AceShowbiz - Country singer Luke Combs, 34, captivated the crowd at the 2024 CMA Awards with a powerful performance of "Ain't No Love In Oklahoma" from the blockbuster film Twisters.

Donning a short-sleeved black utility shirt and dark pants, Combs and his band took the stage in casual attire. The set design evoked the movie's theme with large pieces of broken metal infrastructure against a backdrop of a stormy sky, lightning, and fire.

Combs delivered a passionate rendition of the song, belting out the lyrics, "Ain't no love in Oklahoma / Just the whistle of a long black train."

The performance highlighted the country-rock track's release ahead of the movie's premiere in July and its accompanying music video, which has garnered over 30 million views on YouTube.

Combs, nominated for entertainer of the year and male vocalist of the year at the CMAs, also captured attention for his twangy cover of Tracy Chapman's "Fast Car", which became a Billboard Hot 100 hit.

Kelsea Ballerini and Noah Kahan also shared the stage at the 58th CMA Awards, to perform their heartfelt collaboration "Cowboys Cry Too". Dressed in coordinating white outfits, they took the stage as smoke drifted across the floor, creating an ethereal atmosphere.

Ballerini opened the performance with a candlelit verse, her voice filled with emotion as she sang about the vulnerability of men. Kahan joined her for the chorus, adding his own raw perspective to the song. They faced one another, their voices harmonizing seamlessly. The performance marked Kahan's CMA Awards debut, while Ballerini returned as a seasoned veteran.

The song was released in June as the lead single from Ballerini's fifth studio album, "Patterns." It addresses the traditional expectations of masculinity and celebrates the emotional depth of men. The track has been nominated for Musical Event of the Year at the 2025 Grammy Awards.

Hosted by Luke Bryan, Peyton Manning and Lainey Wilson, the 58th CMA Awards featured performances by Kelsea Ballerini, Jelly Roll, Chris Stapleton, Post Malone, Kacey Musgraves and many others. George Strait received the Willie Nelson Lifetime Achievement Award, while stars graced the red carpet in stunning attire.
