AceShowbiz - Beyonce Knowles apparently made it clear that tonight is Blue Ivy's night. The Grammy-winning singer made use of her Instagram account to shower the young girl with praises after the two hit the red carpet at "Mufasa: The Lion King" premiere alongside Jay-Z.
On Monday, December 9, the "Cowboy Carter" artist posted a couple of photos featuring Blue Ivy posing on the red carpet. At the event, the 12-year-old girl, who lends her voice to a character named Kiara in the flick, looked stunning in a metallic ball gown with a floor-sweeping skirt.
"My gorgeous baby girl," Beyonce wrote in the caption. The "Love on Top" hitmaker continued, "This is your night. You worked hard and you did such a beautiful job as the voice of Kiara. Your family could not be prouder. Keep shining."
Fans quickly left sweet and supportive messages in the comments section. "Her voice was flawless as Kiara! SHE WAS BORN FOR THIS!" one of them penned. Another called Blue Ivy "beautiful and talented."
"Congratulations Blue Ivy on your big night enjoy this moment," someone else added. One other similarly gushed, "She's growing up beautifully."
At the premiere event in Los Angeles, Blue Ivy was joined by her family, including mom Beyonce, dad Jay-Z and grandmother Tina Knowles. Beyonce twinned with her daughter in a strapless gown with a cut-out on the chest. Rocking a brown suit with a white button-up shirt underneath, Hov was all smiles that night despite his legal drama. Tina, on the other hand, donned a black dress for the occasion.
It marked the Carters' first public appearance since Jay-Z was accused of raping a 13-year-old at a house party back in 2000. An amended lawsuit filed on Sunday claimed that Jigga rapped the plaintiff, identified as Jane Doe, while Sean "P. Diddy" Combs and "Celebrity B" watched.
Jay-Z vehemently denied the accusations. He additionally filed filed a motion asking the court to dismiss the "cynical and calculated" rape lawsuit filed by Jane Doe or for the woman to reveal her identity "immediately" to the public.
