AceShowbiz - Jayda Cheaves has addressed the criticism surrounding her new promotional video for her latest Waydamin swimwear launch. The Instagram influencer took to her Instagram account to comment on the backlash for going partially nude surrounding kids, including her son Loyal.
"I am the brand.. & the kids were NOWHERE on set after we filmed their scene OBVIOUSLY," Jayda wrote to a naysayer. "Why use somebody else kid when none of this is LITERAL and my son lives to be in front of a camera. It was only right to incorporate him."
In another comment, Jayda added, "I just want anyone commenting to KNOW it's nothing weird or ill about this video we ACTED out to leave a message and promote my latest launch. Which inspires every woman to feel BEAUTIFUL, FEARLESS, and ACCEPTED WITHIN no matter what."
Jayda further divulged that everything was done professionally. "This was a set with a real production team. I know it's hard to understand because I did use myself, & my child (who's an aspiring actor) along with another casted actor," she explained. "But plz keep in mind WE were all ACTING & trying to visualize the concept to create this short film, hence to why i got up made sure nobody was around and then proceeded to embrace that I was topless.. without any knowledge of WHO TOOK MY @waydaminbrand BIKINI TOP BECAUSE I WAS ALSEEP when it happened in the film."
Fans came to Jayda's defense after catching wind of Jayda's comments. "Y'all strange this ain't home very suggestively sexy and totally inappropriate," one fan said. "Yall mamas and grandmas must've never been naked around yall. Bc this was far from weird," another noted.
"Don't like it, don't support it. Simple. Y'all need something from the store?" someone else added. A person urged Jayda, "Stop explaining yourself Jayda. That's your brand. People with no business always in SOMBEBODY businessssssss fawkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk."
However, some others didn't seem to be happy with Jayda's responses to the backlash. "Idk I just feel like why even put the kids in it," one wrote, "I don't understand wearing certain things in front of kids at the water." Another comments, "As a mother of a son. This is sick actually."
