AceShowbiz - In a recent Rolling Stone U.K. interview, Halsey revealed how her fiance has played a profound role in her personal and professional journey. "I'd said no more f**ing entertainers," she shared. "But when I met Avan, I was like, 'F**k. I'm screwed.' "
Halsey credited Jogia with helping her heal from postpartum depression and rediscover her individuality. "I didn't know how to be a person separate from being a mom," she said. "But he really made me want to try because I liked him so much."
The couple made their relationship Instagram official in late 2023 and have since made several public appearances together. In September 2024, Halsey announced their engagement to Jogia.
Halsey's upcoming project, "The Great Impersonator", is inspired by her experiences with imposter syndrome. "For a long time, I felt like a professional Halsey impersonator," she said. The project explores the challenges she has faced as a woman in the entertainment industry.
Despite being skeptical about dating another creative, Halsey fell deeply in love with Jogia. "I don't know where I'd be without him," she said. "He's been instrumental in my healing, my recovery, my self-concept."
