In the face of persistent and devastating wildfires, country music star Miranda Lambert and her charity have launched an initiative and raise over $200,000 for animals in need.

AceShowbiz - Miranda Lambert has proven once again that her compassion extends far beyond the stage. Her animal-focused non-profit, MuttNation Foundation, has partnered with rural lifestyle retailer Tractor Supply to gather crucial funds for animals affected by the relentless LA wildfires.

The initiative, dubbed the "Relief for Rescues Fund," kicked off last Thursday, January 9, and within a few days, donations surpassed $200,000. Miranda expressed her deep gratitude to donors in a heartfelt message shared with her 27.2 million social media followers.

"Starting today at Tractor Supply, at checkout you can donate either online or in person, and 100% of that continues to go to relief funds. So from MuttNation and Tractor Supply, friends thank y'all so much for helping us out and we're going to continue to send prayers and love and light!" she wrote.

The funds raised will provide vital support to several animal shelters severely impacted by the fires. One of the primary beneficiaries is Pasadena Humane, which has already taken in over 400 animals, including a "five-day-old puppy found under a collapsed building."

Due to the overwhelming generosity, Pasadena Humane announced it would only accept monetary donations moving forward, stating, "We are fully stocked and unable to store additional items without impairing our operations."

MuttNation Foundation, which Miranda co-founded with her mother Bev Lambert in 2009, has made significant strides in animal welfare, raising over $9 million for various causes.

This collaboration with Tractor Supply comes as firefighters continue their arduous battle against four distinct wildfires destroying a total of 38,276 acres across different regions. With the Pacific Palisades area only 11% contained and Altadena at 15%, the magnitude of destruction is staggering.

The fires have resulted in 16 confirmed deaths and over 105,000 residents under evacuation orders. The financial impact is estimated to be between $135 billion and $150 billion, with numerous celebrities like Mel Gibson, Paris Hilton, and Jeff Bridges losing their homes in the disaster.
