The Academy Museum of Motion Pictures' fourth annual gala celebrates Paul Mescal, Rita Moreno, and Quentin Tarantino while raising funds for the museum's exhibitions and programming.

AceShowbiz - The fourth annual Academy Museum Gala, presented by Rolex, raised over $11 million on Saturday night, October 19 to support the exhibitions, education initiatives, and public programming at the Los Angeles museum. The evening honored three Hollywood icons, Paul Mescal, Rita Moreno and Quentin Tarantino.
Mescal received the Vantage Award, presented by his "Foe" co-star Saoirse Ronan, for his emerging artistry that challenges cinematic narratives. Spielberg awarded Moreno the Icon Award, recognizing her significant global cultural impact, while Tarantino was presented with the Luminary Award by "Pulp Fiction" star John Travolta for expanding the creative possibilities of cinema. During his acceptance speech, Tarantino announced that he was donating his first handwritten draft of the script for "Pulp Fiction" to the museum.
The evening's program featured performances by Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo. Grande introduced Erivo, who sang renditions of classic movie songs, including "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" from "The Wizard of Oz" and Prince's "Purple Rain."
The guest list for the star-studded event included Hollywood icons such as Tom Hanks, Steven Spielberg, Meg Ryan, Joaquin Phoenix and Julia Louis-Dreyfus, as well as newcomers like Mikey Madison, Drew Starkey and Harris Dickinson. Co-chairs Dr. Eric Esrailian, Salma Hayek Pinault, Nicole Kidman, Eva Longoria and Tyler Perry welcomed attendees, including Academy Museum President and Director Amy Homma, Netflix chief Ted Sarandos, and the cast of "Emilia Perez" (Selena Gomez, Zoe Saldana, Karla Sofia Gascon and [c=Edgar RamÃrez).
The gala featured a menu designed by Curtis Stone with wine from Clarendelle & Domaine Clarence Dillon and specialty cocktails by Tequila Don Julio.
