In a new Instagram post, the yoga guru and wife of Alec Baldwin shares with her followers that she and their 11-year-old daughter have collaborated for their new book.

AceShowbiz - Hilaria Baldwin landed in hot water. The wife of Alec Baldwin received backlash online after she revealed in an Instagram post on Friday, December 6 that their daughter Carmen is launching her own skincare book.

In the said post, Hilaria shared with her followers that she and the 11-year-old girl collaborated for their new book titled "Glowing Up: Recipes to Rock Your Natural Beauty". "We strike a balance in our home and part of it has been Carmen led by watching her make her own skincare products, from our kitchen, researching, learning about beneficial ingredients, creating and having fun," so the 40-year-old wrote in the caption.

Explaining the book, the yoga guru added, "It's a guide to embracing self-care, building confidence, and celebrating natural beauty. It's available for pre-order today on dapbooks.shop, and will officially release on March 23. We'll be signing the first 500 copies! We are so proud of you Carmen, and so excited to share this project with you all!"

In an interview with PEOPLE, Hilaria shared further excitement of working on this book with Carmen as she noted, "One of my goals as a mother is to really foster my children's creativity and individuality and see where their passions and skills collide." She continued, "She has made her own skincare products from our kitchen for years, learning what ingredients are beneficial, measuring, experimenting...creating. It is her work and I am just helping her see the potential and possibilities."

Carmen, meanwhile, claimed that she's "pretty proud" of the project. "All of these recipes are ones that I have been making at home for a couple of years. I use them on myself and my siblings and my parents," she told the publication. "My mom teaches me that sharing is so important and she thought that these recipes would be so fun to write down and share with other kids and their families! I feel very lucky for this experience and I hope people like it as much as I do! I do a lot of research into different ingredients that are good for hair and skin."

While the mom and daughter are thrilled for the book, some Internet users aren't impressed. "I'm not sure what skin care products she needs to be making at home? for 11 year old skin? Eat healthy and drink plenty of water, daily sunscreen and moisturiser, that’s all that anyone needs," one user wrote in an Instagram comment.

"11 yo. Makeup, skin routine, multiple piercings. Next year we will meet the official boyfriend moving in," another criticized. One other similarly wrote, "Great. She's a beautiful young lady. Glad she's experimenting, all good stuff. But exactly what knowledge does she have to write a book at her age?" One person, meanwhile, mocked Hilaria over longtime rumors that she faked her Spanish accent, saying, "Are there recipes w/...how u say, cucumbers?"
