Former NHL player Brooks Laich is set to walk down the aisle once again after getting engaged to his girlfriend, CrossFit champion KatrÃn Tanja DavÃosdottir.

AceShowbiz - Former NHL player Brooks Laich is set to walk down the aisle once again. On Friday, December 27, he and girlfriend Katrin Tanja DavÃosdottir announced their engagement through a joint Instagram post featuring four heartfelt photos.
"Forever feels just right with you," they captioned the post. Laich also shared the announcement in his Instagram Stories, expressing his love for DavÃosdottir. He wrote on his post, "I love you," adding a heart emoji.
The pair made their relationship official on Instagram in August 2021 after Laich praised DavÃosdottir's athleticism at the 2021 NOBULL CrossFit Games. "So proud of the way she competed this weekend, which was the expression of the hard work she put in to be here," Laich wrote in part. "Rest assured the next time she takes the field, I will be there watching - bearing witness to one of the greatest competitors I have ever met!"
He has continued to support her career, even quoting the Diamond Rio song "Meet in the Middle" in a post about their relationship.
Before meeting DavÃosdottir, Laich was married to dancer Julianne Hough from 2017 to 2020. The couple finalized their divorce in 2022, citing a lack of maturity as a contributing factor.
