AceShowbiz - On Thursday, September 5, 33-year-old rapper Rich Homie Quan, whose real name was Dequantes Devontay Lamar, was found unresponsive in his Atlanta home. His girlfriend, Amber Williams, discovered his body on the couch and called 911.

In the 911 call obtained by TMZ, Williams described finding Quan unresponsive after he had fallen asleep on the couch the night before. She told the operator that he had "foamed at the mouth" when she turned him over. Paramedics arrived at the scene but pronounced Quan dead.

According to Williams, Quan had not woken up or moved since falling asleep. She had placed a blanket over him and left to take her son to school. However, when she returned and checked on him, she found him not breathing and with no heartbeat.

Quan's autopsy is scheduled for Friday, and his cause of death remains unknown. His family and friends are reportedly "shattered and heartbroken."

Quan burst onto the mainstream hip-hop scene in 2013 with his hit single "Type of Way." He collaborated with several Atlanta-based rappers, including 2 Chainz, Jacquees and Young Thug. His name was dragged into Young Thug's RICO trial just days before his unexpected death.

While his loved ones search for answers, rapper Boosie Badazz (Lil Boosie) has claimed that Quan allegedly overdosed. However, the autopsy results could take weeks if deferred for additional testing.
