Tori Spelling proudly announces her daughter Stella's achievement of obtaining her driving learner's permit and reflects on her evolving role as a mother amidst a life in flux.

AceShowbiz - On Tuesday, December 10, Tori Spelling, known for her role in "Beverly Hills, 90210", took to Instagram to share the news that her 16-year-old daughter, Stella McDermott, had earned her driver's permit. The 51-year-old actress expressed her pride in Stella, acknowledging her hard work and dedication in passing the written test and starting driving lessons.

"She's officially on the road with her driver's permit," Spelling wrote. "She nailed the written test, started her driving lessons, and can now be my personal Uber. Life moves pretty fast!"

While celebrating her daughter's milestone, Spelling also shared a personal reflection on the changing dynamics within her family. She revealed that she "cried like a baby" when Stella passed her driving test, not out of sadness but out of "tears of pride."

Spelling is a mother of five, including Liam Aaron, 17, Hattie Margaret, 13, Finn Davey, 12, and Beau Dean, 7. She shares these children with her estranged husband, Dean McDermott. In a recent episode of her "Misspelling" podcast, Spelling opened up about the impact the June 2023 split had on her family.

"With five kids, I feel like I'm sorry. I'm constantly letting them down because my life is not stable. Their lives are not stable," Spelling said in a recorded therapy session with Dr. Hillary Goldsher. "I can give love in abundance, but they're on this roller coaster with me, unfortunately."

Spelling admitted that her financial situation and lifestyle had become less stable since the separation, resulting in feelings of guilt and a desire to provide a more consistent environment for her children. Despite the challenges, Spelling remains committed to her role as a mother, balancing her professional responsibilities with her family obligations.

"I feel really guilty when I come home at the end of the day," Spelling said in the podcast. "People have babysitters or nannies or housekeepers or things like that, but we're just us."

Spelling's children continue to play a significant role in her life, and she is grateful for the support of her eldest daughter, Stella, who has taken on additional responsibilities within the family. Despite the ups and downs, Spelling remains optimistic about the future and is determined to navigate the challenges of motherhood and the evolving family dynamics with love and resilience.
