AceShowbiz - Halsey took to X (formerly Twitter) to respond to the backlash over an Instagram post featuring them in various risque outfits, including some eye-catching lingerie.
"I can't believe how angry everyone is that I wore a push-up bra," Halsey wrote, adding, "Damn I really still got it like that." When a fan asked who was upset with her choice of attire, Halsey succinctly replied, "The body cops."
Addressing the criticism further, Halsey pointed out her latest post was tamer than her previous appearance on racy movie "MaXXXine", "Like I didn't do full frontal on a 100-foot-tall IMAX screen. [Be f***ing for real.]"
The controversial Instagram post, shared three days prior, featured a stylish variety of looks from home. One outfit included a black knit sweater and a red plaid asymmetrical skirt paired with knee-high white socks and Mary Janes.
Another photo showcased Halsey in a lacy bra and underwear set while a separate edgy ensemble featured a leather biker jacket - worn with nothing underneath - along with a matching leather hat, tiny studded shorts, and boots.
For fans curious about the lingerie that sparked so much debate, Halsey was keen to share the details. "It's from Pepper! It's a miracle," they responded to an inquiry. "Not loaded with padding but gives a truly psychotic amount of lift. Huge fan. This is not an ad. lol."
Emphasizing her unbothered stance on unsolicited opinions, Halsey remains committed to rocking whichever look she chooses, whether it includes push-up bras or anything else.
Just last month, Halsey announced her For My Last Trick tour via a humorous Instagram Reel, which starts on May 10 at Toyota Pavilion at Concord in California and spans across multiple cities in the U.S. and Canada, wrapping up on July 6 in Highland, California.
