AceShowbiz - Leah Remini has officially pulled the plug in her marriage to Angelo Pagan. Shortly after announcing her separation from her husband of 21 years, the "King of Queens" star submitted the divorce papers, citing "irreconcilable differences" as the reason for their separation.

The 54-year-old filed the legal docs in Los Angeles County. Per court documents obtained by Page Six, she listed August 1 as the date of their separation.

Leah waived her right to spousal support and asked the court to terminate its eligibility to award support to Angelo. Her now-estranged husband also waived his right to spousal support in his response submitted on Friday, August 30.

Leah and Angelo confirmed their split by posting old photos accompanied by a thoughtful message. "After 28 years together and 21 years of marriage, we have decided to file for divorce," they wrote.

"Yes, we're sad, and we've got some figuring out to do as we continue to move forward into our new normal - together still in many ways, and apart in some new ones," they added. "But here's the thing: we've been best friends for so many years. We are still celebrating holidays together, watching our favorite TV shows together, and gathering as a family."

The couple emphasized the evolution of their relationship, acknowledging that they had changed over time and grown into roles that no longer fit them. Despite their divorce, Leah and Angelo maintain a strong bond, celebrating the lasting success of their marriage and their beautiful memories shared, especially raising their daughter.

"From our perspective, this marriage was a huge success," they continued. "And now, we're looking forward to creating even more cherished moments - just in a different way... We'll keep sharing snippets of our lives as we navigate this new chapter."
