AceShowbiz - Lana Del Rey has broken her silence after marrying alligator tour guide Jeremy Dufrene last week, expressing frustration over unwelcome attention from paparazzi.
In a comment on Instagram fan account LanaBoards, the newlywed revealed that "a local couple from Houma won't stop flying drones into our windows every morning and following us with a tracker." She also called out paparazzi Sara Michelle Champagne and Kruesch, asking them to cease "following the family" and digitally altering her wedding ring into a pearl.
Despite the harassment, Lana praised her husband, saying, "All that being said Jeremy is the one and only. And amazing. And we're very happy."
Del Rey and Dufrene obtained their marriage license on September 23. However, it remains unknown if they signed a prenuptial agreement to protect her estimated $30 million fortune. Fans have expressed concerns about her financial assets in the event of a divorce.
Del Rey's wedding took place at the Bayous des Allemends in Louisiana, where Dufrene operates his swamp boat tours. Her nuptials were a departure from her previous engagement to music manager Evan Winiker in 2023 and rumored engagement to Clayton Johnson in 2020.
Dufrene, for his part, was previously engaged to Kelli Welsh for 12 years.
Despite her frustration with the paparazzi, Del Rey has stepped away from her music career to enjoy a low-key honeymoon. She is expected to perform live again at Stagecoach Festival in 2025.
