The 'Us Against the World' songstress weighs in on the backlash over Blue Ivy's red carpet appearance at the movie premiere in Los Angeles, telling naysayers to mind their own business.

AceShowbiz - Christina Milian has weighed in on a debate that was sparked by Blue Ivy's recent red carpet appearance with her parents. The singer/actress has defended the 12-year-old against criticism over the teen's dress that she wore for the premiere of "Mufasa: The Lion King".

On Tuesday, December 10, the mother of three was a guest on Sherri Shepherd's show, "Sherri". When asked about her thoughts on Blue Ivy's dress, which some people found "inappropriate," Christina fended off they naysayers.

"First of all, she looks gorgeous. I think the fact that anybody has anything to say about someone else's daughter, any minor, I think just mind your business," Christina said of Blue Ivy's look. "She's talented, she toured the world with her mom, like there's nothing you can say. You can't dim that shine."

Sherri then joined in to share her two cents on Blue Ivy's dress, saying that the Grammy Award winner acted "so poised," with Christina agreeing. Sherri pointed out that Blue Ivy was not doing "too much" and her look was "just enough." Christina exclaimed, "Let that baby glow!" which was echoed by the host.

Blue Ivy attended the premiere of Disney's movie in Los Angeles with her famous parents, Jay-Z and Beyonce Knowles, as well as grandmother Tina Knowles. At the event, she shone in a metallic Christian Siriano ballgown. The strapless gold dress featured a long train.

The teen went color-coordinated with her mother, who opted for a strapless gown with a cut-out on the chest. Jay-Z went with a brown suit on top of a white button-up shirt and a black tie. As for Tina, she opted for a black dress with a big belt that cinched her waist.

The Carters' public appearance at the premiere came just a day after Jay-Z is accused of raping a 13-year-old girl in 2000 in an amended lawsuit filed on Sunday. The Roc Nation founder quickly denied the "heinous" allegations, calling them "blackmail attempt."

Jay-Z has since filed a motion asking the court to dismiss the "cynical and calculated" rape lawsuit filed by Jane Doe or for the woman to reveal her identity "immediately" to the public. In response to the motion, Tony Buzbee, who represents the woman, said in a statement to Page Six, "Sending a basic litigation demand letter and then filing a lawsuit isn't extortion or blackmail. That's the legal practice."
