AceShowbiz - Tallulah Willis has shared an update on Bruce Willis' health. The daughter of the "Paradise City" actor went emotional when she opened up about "painful days" amid her father's battle with dementia.
When making an appearance on the "Today" show, the 30-year-old actress received a question about the condition of her 69-year-old actor father. During an interview, host Hoda Kotb asked, "How is your day these days?"
In response, Tallulah shared, "He's doing stable, which in this situation is good." While taking a deep breath, she went on to admit, "And it's hard." At one point, she got emotional, apparently trying not to break down in tears. She continued, "There's painful days."
Though so, Tallulah said that "there's so much love." She added, "And it really showed me to not take any moment for granted and I really do think that we'd be best friends. I really do think that he is very proud of me," before flashing her radiant smile.
In response, Hoda's co-host Savannah Guthrie stated, "It sounds like your mom gave you a good advice, saying like when you see him, you can't be thinking about what was or what you hoped it would be," seemingly making a reference to Tallulah's actress mother Demi Moore, who remains on good terms with Bruce despite their 2000 split.
Tallulah agreed as she nodded several times before saying, "You have to be in the moment. You have to be present." Savannah replied, "He recognizes you. He knows it's you so you have that moment together."
After candidly sharing about having "painful days," Tallulah received support from many social media users. Making use of X, formerly known as Twitter, one in particular wrote, "It's great to hear that he's stable. It must be a challenging time for the family, but love can really make a difference. Wishing them all strength!"
Another gushed, "Wow, Tallulah! What a strong, beautiful, well-spoken, and delightful young woman." Similarly, a third exclaimed, "It's nice you answered the question for her. She is a lovely daughter."
