children's feelings.
Brian shares three children - Noah, 12, Bodhi, 11, and Journey, 8 - with Megan Fox, and a 23-year-old son, Kash, with his ex Vanessa Marcil. "Our kids are so excited about the arrival of their baby sibling and we are excited FOR them," she explained.
"They have been asking nearly every day of their arrival for about a month now. Naturally, when they ask us to find out how mama is doing, we say no problem and do just that."
Sharna emphasized the importance of making kids feel safe and loved in split households and highlighted the attributes necessary for a step-parent. She stated, "Being a step-parent requires (among other things) selflessness, empathy, loyalty, honesty, an open heart, and patience."
"If these are not qualities you consider yourself to have or be able to develop, than [sic] you should ask yourself if you deserve to be in their lives. Because they deserve the absolute best."
As Sharna's responses created ripples, MGK announced the birth of his daughter with Megan Fox. "She's finally here!!" he shared on Instagram, alongside an emotional clip of himself holding his daughter's hand.
He credited Travis Barker for helping create music for the special day, adding, "We composed the score of the birth. What an epic journey. Praise God."
In the complex world of blended families and high-profile relationships, Sharna Burgess and Brian Austin Green focus on what truly matters - their children's happiness and well-being.
