AceShowbiz - Keyshia Cole's son might get in trouble following her Instagram Live session. On Christmas Day, the R&B star was forced to end her live stream after her son Tobias appeared to troll her with lyrics from "Not Like Us".
During the Live, Keyshia could be seen getting what seemed to be eyelash extension treatment at home. Her son was with her playing around and at one point, he recited some bars from Kendrick Lamar's hit Drake diss track.
"You look like Drake," before rapping, "I hear you like 'em young." As the 43-year-old singer laughed at her son's rapping, the boy continued, "You better not ever go to cell block one."
Keyshia later stopped laughing and stared at the camera with a stoic expression briefly. The "Love" hitmaker then announced that she would end her Live session, telling her followers, "I'm getting off here because at the end of the day… Bye!"
Internet users had mixed responses upon watching a clip from the Live. Some people found it funny as they thought that the young boy was trolling her mom with the lyrics. "Nephew just cooked," a user wrote in an Instagram comment. "Bro knows too much," another added.
"He must be great in math and realize his father's age and his mother's age," one other joked. However, some others didn't think it was that deep. "He's just singing the lyrics… calm down ppl," one of them wrote.
Keyshia, who is currently dating 25-year-old rapper Hunxho, shares Tobias with Niko Khale, who is 14 years younger than her. Keyshia and Niko welcomed Tobias in 2019, though they split in 2020. In addition to Tobias, Keyshia has an older son, Daniel Gibson Jr., with ex-husband Daniel Gibson. They tied the knot in May 2011, but separated in 2014. They eventually got divorced in 2017.
In 2022, Keyshia discussed her music career and parenting in an interview with Essence. "My youngest child, his father, takes him every other week. He's really hands-on, probably because he's so little right now," she shared at the time. "My oldest really wants me to leave him alone as much as possible-I try not to–but his father is there as well. My plan, especially with some acting classes that I plan to do soon, is to try [and] juggle every other week."
She continued, "Also, I have never had a real nanny, somebody that helps me keep a schedule. For the most part, I've been trying to do things alone. I signed up to find a real nanny, somebody I can really depend on so that I can finish up these obligations that I have this year."
