Halsey plays Tabby Martin, a friend of Maxine who also aspires to success in the entertainment industry. Describing her character, Halsey drew inspiration from her New Jersey roots, incorporating an East Coast attitude and accent. She also infused Tabby with influences from alt-leaning artists like Annie Lennox and Debbie Harry, reflecting the character's independence and strength.
